  1. Still could have taken much better players that would have helped them this year. Dillion was not going to give them more than Jones this year (he had 16 TDs last year and 1k yards)
  2. I'm not paying 2 LBs $27 million. I would rather pay Milano than Edmunds.
  3. It was horrendous and to me that was the end of GB right there...
  4. He should be, it was a terrible call, but... Not as bad as the HC kicking the FG or you know Rodgers running the ball into the end zone on the 3rd down play (I could have ran it in). Or the GM drafting Jordan Love in the first, AJ Dillon in the second = 2 picks who contributed nothing to this team, expect Love pissing their HOF QB off.... Plenty of blame to go around. Dumpster fire in GB
  5. I would hold on to Mitch and Hughes, the rest can go. C is a hard position to find and get up to speed and Hughes is still good, just has zero help. You can't dump our only pass rusher when we actually need another one McD needs to rethink his D line rotation, too much money for very little production I am also not comfortable paying to LBs this kind of money, pick one. I choose Milano over Edmunds
  6. The DL is awful, I get we were looking at the cap and who do you resign and who you don't Phillips got paid, missing Star, Lawson, Vincent Taylor are all better than what we have. Last offseason I beat the drum to cut Trent Murphy and use his savings along with LorAx's savings to pay Austin Hooper. I would still do that today. Trent Murphy is just under a $10 million cap hit to ride the pine. Quintin Jefferson $7 million, Kroft $5.4 million, Butler $7.4 million, Addison $9.9 million, Hughes $9.5 million Jordan Phillips is a $12 million hit - would you have paid him?
  7. I know...he shouldn't have played IMO (not that we honestly are good enough to beat KC). Stills would have given us more. When Sean said today (paraphrasing) that he wants to be able to roll with the guys that got us here (if the trainers and medical staff gives them the thumbs up) all I could think about was Chan saying "it was his turn"... I only saw him on like 3 plays...
  8. While I was at work, I listened to WGR a lot today. Eric Wood mentioned this in 2 separate interviews, the crowd impacted them a whole lot. He said the Tackles usually have a hard time with the silent count, they have a hard time looking at the ball and looking at the guys across from them. He noticed they were slow off the ball because of this and thinks it was magnified even more this season due to the lack of fans in the stands and having very little noise all year long. He said Josh and the offense as a whole was not ready for that....
  9. https://theathletic.com/2344704/2021/01/25/buffalo-bills-chiefs-afc-championship-game-1988/ “When we beat the Jets to clinch,” Wolford said, “we celebrated like none other because it hadn’t been done in a while. To win the division, especially to dominate the way we did, the letdown was on. “Because it was our first time, we thought, ‘If we don’t get home-field advantage, then it won’t be that big of a deal.’ We learned that lesson, no doubt.” “Now you just have to continue to add a piece or two while you maintain the same type of hunger and attitude,” Talley said. “The leadership must hold everyone accountable as they have so far. “They need to remember that feeling from when they were not being satisfied. I can’t see them feeling satisfied with how that went. We pissed up in the air and it fell in our face.” “Buffalo is missing a good ground attack,” Bennett said. “I can’t say the kids they have aren’t capable, but the evolution of the game has gotten away from a vital part of offense, and I think a running game would have helped Buffalo yesterday.” “I think they’re going to be great next year, too,” Ritcher said. “They’re going to have another shot at this championship. They have all the right pieces. They have a great coach, a great quarterback and they really pull together.
  10. Don't forget the DL... they were awful as well
  11. Kelce is a match up nightmare, I wasn't necessarily talking about Edmunds last night. I just find myself wanting more out of him this year and with a hefty option coming up, I'm a bit down on him. IIRC, when we drafted him he was supposed to be our Gronk equalizer. I know he is only 22 and an athletic freak in terms of size/speed. I know he was dinged up this year as well, but I just feel like we aren't getting enough out of that position. It could be the scheme though...
  12. The lack of a 4 man rush has been apparent all year. The overturning of the DL last year (losing Lawson and Phillips) and Star opt-ing out hurt a lot. My preference last off season was to dump Murphy and spend on Austin Hooper. Edge is a huge need this year, but I still feel like one guy isn't enough, even with Star coming back. I haven't been on a ton this season, but will be back here spending more time going forward. Just wondering what your thoughts are on Edmunds?
  13. OL is still not that good. I mean Lee Smith is still a thing
  14. certainly not the type you gameplan for and not a main threat...
  15. Not one player stepped up. Our WRs suddenly couldn't beat man, the OL was a hot mess and Singletary should be left in KC
  16. Front 4 are awful.... I'm not feeling Tremaine 10000000%
  17. Stills and Freeman would have been better than Davis/Brown & Singletary is pretty much useless at this point... The gameplans were awful. Daboll went into a shell (Josh did audible quite a bit, so how much is him vs Dabs idk). The defensive game plan was awful, no point playing a soft zone to keep Hill and Kelce in front of you and still let them torch you - who else were we worried about. We did nothing to take them away and we made zero adjustments to even attempt it...Mahomes had all day to throw
  18. DL, TE, RB & OL Singletary regressed after his rookie season & Moss is not enough, OL got beat with pressure from 4 rushers, DL can't get any pressure rushing 4, TE is a must have in the NFL while Knox has improved, I don't see him being it. Last offseason I was high on cutting Trent Murphy and using his money for Austin Hooper. Would have been a better investment. With the Covid Salary Cap likely for this upcoming season, we will lose some pieces and not be able to make too many good replacement signings... I'm happy with the progress we made this year, it is easy to go from Bad to good, not so easy to go from good to great. As much as Allen has improved and how great he was this year, the gap between Mahomes and anyone is enormous... Coaching and the gameplans were concerning as well. Our WRs couldn't break free of man coverage and our soft zone that was presumably put in place to keep Hill and Kelce in front of us gave up like 25 catches for 300 yards and a TD or 2. Not. The gap between us (Good) and KC (Great) is going to be very challenging to overcome the next couple years
