(OT) Sabres jersey question...
TracyLee replied to USMCBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, if I'm not mistaken, your avatar is Donnie Baseball correct? Well, Chris Drury's fav player is Don Mattingly and he wears his number (#23) as a tribute. And I'm willing to bet he will be named captain as soon as hockey resumes. So I'd say either Drury or Vanek. Trouble with Vanek is you don't know what number he'll choose until he plays his first NHL game. Also the possibilty of the Sabres changing jerseys is they are supposedly only changing their third jerseys, most likely to a modern version of the old blue and gold and not before 2006-07. -
Buffalo, NY / 38 / Hamburg, NY Virginia is where I wanna reside someday.

I'm pretty sure that this is total BS. My dad retired from Bethlehem after 30 some years and I'm sure I would've noticed if he had 13 weeks vacation every year. I'll ask him next week when he gets back from Maui, and I'll be sure to let you know .

VA, are you saying theres no difference between downloading music/movies and some priest molesting your kid? If that's the case I sure hope you don't have any kids. $100M Clergy Abuse Deal

What makes me sick is that these pigs cover for each other when they get caught and just get themselves transferred to a new church where they can carry on their pedophiliac ways in a new environment. Whats ironic is that a good percentage of these men become priests because they are homosexual. Pedophilia has been proven to be a dirty little secret of the church, but homosexuality is unacceptable?

You're joking right? I say twentyfour-seven.
-
Well, he does take two very long showers a day .
-
I already said that his computer is not on 24/7. You musta missed that page! Kazaa is only on when being used (it's not left running in the background). At any rate his computer is only powered on at most 2.5 hours a day, obviously a little longer on the weekends. For the last time, he is not distributing!! He does not share, sharing his files is disabled! Got it?

NO!! If you or your children have ever done anything even remotely illegal, even if it's not enforceable, don't get involved in this thread lest you are prepared to be thoroughly judged by the high and mighty and the holier-than-thou-never-do-anything-remotely-wrong-in-their entire-life fellows on this board. .
-
Yes I do honestly believe that he isn't making copies, much less selling them. He's an open book, never shuts his bedroom door, leaves his money on top of his dresser, calls me into his room constantly to show me what he's doing (he's big into autodesk inventor). His friends don't need him to burn them copies of anything, they all have their own computers and burners. I know what he's up to at all times, I live in the suburbs, if he wants to go somewhere I have to drive him there. He doesn't walk the streets distributing anything.
-
Thank you fez. I just wanted to hear you admit that you regularly commit felonies . FWIW, I have a copy of the comeback game from you, and I'm perfectly happy with it, felony or not, it's one of the greatest games ever, and thanks to you, I have it .
-
Isn't that sort of like a bootleg? Isn't that also illegal?
-
No, he already charges for the disc and for shipping, the tips are extra. It's in his signature.
-
You know Fez, I'm not trying to pick a fight with you but if you take tips for the Bills dvd's that you burn for your fellow TBDer's isn't that the same as receiving compensation for them, therefore distributing with intent to sell? Isn't that a felony? Just curious.
-
He doesn't take a bus, silly, I drive him.
-
You don't actually expect anyone on this board to admit to any wrongdoing now do you? That would require honesty, although I am curious to see if any one of the holier-than-thou have enough courage to reply with truthfulness.
-
The pillow thing is nothing more than a joke. But have you ever jaywalked? Of course you have and I'm willing to bet that every single person on this board has too, even though they know it's illegal. They do it because they think its trivial and they know it's not going to be enforced, right? Have you ever known someone to get a ticket jaywalking? Probably not. But it's still illegal isn't it? Doesn't stop anybody from doing it. I don't know what more I can say on this subject. I've said DL is generally illegal but it is not generally enforced. Them's the facts. I can't be any more clear than that.
-
Awww shucks NG, it's just a play on words! In a nutshell, it is generally illegal, but it is not generally enforceable. I'm not concerned with this particular infringement anymore than I am about ripping the "Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law" tags off of my mattress. Or about jaywalking, it is illegal you know, just generally not enforceable. And I'll bet none of the high and mighty have ever jaywalked! Maybe Steve'll be happy now!
-
Steve that's what "gray area" means. I said it wasn't enforceable which would lead one to believe that I believed it to be illegal, get it? I thought I cleared this up already but some people like to beat a dead horse.
-
Sure. I said "there's nothing illegal about downloading shared files", and generally, there isn't. But, where did I say it was legal? Where did I use the term legal? I said it was unenforceable which would lead one to believe that I believed it was illegal. Maybe there's a gray area ? You're beating a dead horse.
-
Do you have nothing better to do everyday than be an !@#$? I mean I realize you like to be the center of attention and all but your 'gig' is really, really old. Can't you come up with something new? Are you really just content to harrass everyone that crosses your path, even though you are known to seek people out with that same intent. You are a very ugly person. Did I mention that you are also a hateful, miserable prick? I think I did.
-
I was being sarcastic, I guess you're equally slow .
-
Oh, I get it! So if it sucks you're okay with downloading it?
-
Now you did it! All the holier-than-thou church crazies are gonna come out of the woodwork now!
-
Okay lets clear something up here, I NEVER said that downloading music/movies was legal, I said it was unenforceable, like many other laws on the books. I said "Even if I believed it were illegal", but nowhere in these 25 pages did I say that I believed it was legal. Unenforceable, yes, that I said. For those of you that got your panties all in a bunch, feel better now?
