  1. That is going to be the problem this year and the next few I'm afraid...the current Franchise QBs are getting older and need to be replaced soon too. We can't afford to wait...
  2. We've been having it for 20ish years now...why stop a good thing?
  3. Chris Trapasso‏ @ChrisTrapasso 1m1 minute ago Source close to situation told me "#Bears have shown the most interest it Mitchell Trubisky." If #Browns want him, they have to pick him @ 1
  4. Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 5m5 minutes ago If Browns take Garrett and SF selects Watson, Bears will probably pick Thomas
  5. Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 2m2 minutes ago Told yesterday that McCaffrey doesn't get past Carolina
  6. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000801815/article/nfl-gm-two-qbs-will-be-chosen-among-top-nine-picks "I had a general manager tell me that two quarterbacks will be taken before the Buffalo Bills pick at No. 10," said NFL Network analyst Charley Casserly. "Two quarterbacks in the top nine. That'd be a shocker." Casserly, the former Washington Redskins GM, recently polled 22 NFL clubs on the top quarterback in the draft, and most responses identified either Clemson's Deshaun Watson or North Carolina's Mitchell Trubisky.
  7. A few questions: 1.) Is that from today? 2.) Is Doug trying out for the team? or watching tape/meeting people/game planning for the draft next week? 3.) Terry looks like's blank stare really looks like he is thinking "$hit, I should have clipped him with Rex. Here is more money I have to throw away on people I am canning..." 4.) Kim is like "Yup. We messed up" 5.) The guy behind Whaley "What a dumpster fire. I should have gone to NE..."
  8. He could go to the Boston/New England area along with the former bills players...
  9. Following the press conference WGR,will be discussing why is Whaley still employed until 7pm Nope it is Dareus and Cyrus....
  10. He had it with Ralph in charge too... I like your thinking...
  11. Entirely agree, but let me ask you this - How Bills-y would it be to do something like that? If you were going to get rid of him - why would you let him sign FAs, sit in on the hiring of a new HC, set-up the draft board, go on scouting trips or anything? Why waste the time and money? Why not hire the replacement and let them take care of this instead of crippling the franchise for another year? It makes no sense whatsoever, why would anyone ask this question?
  12. Scouts are let go after the draft; when their contracts expire. GMs are show the door at the end of December along with HCs. Why would you keep a GM who you want to fire and let him handle the current draft?
  13. No hijacking the thread, but how is Whaley still employed?
  14. LOL. How many more bad lights can be cast upon us? One more isn't going to make a difference
  15. Can't we all just get along? They are both bad. This is like picking one to be the cream of the crap....
  16. Josh Norris‏Verified account @JoshNorris 15m15 minutes ago Josh Norris Retweeted Cian Fahey "Kizer’s footwork is special. His feet are always balanced and patient but he knows when to make decisive movements." http://presnapreads.com/2017/04/12/evaluating-quarterback-prospects-mitchell-trubisky-and-deshaun-watson/ A few tidbits: "Yet despite the constant failures that come with being a draft analyst, there are plenty of people who will try to teach you how to scout. As if there is some formula that works perfectly. Michael Lombardi is one of those people. Recently Lombardi wrote his seven rules to finding a franchise quarterback on the Ringer. The article primarily focuses on mental attributes and the aesthetics. Most of what Lombardi said sounds great until you realize it can’t actually be used to proactively identify franchise quarterbacks. It relies on catchphrases and tries to examine elements of the person rather than the player. ... It’s hard to win in the NFL with a quarterback who wastes snaps. Andy Dalton, Blake Bortles and Alex Smith are some of the worst offenders when it comes to this. Tyrod Taylor and Russell Wilson are too but they offset the plays they waste by creating outside of structure more often than other quarterbacks. Wilson and Taylor are great examples of players who have some very specific flaws but those flaws exist in the minority of their performances. The 90+ percent of what they do on the field outweighs the other 10 percent.
  17. Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 2h2 hours ago People are trying to make a big deal out of the ball velocity that Watson showed at Indy. Watch the tape. Arm strength is NOT a problem!
