  1. And this is why we need to make the move. I am starting to feel it will take our 2-1's and a 2 this year plus a 1 next year. I really think the 1 next year is key and I hate to do it, but as Allbright tweeted last night (it is also in line with Badol's thoughts on which positions to prioritize in the draft); nothing trumps QB... Benjamin Allbright‏Verified account @AllbrightNFL 15h15 hours ago More 1. Passer 2. Pass rusher 3. Pass protector 4. Pass defender 5. Pass catcher --- Everyone else. *in order list of on-field importance/impact in modern game.
  2. Giants either have to decide to pass on their few blue chippers in Chubb, Barkley & Nelson and decide that they are okay with taking the next best. I am not sure moving up from 22 to 11 or 13 will help that much. Most likely have to go between 4-6 imo, with 7 being a little too low. Ideally moving to 4 would be ideal and then swapping with NYG
  3. Did you use a "bad" word or are you referring to the OP? I want and at the same time now...
  4. Rudolph is the hidden gem, just needs a little time behind AJ.Might want to get Foles for insurance...
  5. Was talking more of the last part of the tweet: "Low key on @WGR550 this morning he also briefly said he'll invite 2-3 guys into town as "smoke screens." Interesting."
  6. I don't recall seeing this before, but this is 3 weeks old and with a million new posts each day; I may have just forgotten... Nick Wojton‏ @Nick_Wojton Mar 1 #Bills GM Brandon Beane has said to multiple outlets that he plans to invite QB Josh Rosen to Buffalo for a pre-draft visit. Low key on @WGR550 this morning he also briefly said he'll invite 2-3 guys into town as "smoke screens." Interesting. Nick Wojton‏ @Nick_Wojton Mar 1 or maybe this is a smoke screen, too......
  7. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/02/josh_rosen_to_the_buffalo_bills_is_what_ive_heard_repeatedly_says_eric_galko.html "A year ago, the Buffalo Bills were linked to Mitch Trubisky, partially by me. (It was) confirmed many times throughout the process... Doug Whaley (was) their GM at the time in Buffalo. I was told him and part of the front office really liked Trubisky. I think that's well-founded. They were higher on Trubisky than we were, but Trubisky looks pretty good. I think it was a good decision to be aggressive towards him. Although Whaley was on board with getting Trubisky, Galko said head coach Sean McDermott decided to kick the can on adding a quarterback high in the draft. "But when Sean McDermott got there, (he) really won over a lot of that front office, a lot of that ownership group and they believed in McDermott. And McDermott believed in Tyrod Taylor and he said, 'Hey, let's kick the can on drafting a quarterback right now.' They didn't move up for Trubisky. They moved back and the Chiefs go up and get Pat Mahomes and they took Tre'Davious White, which they're definitely happy with, but they passed on basically two quarterback opportunities they had and that's not counting Deshaun Watson either..." But I think they feel they're a quarterback away from being a consistent playoff team and getting back there for many years.
  8. Well if you read whatBeane looks for in a QB, it is someone who stands in the pocket and delivers the ball, with tight accuracy and has good if not great arm strength and he is also not a fan of sandlot football. Basically if you go look for the thread, it is basically every QB but Jackson....
  9. Technically there is one other team with more draft ammo/capital than us...just saying
  10. We gotta get to 4 to give that to NYG or NYG needs enough picks to get there...I wonder if we could/will 3 team trade this with CLE
  11. Buffalo Rumbling actually did a very nice job on this.... https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2018/3/22/17151598/2018-nfl-draft-buffalo-bills-path-to-second-overall-pick-goes-through-cleveland-browns-trade Projected trade 1 Buffalo gets 4th overall pick Cleveland gets 12th overall, 53rd overall, 2019 first round pick This represents the premium the New York Jets paid to get up to the 3rd spot and locks in with the Browns’ recent strategy of picking up an extra first rounder each year. It also leaves Buffalo with picks remaining for their next blockbuster trade. Projected trade 2 Buffalo gets 2nd overall pick Giants get 4th overall and 22 overall Once again, this represents an overpayment and a premium price. The Giants get the player they covet anyway at 4th overall while picking up an extra first round pick. This is the easier of the two deals to pull off as the Giants are guaranteed one of the two players they were attempting to select.
  12. Should start a new thread saying we should trade for Watson....
  13. I have a feeling if we move up it is going to happen quickly now that NYG seem to be making moves....
  14. They also unloaded a big contract. Sweet Offers could also imply players - See Hughes, Jerry; Lawson, Shaq or even CutonaDime25 (doubtful)
