Bills considering trading up to #2 pick
ddaryl replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
potentially is not good enough. I like Taylor.. but we would need a QB to groom and be there under Taylor. Taylor has flaws that may or may not be able to improve upon i would say there is little chance of this trade happening for Buffalo. -
Nope. I personally see the Bills tearing the whole thing down after this season and starting from scratch again.

Which QB do you want the Bills to draft?
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do not avoid the QB position. I can not believe how many people say don't waste a pick we're to desperate at other positions. Nothing like repeating the same mistakes year after year. Have some of you not learned those lessons yet. Maybe 10 more years of being a bottom feeder team will convince you then As far as I'm concerned until we have a much better QB situation starter (Tyrod has LOTS to prove still) and backup you can forget the rest of the team. Lets face it Tyrod most likely will never be a 16 game QB. He's going to take his licks This franchise will never be good until they solve the QB situation and depth and there is no ignoring it even for a year. -
NFL Network: Bills Will Challenge for AFC East Crown
ddaryl replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how many years and counting. No Bills fan should "Get Over It". -
this quote is completely ABSURD. 1st of all TT is NOT A FA... If he was someone would probbaly sign him for bigger money but he is not a FA and therefore the point is completely moot. You don't hand out huge contracts to any player who had 1 average year at best at his position, that is a recipe for huge regret and huge franchise crippling salary problems going forward. Especially given the fact he is under contract for another year and we can franchise him if need be the next year. We hold all the cards here TT is under contract received an option to opt out of a 3rd year and gets some performance raises from his 1st year going into the 2nd year. TT is doing quite well and will have an opportunity to get a solid payday, and all it will take is improvement from his 1st year as a Bill. I fail to see why being smart and not handing out a contract after 1 year is somehow a negative. I see this as a HUGE positive for this franchise learning from its own mistakes finally

NFL Network on Tyrod: Bills won't pay him. Pay the man!
ddaryl replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He'll get paid if he can prove he is not a 1 year wonder. This is one of about 1000 reasons I just do not watch sports commentary anymore Yeah you mean like Fitzpatrick ? -
For those who want a new stadium... Test Run
ddaryl replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Take the train into town or a bus.. Parking Problem solved, and you don't have to drive out less traffic and no worries about a DWI There are lots of train tracks that are all connected to the south end of Buffalo, and I would have to believe they would ramp up game day public transportation. use that parking $50 to stimulate some local restaurants bars and/or vendors. -

NFL Execs say Bills should get moving on new stadium
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if Buffalo doesn't upgrade to a nice modern stadium then all I can say is its still Bumbling Buffalo Buffalo as a city needs this The Ralph is old and tired and they need to stop throwing 100's of millions at it every 5 years IMO You want to be a rising city, a city of the future these kind of projects are a must... I do agree PSL's are a loser situation, but I honestly do not see PSL's being implemented in Buffalo. The big cities were able to use PSL's because they have lots of wealthy stupid people. I do not ever see PSL's being part of a Buffalo plan for multiple reasons My $0.02.... that is all -
Taintriots* want their 1st rounder back (update: told no)

the court of public opini... err persuasion is more powerful -
I struggle to understand why anyone would be giving Rex the benefit of the doubt after what was witnessed on the field last year. To regress that far on defense is something I just cannot understand. For him to be completely incapable of adjusting to the talent on the roster just really bugs the hell out of me. there's an outside chance he rights the ship this year, but if I was a gambling man I would go all in against that. Players may like him, but we missed the playoffs yet again, and there were plenty of coaching decisions to blame for that IMO. As for Blake... I'm not expecting much from this guy at all.. And add in his brother Ryan, it seems like very desperate moves for a guy who knows this is his last shot... In the end the main decision maker is still making the decisions... Here's hoping I'm wrong. I have plenty of hot sauces laying around to make crow palatable, and will gleefully eat my share, but sad to say this version of the Bills feels exactly like the last 7 versions to me. I'm cynical but its the franchise itself that has made me that way. I think that's the real problem, people accept it and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy that permeates all aspects of society which leads us to the cess pool we are swimming in today. I've read plenty of posts where Bills fans say they are more than ok with cheating if it brings us a championship. I just hang my head in disgust.. I personally don't find any championship or game worth that

Pats wheeling and dealing, trade for Martellus Bennet
ddaryl replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you want to be the best you beat the best. I have no opinion about the Patriots moves. Simply put if we are a good enough team we will win, if not more of the same. IMO It doesn't matter because i have 0 faith in Rex's ability to adapt to anything -
Rex can't adapt the most successful NFL coaches can adapt to their personnel. Rex uses a shoe horn to force players into his system. Fergy we're gonna need you to pee in this cup. We suspect you may be using illegal substances

It's the Rex Ryan Clown car of coaching

The overall lack of QB talent is killing the NFL
ddaryl replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
League is definitely QB deficient, and those with slightly above average QBs pretty much lay all their eggs in the same basket when it comes time to pay that QB. its a recipe for continued and future pains for the league IMO. 25 years ago medicore QB's were very functional with a solid D strong OL/ running game, but these days just fining a solid above average QB is tough, and even then it more times then not.. not enough to put a team over the top -
Rex is driving this clown car...

Philly reporter takes shots at Buffalo
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really don't' understand why anyone would have any hate for Buffalo or why anyone would need to project their dislike of the city when writing about free agency pick ups But what is weird is what the hell does philly really offer.. Its a run down town -
Nigel Bradham's comments about Rex Ryan's defense
ddaryl replied to gr8billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're kidding right... How many regime changes before this one where we saw the same reality, new coach new scheme new personnel to run new scheme.. Its happening again The fact is Rex is supposed to be a great defensive mind. IMO that means he is capable of adjusting his scheme to the talent at hand. He did the exact opposite and tried to shoe horn his scheme in and we regressed massively because of it. I don't know about you but I do not find that type of regression of defense palatable, all that does for me is prove without a doubt that Rex can not adapt, and in the modern NFL you either adapt or you are fodder. I'll watch and I'll root for the Bills like always, but I saw enough last year to lose all faith in Rex and I fully expect continued heart ache and playoff droughts for years to come. Hope I'm wrong but I saw little last year that makes me confident in Rex. -
Chris Hogan visiting Patriots-Signs $12M offer sheet
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he does no such thing at all. Brady may get more production out of Chris, but Chris will do nothing to make Brady better. Hogan was average and average is what you let go. Now Stephan Charles was a much tougher pill to swallow, but this draft is deep in Stephan Charles type players -
Chris Hogan visiting Patriots-Signs $12M offer sheet

There are dozens of Hogans available in the draft and late FA. we won't miss him. -
What does this year's Free Agency do to Tyrod's value?
ddaryl replied to hmsmystic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Same thing happens every year, the pay increases considerably in a QB starved league desperate for solid consistent mediocre play -
Incognito signs 3 year deal with bills
ddaryl replied to HumbleAndHungry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From the words coming from the media leak it seemed like he was asking for $8 mil per season with $20 mil guarenteed $5 mil is a sweet deal for the Bills. -

Will the Bills make the playoffs this year?
ddaryl replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we will regress. I have less than 0 faith in Rex Ryan after what I saw last year
