  1. Ryan Talbot‏Verified account @RyanTalbotBills Report: Former #Bills WR Anquan Boldin willing to come out of retirement to play for #Patriots http://bit.ly/2iT7hVe #BillsMafia "a report from Ben Volin of the Boston Globe says that Boldin is willing to play again this season for a more competitive team. According to Volin, Boldin has interest in coming out of retirement to play for the New England Patriots."
  2. Which is the correct thing to do. I really would have started with the older guys like Hughes and Shady this year and purged even more, but this approach is fine too. FWIW, I disliked getting rid of Sammy, but I get it
  3. For the win: YardsPerPass‏ @YardsPerPass 5m5 minutes ago Brandon Beane is like that new girlfriend that goes through your house throwing out everything that your ex ever got for you
  4. Ian Rapoport‏Verified account @RapSheet 1m1 minute ago Unexpected move: The #Bills just cut RB Jonathan Williams, source said. Productive player, was slated to be their No. 2 RB at one point.
  5. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the offense will feel like the Bills of the 21st century that we are used to - Putrid
  6. Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter Updated trade: Turns out that Buffalo traded CB Kevon Seymour to the Carolina Panthers for WR Kaelin Clay, per source.

Edit: Update: Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter Updated trade: Turns out that Buffalo traded CB Kevon Seymour to the Carolina Panthers for WR Kaelin Clay, per source. Update again: Sal Capaccio 🏈‏Verified account @SalSports Bills also get Panther's 2019 seventh round pick along with WR Clay for Seymour.
  8. Because we are going to dink and dunk our way towards a punt on the 45 yrd line while on offense this year; so our defensive minded coach can try to play the game of field field position and settle for FGs....
  9. So Bills like; teams don't let franchise QBs go in this era. They would be idiots if they did with the way the rules currently are. If a QB is available, he isn't a franchise guy. The AFC SB QBs are Ben, Lady and Peyton. Flacco gets in because that Balt D.
  10. Not gonna lie; this is also in the back of my head. We will see how the season plays out, but the parallels are there. I have been duped by this team too long and I am a highly skeptical fan at this point. I still don't see a true personnel guy on this team and that is concerning...
  11. Provided the teams that are up there don't need a qb - this is how you end up with JP. Point being many on here just assume that if you have the picks (currency) teams who have a worse record than us will pass up on franchise QBs to take our extra picks. If you look at the teams who will most likely finish worse than us, all need a QB. You cannot simply just assume that we will be able to make a trade. Besides if you really want the QB, pull a Colts and get as close to the top as you can and hope the QBs don't suck that year in the NCAA or decide to stay for their senior year.
  12. Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 10m10 minutes ago Granted it's only been a few months of Beane-McDermott but I feel this is the best group of decision makers in Buffalo in almost 20 years 1 reply 1 retweet 4 likes
  13. I was shocked and upset with the Sammy trade - 24 yrs old and a lot of potential - good player to build around. Now that the shock has worn off a bit, I hope we sell some of the older vets as well. Honestly I would have started selling the older guys before Darby and Sammy, but it is what it is. I am really okay with bottoming out for a year or 2 to clean everything up...
  14. The third down conversion part of the article really stood out to me - very true. It made me replay more than a few of our games against them in my head...
  15. Hot take - Rams will have a better record than us
  16. This is a good article that sums up where I am as a fan. This part made me laugh: "McDermott when asked if he needed to be convinced of the moves pivoted to points about how these are difficult decisions. He had the same tone as a season ticket holder with a Watkins jersey."
  17. I could have sworn we tried the all great character guy thing in the past...these 17 years have been a blur
