  1. I'm not trying to be a doom and gloom-er but it really seems like us and the Browns are in the same league. The problem is, is that they will be leaving it sooner than us. The injuries will pile up and we will have another excuse to maintain the status quo. We have some good talent and it is a shame....
  2. That is amazing...I'm too lazy to open the link, but this isn't from The Onion - right?
  3. There were no adjustments; just more of the same. Bootlegs, Play Actions something would have been nice. I'm too lazy to look it up now, but I do recall a lot of 49ers fans and even their GMs kid saying Roman needed to go; wondering how much was because of poor game plans, late getting calls in etc...
  4. It' such a joke we can't even tank properly; 7-9 or 8-8 forever. Come to think of it we should hire Jeff Fisher....
  5. This should happen.Woods is not a WR#2 and you lost a season...
  6. I have a feeling this may be the case and you did a good job of putting all of my thoughts together. I am very anxious to see what the 22 shows... Regardless, these are the games we have to win and find a way to win them...We have to learn, grow and start winning these games....We don't have a lot of crap teams on the schedule to mess around....
  7. I am hoping it was the nerves of being back on Balt, but I just don't know. I am somewhat sure Roman didn't tell him not to go deep... Rex's Comments: "I think we did lead the league in vertical passes last year, so we're trying to do that, but you've got to have protection. It starts with protection. And quite honestly, they got after us pretty good in those situations. "We've been trying to tell Tyrod to believe in your protection, let it hold up and make them pay. We had a big drop, an uncharacteristic drop by Sammy (Watkins) on that one. That's what we're trying to get him to do. We're trying to get him to throw it down the field, hold up protection-wise without him taking off all the time. He did make a couple of good runs and made some good plays. We just weren't consistent. "I think it starts with protection. A lot of times it starts and ends with protection. We have the ability on the outside. It's tough, though. You have players not in there, Cordy (Glenn)'s out in that situation, but you have to step up. At times protection held up really well, but at times I thought they got outstanding push against us." Tyrod's comments: "It was hard. The safeties were playing very deep and they were giving us everything underneath. Basically, we were taking what they were giving us throughout the game." http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2016/09/rex_ryan_tyrod_taylor_explain_why_bills_didnt_throw_deep_in_loss_to_ravens.html

  10. /Sarcasm and intentionally over the top I'm excited for the season and we can be anywhere from 7-9 to 11-5. That being said - I do truly hate hearing a goal of getting to the playoffs; the goal should always be to win it all
  11. Sigh...depressing times, our goal is to make the playoffs. The goal should always be to win the whole damn thing, but I get it winning in the NFL is hard to do.... End of the year wrap up meeting, hey guys we met our goal and got the playoffs Great year! It's too bad we were dismantled by the surprising in round one by Browns 51-3 and then they lost 100-0 against Alex Smith in the divisional round. Does getting to the playoffs really do anything for us? Other than hey, we got here at least its not 16 years anymore; it is now 21 years since we actually won a playoff game. Seems like a defeatist and slightly loser-ish type goal...
  12. Chris Trapasso ‏@ChrisTrapasso 2m2 minutes ago Chris Trapasso Retweeted Sal Capaccio Tom Donahoe as "the driving force" behind a QB draft pick = not ideal.
  13. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/eagles-chance-show-browns-cleveland-000000544.html But the personnel staff had liked one of the two players for longer than most – and that player was Wentz. The early driving force was senior director of player personnel Tom Donahoe, whose evaluation on Wentz went through the roof after the quarterback’s junior season at North Dakota State. While other NFL teams were still getting acquainted with Wentz as a first-round prospect in 2015, Donahoe had already placed an elite quarterback grade on him before the player’s senior season. It wasn’t long before the rest of the Eagles franchise came around, with Donahoe’s voice playing a pivotal role in the ear of both Roseman and team owner Jeffrey Lurie.
