  1. Mets tickets are more than enough punishment and actually worse for society -who needs more @Gugny's around?
  2. I, really, truly wonder, if other fan bases love the hope and has the expectation of a scrub becoming an all-pro like us Croom is the new Mike Jasper
  3. You have to look at the profile of the players - he does this in the later rounds as well -Vosean Joseph for instance. RD1 definitely Beane loves the athletic high ceiling guys. He has said in a past interview last year , he grades the guys in RD1 as Top-tier, Mid-tier and Bottom-tier. He likes to move around as well, with the Edmunds pick , they had him identified as a top -tier guy and were trying to move to 14 to get him. He said if a top tier is falling and if it is s position of need, they would be aggressive and get him, if it wasn't a position of need - they in most cases wouldn't move. Beane doesn't give a lot of info out, but he doesn't lie and he is proving to be consistent in his thinking and moves....
  4. There is no taking a scalpel to trim any fat, as that isn't any other than Hooper. The cuts will be taking a cleaver to their team , which does not have much depth at all.
  5. staying at #22and looking at BPA- the CBs seem to fall there and I think are a better option that driving WR talent up the board. Where I am on the WRs is that you have the top 3 who are heads and shoulders above the rest, and the next 2ish sets of tiers are pretty close in overall talent. If we don't go for one of the 3, I suspect we will wait until RD2 to draft one

  10. On October 4, 2007 Jonas Jennings took a leave of absence from the San Francisco 49ers to deal with 'private matters'. He was replaced by Adam Snyder for the week 5 game against the Baltimore Ravens. It was announced the week after that he will rejoin the team as the starter at LT, but during the next game against the New York Giants he split time with his backup Adam Snyder. Jennings sustained a high ankle sprain in the second quarter of the 49ers' loss to the Giants on October 21 and missed the subsequent two games. On November 5 he was placed on Injured Reserve; coach Mike Nolan stated that Jennings was to undergo surgery to remove "loose bodies" in his ankle, effectively ending his 2007-2008 season. The 49ers brought Jennings back for the 2008 NFL season but did not guarantee him a starting position. During the 2008 season Jennings continued his injury-stricken career as a 49er when he injured his right shoulder. Although he insisted on remaining on the sideline as an emergency backup, ultimately he was placed on injured reserve to undergo his 3rd shoulder surgery. Jennings was released by the 49ers on March 27, 2009.[2][3]
