LOL. I'll give you the top 10-15 on the planet. It simply never should have come down to him and there were other plays that were missed before that came up; it just happened that his miss was when time ran out...

Honestly, he is the last person to blame for the loss...

I have been taking a let's see and wait approach before commenting or forming an opinion (other than Oh $hit, he's a good player); all in all this is obviously a bad situation. Shady, like other players hang around the wrong crew and allow themselves to be put in bad situations in which they will more likely than not; make a poor decision. He obviously did. I don't think that anyone is naive enough to think that we should just field a team of saints (not the tem ) and people of only the highest character. We have tried that in the past (Marv era) and honestly; the great version of those players are very few and far between. You can't claim that Marv as a coach had all saints and great character people - let's face we would have ran Thurman, Bruce and Kelly out of town. The Bills have to decide that can Shady change his pattern of behavior and make a decision based off of that. The females only and non-disclosure party was presumably shut down; it still might have happened for all we know. But that was okay we need to sit him down and talk to him; explain that it is bad publicity and such and set the expectation that this can't occur in the future. Now there is this incident. How do you proceed; was this the final wake up call for him? or do you feel like you need to baby sit him even more now. A reasonable approach is that them team sits down with him and asks what changes he is going to make to prevent this from happening again - IE - dump his crew. If he can't act like an adult and describe the steps he will take to prevent it from happening again, you move on. He has to have some accountability for his actions and be responsible enough to learn and make changes. Honestly I don't see him being mature enough to make adult decisions like that. His life appears to be all about the party. Expect him to be gone a while for this. Whether or not you like cops or want to make the claim they are no different than accountants who are off duty are missing the point; they are different just like NFL players other athletes and movie stars are different. The expectations are greater, their room for error is much smaller and their life is very public; for that alone they make bank. I'm not sure this is a cut-able offense yet, but once their is a conversation with Shady, the team will know what to do (at least they should).... -

Jauron was right: it IS hard to win in the NFL!
Reed83HOF replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They were talking about this on ESPN LA on the way home tonight. Marcellus Wiley was drilling this point home; a few good signings here and there and these team just kills everyone all the time. He also talked about their shrimp receivers and the need to get a big time WR to take the top off. Doesn't think it will happen before Brady falls of the cliff. Max Kellerman was off tonight, I forgot who was filling in as co-host brought up a different take and said that with all of the front office openings the last few seasons has really depleted their front office and ability to find good players that last few seasons. There is the thought that Bellicheck can't do it all by himself and you are seeing that with the state of their roster. -
I don't think you will find any fans happy with what happened to the D. That is what kept us out of the playoffs. Regardless who the coach is it has to get better next year. In some regards I really like Rex (most players love the guy and play well for him; he is always all in and wants to win) as a coach, in other regards I can't stand him (he's stubborn and a poor game day head coach). I can guarantee that he is embarrassed with the D this year and is all-in regarding fixing it. Both Ryan's have huge egos and I would suspect that they are going to work this offseason prove the world wrong next year in regards to the criticism's being hurled at them... At least that is what I'm telling myself. I'm trying to drink some kool-aid and enjoy it before it gets pissed in again

EJ should be going and wouldn't have been an alternate if he played all season. I don't understand why the coaches didn't play him more....I mean we still don't know what we have in him
-
I am sure you will see the results with Schwartz, just like we did here. Many players said it, he puts you in a position to make plays. Our coach, I haven't heard that from the players and I don't like the results I saw. If you believe that it was Rex trying to merge his D with Schwartz's and it was Schwartz's that was bad, I have a bridge to sell you....

Utica NY is it a fine place to live?
Reed83HOF replied to BuffaloBill's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Cal Ripken Jr bought them and moved them.... Born and raised there, now live in LA (visit family every year during the holidays). There are plenty of good places to eat and it is okay to live there; cheap and affordable place to live. Can live in new Hartford or Clinton a little pricier to live, but nicer... It's like everywhere else, good parts, bad parts, cesspools and no cesspools...
