  1. The best advice is to pick the one that looks best to you and has the features that mean the most to you. TVs move so fast now, they are "obsolete" within a year anyways; the truth is is that they are all pretty damn good and I like the way the Sony TVs work with my PS; I also really wanted a 3D set. The differences in the top of the line sets are generally minuscule and really don't mean that much either. The only thing I like on the 740e was the 75" screen, but the Z9 beat it in everything else - so it was out. I really wanted an OLED as well, and was looking at the LG G series, I just liked the Sony better and was like F - it. The G series was really pulling me in because I had it in my head I wanted the OLED and I also I just didn't want to wait for the A1e either at that point. I figured the Direct LED Backlight MasterDrive competed with the OLED enough when I looked at them side by side and that was it. On a side note, an electrician who has done work for me at work, bought the A1 and absolutely loves it. It's entirely personal and there is no perfect choice...
  2. Oddly enough that is what I paid for it last year with the Oppo . I have enough 3D movies and it was the last 3D set they were making so it pushed me in that direction as opposed to waiting for the A1E. Also with the Z9D, the software upgrades that are out the 2017/2018 sets are being pushed through in updates since it has the X1Extreme processor. At that point, yeah I ended up spending more than I wanted, but it was worth it. I figured it will be relevant enough for a few more years.... The 75" 940e was a set I was strongly looking as well, but the Z9 was that much better in my opinion. With Sony, as I'm sure you are aware, there is the Sony premium that you pay. The Samsung TVs just don't do it for me. I have one in the bedroom and it is good, but their customer service sucks. I had to have the screen and a chip replaced 10 months into its 12 month warranty... I assume you checked out AVSForum & Rtings as well?
  3. I bought the Sony Flagship Z9D last March and love it... I do however, wish that I bought the 75" instead of the 65". Once you get used to one size, you eventually want bigger... I got one helluva deal on my Sony and had an Oppo tossed in free... PS4 Pro makes a huge difference btw, even the up-scaling on non-HDR games look great. Horizon Zero Dawn and even Destiny 2 look astounding... Also, these guys are great to deal with (who I bought my Z9 from last March & got a free Oppo 203 included) https://www.valueelectronics.com
  4. None of any of this is surprising if you watch the games...
  5. And the new update: Mike Rodak‏Verified account @mikerodak FollowingFollowing @mikerodak More Mike Rodak Retweeted Mike Rodak Since 2015, the Bills have scored (FG or TD) on 28% of fourth-quarter drives when trailing by eight or fewer points. That ranks 30th. Meanwhile, 40% of such drives have ended 3-and-out, second-worst in NFL.
  6. Apparently I am the meme guy today - I apologize for that...
  7. Safe to say evolution is a touchy subject as well?
  8. Depends if the flat earth thing works out or not...JMO Especially playing in a zone scheme and not man - not a big deal
  9. Sal M's contribution: 1. Quarterback. Obviously. A couple months ago when Beane was asked if he’d personally seen the top-rated college quarterbacks play last season, his reply was, “All the ones that matter.” That was an indication that he’s not fooling around and settling for someone who may be available when the Bills are scheduled to pick in the first round in the back-to-back 21st and 22nd spots, or perhaps waiting until the second round. Beane and, I would presume, McDermott, will fall in love with one of the top four – UCLA’s Josh Rosen, USC’s Sam Darnold, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, or Wyoming’s Josh Allen – and will be exploring every opportunity to move up high enough to secure that player. I would expect that all four will find their way into the Bills’ hotel suite Thursday or Friday night, and that will be the most critical part of their evaluation in Indy. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/2018/02/27/nfl-scouting-combine-buffalo-bills-draft-prep-nfl-indianapolis/374115002/
  10. This is why stats overall have to be taken in context, the PPG, offense ranking, TD/INT ratio (overall) are good, but these honestly are the stats that matter IMO. These are the reasons I want him gone...
  11. Here is the rest of Rodhack's tweet Mike Rodak‏Verified account @mikerodak 4m4 minutes ago More Mike Rodak Retweeted Mike Rodak Overall, here are Taylor’s stats since 2015 when trailing by 8 or fewer points in 4th quarters: Win%: .167 (T-42nd, 3-15) Comp%: 53.5 (33rd) Y/A: 6.41 (28th) TD/INT: 0.6 (T-33rd) PSRT: 58.1 (35th) TD/A: 4.2% (23rd) INT/A: 7.0% (36th) FD/A: 26.8% (31st) SACK%: 9.8 (35th)
  12. Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 29s30 seconds ago Any club interested in drafting a QB this year won’t have a final grade on the QB’s for at least another 5 weeks and probably longer
  13. Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 3m3 minutes ago QB pro days are scripted events with 45-60 throws that show off the QBs strengths. We always hear about how great he was. Clubs put far more stock in a private QB workout and we don’t hear a thing about them. The way it should be Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 1m1 minute ago Chicago held a private workout with Trubisky last year and everyone involved was sworn to secrecy. Word never leaked out and there were plenty involved. The way it should be!
  14. At first I thought is was a simple troll job; I'm not so sure now... I suppose it makes sense, we have fans who trow each other through tables that are on fire, drink beer from a chick's butt crack, etc. - might as well toss a few flat earth'ers in here as well... Kinda like the people who think TT is a good QB Someone had to do it....
  15. Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe 5m5 minutes ago More Pro days are as useless as the Combine QB workouts. The real test is at a private workout that isn’t scripted. Where the player has to react to what’s going on
  16. Problem is franchise QBs don't hit FA...Keenum, Bridgwater, and even Cousins don't scream franchise QBs to me.... The question(s) then become(s) can you identify him in the draft & do you have the stones to move up and get him?
  17. I'm a Rangers fan (Hate that we are rebuilding, but like the returns we got). Hopefully Beane can pull some moves off like that... Sabres took the best they got, but it was underwhelming to say the least.... If they were considered locks, no one would even trade out of their draft position, since we all have the same need... Obviously you must a strong enough conviction to move up for a top prospect QB, next year's class looks to be horrendous from what I hear/read, that leaves hopes & scraps until 2020. It is much easier to fill our plethora of other holes in FA and other drafts. Granted this is all speculation right now...
  18. Heh...I hope he is here as well...23 years without a QB is kinda sorta a big issue. I would like to see aggressiveness and decisiveness is getting what we feel is the best one and just just sitting there hoping for someone to fall... However, this is the Bills, so I am expecting to draft a CB or a C/G/RB with our 2 first rounders....
  19. Ed Werder‏Verified account @EdwerderRFA 6m6 minutes ago More I believe the #NFL is not technically fining #Cowboys owner Jerry Jones but seeking repayment for approximately $2M in legal expenses relative to his threats to sue the league. NFL Finance Committee and other owners supported repayment allowed by bylaws in place over 2 decades.
