Yet another thread on draft thoughts, scenarios
ddaryl replied to tonyjustbcuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
would yo rather we draft a 2nd round talent QB at #3.... all of the QB talent in this draft is 2nd rd talent -
the leagues response was a sad joke but this was never worthy of a supreme court case. No the NFL swept under the rug nice and neatly.

I would much rather stick with Fitz... why do people always throw out ridiculous ideas that have absolutely not merit

I'm Gaining Interest in Blaine Gabbert
ddaryl replied to WickedGame's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this years QB draft is chalk full of 2nd round talent taking any QB @ #3 would be a horrible move -
Carson Palmer & the effect on the draft..
ddaryl replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
trade with Cincy, since they might be paranoid if we start getting offers at #3.. Then we still get our shot at a top DL and extra picks. -
Bills Mentioned In CBA - Let The Truth Be Known
ddaryl replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
common sense says the reason for the leagues immense success is its socialistic model. everyone here knows what would happen if we let the league be a pure free market league... -
NFL & NFLPA cancel 2nd day of talks
ddaryl replied to In-A-Gadda-Levitre's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Umm maybe you failed to read that the owners have a few billion in guaranteed TV contracts whether they have a season or not that they don't have to share with the players. -
only a pompous ass would complain about being caught getting fed popcorn from Cameron Diaz. A-Rod gave up his opportunity for privacy at a public event when he became a star baseball player, and gave it up even more when he started dating high profile women.
-
I would go along with that. I'm not a huge fan of the standing grazing Buffalo except as a throwback option
-
right on man. thanks for the props. If were going to gamble at #3 Gabbert might be the man. Ponder in the 2nd rd if we pass on Gabbert. Both Ponder and Gabbert hold high GPA's I would sign Fitz to an extension and bring Gabbert along slowly. I am startign to warm up to the idea of Gabbert in a Bills uni If only we could trade back a few picks and get that extra pick and still pick up a QB, but that's risky.

That data is incorrect. Not sure how or where you got that info from CBS, but if you look at the career game logs at ESPN and put the math together you get some very different numbers. Maybe I'm wrong, but something isn't adding up for one of us. I get much different totals for most everyone using ESPN as a reference. I just found the totalfootball.com link just recently
-
I believe your data is wrong Blaine Gabbert, I believe has started 26 games, Also Blaine has an over 60% completion, your data is definitley WRONG not sure about the rest of your data but my guess is more research is necesary I would never include Newtons games at Blinn in this formula. Blaine Gabbert, played in 29 games. I beleive he started 26, has a little over 60% completion rate, and holds a preyty high college GPA http://www.totalfootballstats.com/PlayerQB.asp?id=1205753 Blaine Gabbert Year Lge Team Age # GP Comp Att % Yds TD INT TD% INT% Y/G Y/A RAT 2008 NCAA Missouri Tigers 19 0 3 5 13 38.5 43 0 0 0.0 0.0 14.3 3.3 66.2 2009 NCAA Missouri Tigers 20 0 13 262 445 58.9 3593 24 9 5.4 2.0 276.4 8.1 140.5 2010 NCAA Missouri Tigers 21 13 301 475 63.4 3186 16 9 3.4 1.9 245.1 6.7 127.0 NCAA Totals 29 568 933 60.9 6822 40 18 4.3 1.9 235.2 7.3 132.6 I'll say it again your data is WRONG !

Do you take a chance on Jake Locker?
ddaryl replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
his accuracy is a huge liability. I'd stay away from inaccurate QB's regardless of the other intangibles. Gabbert at #3 is the only QB in this draft I would be really interested in. He has a 60% completion record in college. has a high GPA, and has played in 26 games as a college QB. Newton isn't very smart, and has some major red flags so I'm not chancing it with Newton either -
Scouts critical of Bills coaching at Senior Bowl

All one ca say now is.. In your !@#$ing face -
who would you root for if the Bills left
ddaryl replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
when the BIlls leave I'm done with the NFL. My loyalty is only to Buffalo.. the sport itself means nothing to me actually I disagree. Buffalo is my ONLY reaosn for watching football and hockey. take those teams away and I have no reason to ever watch... and won't -
Pray Andrew Luck declares for the draft
ddaryl replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Luck Mallett and Locker are having ups and downs this season and I have yet to see any of these QB's move ahead of the others in this race. -
Right better PSL's dumped on th eaverage blue collar fan who now will decide if a college educations for their children are more important then a $10K seating liscense... and then another $100 per ticket per game per year. I think PSL's are the just the beginning of the death of the big market teams who are about to face a huge fiscal reality.... But lets get one thing straight, the NFL put up much of the money for your stadium, so it might have not been tax payer money, but you still had help and that comes out of the pockets of the rest of the fans.... none the less, after 10 horrible years as a Bills fan it would be nice if you brought some ice to soothe are swolen balls you and the rest of the NFL have insisted on kicking... We're already down did you actually think you could bring us down some more... We're rock bottom man
-
How do you like those PSL's and increased ticket prices... you may be "unvinceable" (not really but I'll go with it) but your getting raped for your ticket prices... SO take that you big sissy... We'll see who's laughing when we get ot draft #1 overall... meanwhile I bet the farm you don't make it past the division playoff game. Yeah that's gotta hurt ! PS SAT Scores.... 800 on each of 3 tests (math, critical reading and writing) for a grand total of 2400

The Trent situation was not handled well
ddaryl replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the message was sent... You either perform or your out... Welcome to the pros boys.. what have you done for me lately -
!@#$ing sad i never root for injuries because if you can't beat the best then you really didn't beat anyone... the fact that anyone would even admit to rooting for injuries is pretty pathetic.... so if you voted yes for injuries your a piece of ****
-
Clausen won;'t be crap, and next years QB's are a much better group to pick form. I'm super glad we did not waste a pick on him
