I never thought as Coleman as a #1. I thought of him as a big reciever who would be solid with contested catches I do not understand who thought Coleman as a #1 WR, or why they would. That being said he has failed to make the step up and become a reliable target.

Von Miller Has More Sacks This Season Than Any Bills Player Thus Far...
ddaryl replied to NoName's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are not paying Von Miller. He was cut and we took the dead cap hit but he is not getting paid by the Bills -
THINK MAN, who in their right mind would trade for an injured DT. How about the salary cap ramification to the Bills. It would cost the Bills well over $20 milion in dead cap to trade Ed Oliver. Which means who do you want to cut so we can afford to trade Ed Oliver?

I am pessimistic about any chance of making the SB this year. If we do not make the SB then we neeed to gut salary from the existing roster, and set up for Josh Allens back 9 of his career. However I am waiting ot see how this defense looks with players back. Also want to see some better schemes for the O getting guys open. We cannot simply keep playing the same salary cap dance and expect the team to get over the hump. Beane / McDermott need to draft much better and not have to rely of secondary FA signing to fill a roster out.

its not happening, Kevyn Adams is still employed, less than zero chance McDermott gets fired. What about Beane as well if McDermott goes Beane goes too... No guarentees whomever repalces these guys would do better

Can everyone just take a freakin breath?

Are we going to make the playoffs? the NE Patriots are in 1st place. The wheels are wobbly and could fall off IMO Need to see what the DL looks like after the BYE but I really don't think that is going to be enough to make a huge difference... We shall see, but everyone has the right to be concerned when you witness what we have seen consistently this year -
Roster Support over the past three years (Beane)
ddaryl replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll judge this team after we get some players back after the bye, but I am not encouraged. Honestly we need a salary cap reset, there are lots of players making too much money for their level of play. Beane's drafting has not helped much because that is where you get difference makers on affordable contracts. But you got to draft the actual difference makers We need Hairston to come back and make a difference because our DB's are pretty sad as a whole right now. We need LBs because Milano is a bit of a glass tiger these days, and nobody has stepped up here much Our DL has a solid chance to get better after the bye but that is wait and see, and will it be enough to make the rest of the D play jump up 2 or 3 notches cause 1 notch ain't going to do it. WR's are average on their best days. Speed is always nice but there are plenty of WR's who run 4.4 have had fantastic careers. SO either its bad route running or the fact that every season Josh has to get in synch with a significantly altered WR crew and is just not gelling this year early. Coleman just does not use his size the way we envisioned Just my opinion based off the 1st part of our season. I probably have more to say but not off the top of my head right now. -
No its not. We just paid Cook so that's where the money went.

When you see a Cold Front jersey, what is the first thing on your mind?

I didn't like them when they annouced them, Like them even less now. Stick to team colors. I like the Zubaz idea floated around here. Zubaz pants would be superior than the cold front Detroit Lions Dallas Cowboys colors IMO. -
Coming out party for the D-Line Sunday Night
ddaryl replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unfortunaltely I want the D to be able to do what a D is supposed to do. Our offense is fine scoring 30, our D needs to stop teams more consistently otherwise no SB for us -
I've seen enough of Bass to never feel confident when he is kicking FGs. Prater has the one horrible kick but like mentioned above he gets the mulligan for that one. I would prefer Prater based on what I have witnessed with Bass, but the sample size is small

Honestly I am very concerned with Drake Maye scrambling and our swiss cheese run defense. Hopefully the D gest their ***** together -

If he was good enough to be a leader and win games for Cleveland right now they would be playing him. If what Rex is saying that he is not putting in the time then that is why he is not playing. I do not believe the 50% number, that seems like a rediculosly inflated number designed to make people feel outrage. I do believe this happens but I do not beleive that it is even close to 1:2. I know lots of friends and co-workers who have children and none of them ever say anything about chimining in with thier kids boss. If it was this high of perscentage we would all have multiple stories to share about it.

I agree legs don't bend this way without serious ligament tears or breaks

And those are the stats that come home to roost against top playoff teams. I said it during training camp and I'll say it again, we have to see what the Bills D looks like during the 2nd half of the season and down the stretch. AND Like most I'm hoping getting past the bye and having a healthy D makes a difference... but NO i feel we are walking the exact same path we have walked before. I do not like what I have been seeing as a whole so far regarding how the D is playing as a unit. There has been some great individual efforts, but no consistency. If things do not improve I forsee another embarassing exit from the playoffs.

Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??
ddaryl replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
agree with the consensus.. Knox makes too much money and will need to take a paycut to stay in Buffalo, and I feel he would be williing to do this since he loves Josh Allen and the Bills. -
I don't think our D is playing at a level that can take on any of the top contenders in the playoiffs. Hope they get it together in the 2nd half of the season, but I'm seeing to much of the same crap we see evey year.. bend don't break BS

don't matter to me. Either the Bills are playing and I will not watch the half time show ( I despise the pageantry of the SB halftime ), or the Bills won't be playing and I won't watch the superbowl at all
