  7. And that is what worked with our players. A smart coach would have left what worked, slowly worked their scheme in as players changed. This way you don't ruin an entire season being a F&cking Idiot! After his first few meetings and practices he should have seen this... I am not one for just throwing out a coach after one season, but IMO this is a huge flaw that won't get much better. No adjustments were made. Why is their a "rift" between him and Whaley? Well the coach keeps blaming it on execution and the players. Don't you think the GM might get a little bit pissed off at that? especially when they were playing well the 2 previous seasons and were a monster just 1 year before... Ah shucks, "I tried it but it didn't work" (said every husband who didn't want to do that one chore for the wife or son who didn't want to mow the lawn)...asshat As for who I want as an HC, I want someone who doesn't try to play GM, someone who isn't an OC, someone who isn't a DC. I want a HC who can focus on the game know when to challenge, make calls to go for it on 4th and 1 on the opponents 40-35yrd line, etc. I want someone who can look at what we have talent wise and work with the coordinators to build systems that work for the talent we have. I want a coach that line their best on the field and says come beat our best and imposes our will on others. I want a coach who has the same vision as the GM and they work together to build and fill out the roster. If it's Schwartz, fine, if it's Reich fine, if it's Rex (well ok it isn't him)
  8. TL;DR How is this still even a thing? Really?!
  9. If it's Polian, it has been done since last year...
  10. If we purge the roster and keep Rex...it will be October
  11. There wasn't effective communication from the top down and he could see what we saw on TV, the jumbo-trons weren't showing it. They have a new system in place now. I won't get into details, but it has been addressed...
  12. Rex is the anti-Marrone. After what the organization went through with his attitude and demeanor, the pendulum swung the other way and they fell in love with the bravado and talk like almost everyone always does. He is the type of guy I would love to have a beer with and break balls with, but just is not HC material.
  13. This dude has been spot on with big news...IIRC he broke Roman as OC before that was on anyone's radar and I think he also knew that Pegs was going to get us before anyone else too...Dude must be BFFs with Brandon or someone really close to Russ - that is the only way he would know what is going down...
  14. Well to be fair he didn't say in what category... worst in points allowed, worst in sacks, worst in yardage given up, worst in 3rd down. Someone has to lead the league in the worst of categories
  15. I'm of this mind right now as well...All of the bad habits are our culture; it's who we are - it's how the Bills do business. Bring in others from the outside, get ideas from other franchises and get some respected leadership in here...
  16. Everyone always dogs on Urbik; he is still our best RG
  17. I didn't know Rex's base D was the Prevent...
  18. Last year he was good, this year not so much. What changed? Hmmm.... I know #Badol can be controversial at times, but he has brought this up a few times this year about the players and the scheme, especially the LBs
  19. That would be the Billsian thing to do...
  20. Tyler Dunne ‏@TyDunne 3m3 minutes ago We all spend a lot of time searching for leaders in the #Bills locker room but Sammy Watkins sure sounded like one after Sunday's loss. Dunne's article on Sammy's comments today. (NOTE - Sammy must have watched the 30 for 30) http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/12/20/sammy-watkins-wants-accountability-if-youre-not-going-to-do-your-job-cut-him/ "We need to forget about anybody’s feelings," Watkins said. "We need to call people out. If I’m doing something wrong, call me out. If the line is doing something wrong or messing up, call them out. If the defense is doing something wrong, the defensive line, the secondary, call it out. Because at the end of the day, we’re doing it to win, not to get on somebody and make them feel bad. We’re grown men. This is our job. We get paid millions and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Forget the money. You’ve got to go out there each week and play for the guy next to you. Again and again, Watkins repeated that the players need to put it on themselves and "take more accountability." That could mean more film sessions, he said, so players know their job and can play at full speed. "I think everybody needs to look at themselves in the mirror — forget the coaches," Watkins said. "It’s not the coaches’ team. It’s the players’ team. And we’ve got to take over as players.” "There should be no giving up or quitting," Watkins said. "I don’t care about the calls. We’ve got to come together as a team, as a group. It’s within us. If we don’t fix it, it’ll never get fixed.”
  21. No No No. No more !@#$!ng Jets...they can have Rex and all their old $h!tty coaches back too along with IK
  22. Which is why the players look like dog $h!t; they aren't playing they are thinking while trying to play. Always a step or 2 behind... I put the article up a few spots below... Mostly the QBs
