  1. He's like one of their best ones
  2. are you kidding me? Jayson Stark‏Verified account @jaysonst 9m9 minutes ago For 17 yrs I've had a dream job covering baseball for ESPN. Today is my last day. Thanks to all the great people at ESPN, MLB & all of you!
  3. It really is; they should be getting paid a lot more $$$ than they do...
  4. A big TE who can pass block and create mismatches is any QBs friend; although you do have a point about TT. Just remember TT is stop-gap/bridge QB. A great TE is a young QBs best friend (well it should be at least)
  5. 26CB has this up in the Trubisky thread...It's a decent read... @TyDunne What do the defensive coordinators who faced Mitchell Trubisky think? One sees a potential MVP. More on the QB here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/tyler-dunne-bleacher-report/dc-on-mitchell-trubisky-he-can-be-a-super-bowl-winner-and-a-nfl-mvp/514035245652392/ @ChaseGoodbread Mayock on Trubisky: "The irony is, he's played the least (among top QBs) but he'll probably be the first one ready to play."
  6. Pegs is learning at least. It only took him 2 years of Rex to find out what HC leadership traits are...
  7. It's getting close. Richie, Woods, Kyle, Hughes aren't getting any younger. We had a window in 2014ish, but it is rapidly closing
  8. Well when Brady takes a 2 step drop and the ball is immediately gone, I guess it does make the OL look a lot better than it is...
  9. And split Howard out as well, or just go 2 TEs and smash the ball I love the offense configurations we can have. Plus Clay's back seems to be a bit suspect and when his contract is up in 2 seasons he won't be back...
  10. If the Browns/Rams/Jags/Jets/Bears/49ers/Chargers don't need a can't miss QB of course...
  11. I like him a lot and he will be good for a new QB that we really need to draft at some point (not sure I'd trade up in RD1 for a QB this year, but I would try to hop back in rd1 for the pick of the litter if they fall). Like Pats did with Hernandez & Gronk and tried to replicate this year with Bennett and Gronk? Special elite talent is what you should go after when you draft high...
  12. Ian Rapoport‏Verified account @RapSheet 3m3 minutes ago If Deshaun Watson is there in late 1, keep an eye on the #Texans. His visit was overwhelmingly positive for all. He loved it, team did, too.
  13. TT is 27 and he did play well that game; it is only one game. I know many say he has only been starting for 2 years, but he has been in the league long enough to have some development - year 1 and 2 are not that much different in terms of his limitations. I went into last season hopeful with him, but he has not just progressed and overcome the issues he had in year one - it's just not good enough and very unlikely that he will all of a sudden blossom this year and those limitations are gone. At best he will not lose you games, but won't win you any. You will have 10-6 maybe 11-5 record and out very quickly in the playoffs - see KC. JP did not deserve the following season; his warts were out there for all to see as well. The only point I was trying to make is based on your comment on one-game you are ready to give him another year; JP had a good game once too and sucked the rest of the season.
  14. I was messing around (sarcasm). We are in a bad spot; not bad enough to get the top ones and no team will trade out of #1 when a Luck is there. It is a gamble, but if you feel good enough about someone, you have to pull the trigger. This is a position that is highly over-scouted and difficult to project success, no sure things. QBs are pushed way up the board all the time. Sometimes you do get lucky with a 2-4th rounder, but that is the exception to the rule. At the end of the day a top rated, CB, LB, WR, OL,DE/DT will only go as far as your QB takes - see Houston, KC. Indy is an exception since their GM was just awful...
  15. John Wawrow‏Verified account @john_wawrow 57s57 seconds ago On the #Bills draft front, informed team still finalizing its board.

  17. Tyler Brooke‏Verified account @TylerDBrooke Hearing that the Colts are considering trading up into the Top 10. Apparently they're thinking long and hard about Christian McCaffrey. Truth!
  18. Of course! This is the entire problem if you kept Whaley and he ends up getting clipped. Unless of course you bring in someone from Carolina or otherwise has ties to McD. Carolina is not really one of those teams where you poach from their FO though...
  19. Hey I was in favor of chopping him with Rex and burn it all down - it was a great opportunity to do just that. What you are suggesting in 2019 is the most likely outcome; unless of course a horseshoe and a field of 4 leaf clovers are falling out of our asses at the same time we fart a rainbow and leprechaun out.
