Josh is definetely not the QB he was in 2021... He's throwing into coverages and not seeing the obvious defenders. He's missing plenty of open options, he isn't running the football like he used to, and all we asked of him was to slide instead of taking a hit. His long ball accuracy is non existent. He is not on the same page with Davis. Josh needs to work on Josh. We have other issues but Josh has issues to fix himself

National media are starting to grind their collective axes

I'm not a fan of sports talk shows and never watch them. I can see for myself there is a problem. But without watching the clip the OP posted, I can say they are correct. -
I think there is some carry over , but Dorsey has put his stamp all over it and made it his own IMO.

I'm now more concerned with how we right this ship in the next 2 years and take advantage of JA's career back 9. Coaching changes and Beane has to be willing to make some tough decisions regarding players and then he has to draft better. I just don't see this team, righting this ship, this year. My optomism is not blind. There is an underlying fundamental problem and you have to look at common denominators

You can't install a new offense this year. Got to ride this one out.

Are people really that unhappy with our 4-2 Bills?
ddaryl replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our expectations are higher as we expect to win a SB with Allen. But we do have issues and IMO you have to look at the common denominators. Coaching is huge issue and has managed to get worse over the years. Beane tries to bring in players but he hasn't been able to put us over the top with acquisitions, and now we have to deal with cap issues. There is NO EASY FIX. So yes this place is going to be worse than the drought years, because exectations are so much higher. -
That was hysterically awesome

I personally thought the retool should of started at the trade deadline when we had a chance to offload players who will not be here next year. But people still think we can fix this... so we will have to gut it some for next season and retool from there. Dorsey and McDermott should be shown the door but I have to figure only Dorsey will be replaced and McD will get another shot with a new OC.

Would you be for "Eye in the Sky" officiating?

the game needs consistency from a referee stand point. Technology will be introduced in the next few years IMO -
After nine games, where do you think the Bills end up this season?
ddaryl replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm pessimistic. Even if we squeak into the playoffs I don't see us matching up with top playoff teams. Coaching, injuries, average drafting relying on heavily on FAs every year. Just not a recipe thats maintainable and I believe this year its all coming home to roost -
I've definitely done my share of shows. 80 Grateful Dead/JGB shows with Jerry about 20 Phish shows, Moe Galactic KDTU most of those 60s and 70s bands etc... etc... I did Phish in NJ in 2010 then went to see Warren Haynes at Mountain Jam for 5 days after that.... I was toast for a couple of weeks after that run

Haven't seen him play yet... I have been on hiatus from live music for a few years. Mostly because I'm trying hard to retire early so I can go see more live music and not have to worry about Monday's But I've been tuning into him for a few years

Billy Strings is fantastic.

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

I agreed to both of your posts. There is truth is both statements

Dorsey is not the right OC for a QB like Josh IMO. Yes he expects it but is it happening ? I honestly gave my opinion and that is not going to change unless some how it magically fixes itself, but then we will see lots of changes into how we gameplan and scheme which backs my point. Josh can read D's just not at the highest level of other HoF QBs who were masters at the pre-snap read and Dorsey needs to do something differently. Josh does his best when he is allowed to let plays develope. Our OL / pass blocking is an issue which keeps Josh from being Josh. The quick passing game the Bills try to run just does not produce consistent results When Josh is tasked to make the quick throw we have seen him muscling the ball between 3 defenders many times. Pre snap read should be able to find an open receiver with more space.

If the Bills defense is healthy, they're 6-1 right now
ddaryl replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
The offense has issues but I agree we would most likely be 6-1 or at least 5-2 with a fully healthy D Unfortunately every team needs to have depth and coaches who can scheme a team to play better when the inury bug hits. -
All these compalints about receivers RBs blocking OL schemes and Josh's struggles all have 1 common denominator
-
or maybe he needs puppy uppers
-
He isn't. Just like 99% of QB that ever play the game don't have that ability at that level. You act like anyone on the planet can do anything if they just focus. People have different strengths and different abilities, and some people don't have any. It is what it is. Josh will never be a presnap quick pass QB anywhere near the levels of Brady or Montana IMO But give Josh time with superior blocking and he will make teams pay.
