  1. Desperation in my posts? Where? You're being delusional. You can't defend Bush so you attack the poster, typical from some of you on the right. Why don't you try sticking to the topic at hand instead of resorting to petty insults and namecalling? Or is that all you can contribute? Your anger is very telling, could it possibly stem from desperation?
  2. Oh boy, the hatred that spews forth from some of you on the right is just downright comical ! Bush is on his way out, and the truth hurts dsoesn't it? It must be killing you guys to know that Bush is falling flat on his face. Flame me all you want children, I'll be laughing at YOU on November 3rd. Gotta run, have a nice day!
  3. You mean other countries that were against the invasion of Iraq, and wouldn't aid Bush, might actually be willing to aid Kerry in Iraq? Whodathunkit?! Honestly, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this regard, I believe there will be a lot of countries that Bush has managed to alienate that will be more than happy to renew their allegience with the US on November 3rd when everybody wakes up to a new president. Kerry will have his work cut out for him tho', there's a lot of Bush damage to undo.
  4. Here's a link: Christopher Reeve Unfortunately, Christopher Reeve has died.
  5. Kerry is for embryonic stem cell research. He wants to help find a cure for parkinsons and spinal cord injuries (paralysis) and the like. I'm looking for a link that I saw earlier today, I'll post it, if I can find it again. By the way, I love your avatar. Go Yankees!
  6. Hurt someone's feelings? On this board? Now that's funny!
  7. Huh? "you got the message"? What message are you talking about?
  8. Okay Rich, I think we've all established that "assmonkey" is your new favorite word of the month.
  9. Good Lord man! I can't take it anymore! Haven't you ever learned the proper use of a comma, a period or even a double space after the end of a sentence? It hurts to try and make sense of your nonsensical posts. Jeez, take an english class will you?! Even Bush himself would be embarassed by your illiteracy. It doesn't have to be perfect, just at least try to make it understandable for crying out loud.
  10. I didn't hear Bush deny owning a timber company, did you? Was Kerry lying? If he was lying why didn't Bush dispute it? What are the facts, Don? What I said was that those were my immediate thoughts upon seeing that exchange. My opinions of Bush have been negative for... oh, about four years now. Nothing Kerry says has any impact on my opinion of Bush. Sorry Don, Bush helped me form my opinion of him all by himself.
  11. Okay Mickey, thanks for clarifying this in a sensible way, without any spin. I was having a little trouble wrapping my mind around exactly what was being inferred. I guess I was having a brain cramp !
  12. My take on that exchange was "Jesus Christ, he has so much money and so many business interests, that he doesn't even know what he owns!" "WTF!" "He doesn't identify with the average joe at all!" . He didn't deny owning a timber company, he was just surprised by it, like he wasn't sure if he does or not. And me being an average joe, that didn't sit well with me. To me it made him look like a filthy rich, pompous, ignorant man. I mean, I know what I own and what I don't own, most of working America does, right? I know Kerry is filthy rich too, but he doesn't come off as a pompous, ignorant man. Don't flame me, those were just my immediate thoughts after seeing that timber exchange, I'll refrain from saying anything about the wood between Bush's ears .
  13. You're absolutely right. I'm willing to bet that there isn't one person on this board that wouldn't pay a ransom to get their loved one back. Not a one. Do you think Bush would pay a ransom to get one of his own daughters back? Of course he would. As would Blair. They'd have a lot of hypocritical 'splaining to do if they did tho' (or should I say "if they got 'caught' paying up?"). Bottom line, is that anyone would give in if they were directly affected. No doubt about it.
  14. Ditto for me. It's not as cut and dried for everyone. In the instance of rape, abortion should be an option. A rape victim shouldn't be forced to deal with her rapist for the rest of her life. Either thru the baby or thru the rapist wanting contact or visitation with the offspring. But I do not believe abortion as birth control should be allowed either.
  15. Still laughing at that one!!
  16. In the background POWELL scoffs: "What in the hell are them damn fools grinning about?!! They're actin' like a coupla schoolgirls running off to play dolls, for christ sake!! Damn fools!! I can't wait to retire outta this damn circus!
  17. Going to my son's hockey game in Batavia and then hopefully back home in time to catch the tail-end of the Yankees game. GO REGALS GO YANKEES!!
  18. 1) Nothing to do with the topic at hand? I beg to differ. 2) Is that the best you can do? I pretty much agree with everything you've said about Bush here, but I've never said those things. Since my arrival last week? I've been here for a couple of years now pal. 3) It doesn't warrant a response. I never said he invented "pork". Show me where I said that.
  19. It's a sad fact for a lot of us pal.
  20. Why don't you give me an example of my side? I've never defended Kerry on any issue anywhere or at anytime. I only state my reasons for why I believe Bush needs to be ousted. The truth is Darin, Kerry is the lesser of two evils. You really don't have too much to say, do you Darin?
  21. You think you have all of the answers don't you Darin? Do you have a crystal ball too? Replacing Bush can only help. You don't think Bush has changed anything in the last four years? Bush is on a path of destruction in case you haven't noticed. I'd rather take a different path. You mention Clinton and the economy, I suppose you also feel that Bush has nothing to do with the current economy either, right? I'm part of the problem eh? I didn't vote for Bush, did you? Your self-righteousness makes you a bit of an ass, Darin.
  22. How stupid are you? Did YOU read my post? I was merely stating a fact. Whenever something indefensible is said about Bush, instead of giving an honest defense of Bush's actions the typical response invariably contains either Kerry or Clintin in the reply. How about you giving us an honest and intelligent defense of some of the things mentionsed in blzruls post? Or maybe it's time for your nap?
  23. Look again. Clinton was brought up also. I should have included him as well. Typical Bushiness, passing the buck as usual. Bush is never at fault is he?
  24. Based on the fact that Bush is incapable and incompetant. Bush has already proven this. Kerry's not the president (yet), he hasn't proven what he can do as president. I'd rather give someone new a chance to turn things around, than give Bush another chance to fail.
  25. I read every one of 'em. The only defense Bush supporters have is to attack John Kerry. "Well, Kerry this" or "Kerry that" is their answer for everything Bush. The fact is, Bush is indefensible. He is the person currently running this country. He f$$ked it up all by himself. If you defend every Bush attack with a reply that has John Kerry's name in it, then you too are in denial. I'm voting for John Kerry. Not because I'm sure he will be a great president. The truth is, I'm not sure. But I do believe he can undo a lot of the damage inflicted by the Bush Admin.. I do believe Kerry can heal the global rifts and alienation from other countries that Bush has caused. Voting for Bush is not an option for me. I've seen what his last four years have accomplished (no pun intended). It scares me to think of how much more damage this man is capable of inflicting on America. For those who support Bush, I've said it before and I'll say it again: If Bush does get another four years, we'll see how much you all support him at the end of the next four years. The rest of us will just shake our heads and wonder why it took four more years for you to see him for the idiot that he is.
