  1. Geoff Mosher‏Verified account @GeoffMosherNFL FollowFollow @GeoffMosherNFL Source: #Eagles offered a second-round pick for Nick Foles: " An AFC team has already offered a second-round pick for Foles, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation. The offer was proposed earlier this offseason, per the source. At the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last week, both head coach Doug Pederson and executive vice president of Howie Roseman left the door open for Foles to be traded. Pederson said in Indianapolis that he wouldn’t feel right blind-siding Foles with a trade, “if that happens,” the clearest indication that the Eagles are willing to move Foles for the right price. Teams from the AFC most commonly linked to pursuing a quarterback are the Browns, Bills, Jets and Dolphins. The Browns have two second-round picks, one of which came from the Eagles in the Carson Wentz trade, as do the Bills and Jets. The Dolphins have one second-round pick. The Browns, Jets and Dolphins could also get their new quarterbacks in the first round, especially given the position depth this year. The Browns pick first and fourth overall. The Jets pick sixth. The Dolphins pick 11th. The Bills select 21st overall, which might them more willing to deal a pick for an established quarterback. https://www.fanragsports.com/eagles/source-eagles-offered-2nd-round-pick-for-nick-foles/ Adam Caplan‏Verified account @caplannfl FollowingFollowing @caplannfl MoreIf they wind up moving Foles, that will say a lot about their belief in Nate Sudfeld. Edit - Update: Chris Mortensen‏Verified account @mortreport 3m3 minutes ago Eagles have fielded - not solicited - more than one inquiry and offer for Nick Foles. Eagles' basic answer is it's going to take more than the 1st and 4th round picks they got from Vikings for Sam Bradford. Foles is Super Bowl MVP and best insurance policy in NFL.
  2. Benjamin Allbright‏Verified account @AllbrightNFL 4m4 minutes ago Cousins last year: 64.3% 255.8 yards per game, 27 TDs 13 INTs Keenum last year: 67.6% 236.5 yards per game, 22 TDs 7 INTs (two fewer games)
  3. Benjamin Allbright‏Verified account @AllbrightNFL 23m23 minutes ago As it sits today: Cousins has Minnesota squarely in his sights, Keenum likely to Denver, McCarron likely to the Browns.
  4. I will plop this here too: • Happy Hue. This comes from an executive with a historically reliable ear to the ground: Cleveland, with four picks in the top 35 of the draft, is still exceedingly interested in signing free-agent quarterback A.J. McCarron after the trade-deadline-day debacle last fall … and then backstopping him with a rookie quarterback in the draft. I’m hearing that’s coach Hue Jackson’s preference, having coached McCarron in Cincinnati as Bengals offensive coordinator. https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/03/05/nfl-combine-2018-news-josh-rosen-shaquem-griffin-mmqb-peter-king
  5. MMQB: • Top 10? Asked several GMs/scouts/coaches for their top 10 in the draft as of today. Here’s the consensus, in an order close to this: Barkley, USC QB Sam Darnold, North Carolina State pass-rusher Bradley Chubb, Allen, Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield, UCLA QB Josh Rosen, Notre Dame G Quenton Nelson Alabama DB Minkah Fitzpatrick Ohio State CB Denzel Ward Georgia LB Roquan Smith https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/03/05/nfl-combine-2018-news-josh-rosen-shaquem-griffin-mmqb-peter-king

  7. I wouldn't even watch the season if that happened...
  8. This is where I watch for a possible misdirection - they stayed away from the top 3. They also attended the USC & UCLA game when they were playing the Chargers. I would expect that they will want to keep their cards close to the chest, much like the Bears with Trubisky last year...
  9. I think we are going to have to make 2 trades in order to get up there and get our qb... I never saw Denver as a serious consideration for him - they are on the down turn imo. Minny for win now and NYJ for $$$
  10. Jason La Canfora‏Verified account @JasonLaCanfora Hearing more and more about the Broncos and Case Keenum. The Cousins derby very likely to come down to Jets or Vikings • Happy Hue. 11. Assuming starting at the 25 yrd line; 200 passing yards = 2.67 trips to the end zone through the air; where as 300 yards = 4 trips... When you are behind in the 4th you need to get the ball in the air and push it downfield...
  12. Bills QB Watch‏ @BillsQBwatch 23m23 minutes ago In three years as Bills starter, Tyrod Taylor has failed to reach 200 yards passing in 52% of games and has never thrown for 300 yards in regulation.
  13. After Losman, not much was spent. EJ was drafted because yes we needed one, but was exacerbated by Nix's comment to the prank callers... Just thinking out loud here, but since Donahoe, it hasn't been a big priority to go up and get one. I wonder how much of that was due to incompetent and/or directive from Littman, since before the rookie cap in the draft, first round QBs cost a fortune...
  14. While the author missed on a few things - this point still remains
  15. Geoff Schwartz‏Verified account @geoffschwartz 44m44 minutes ago The Jags didn’t beat NE because of their QB. The Rams had Gurley and went 4-12 in 16. The Cowboys haven’t won **** with Elliott. Meanwhile, the Patriots and Eagles won the last two Super Bowls with running back rotations. Y’all are insane to think a RB is worth more than a QB.
