  1. Darnold/Rosen are tied for 1 for me, followed by Mayfield. I'm trying to wrap my head around Allen.... Giving picks this year doesn't bother me, I just don't want to burn the 2019 #1 since I don't expect us to be terribly good and we could use the next Bruce Smith....Of course I would burn the pick if I had to in order to secure the QB we want, I would prefer not to though Rosne & a bunch of picks to grab OL, RB, WR, LB this year and tons of cap room next year and a fully intact 2019 draft. Sign me up now!
  2. Dude this would be ideal. We would still have plenty of picks this year as well....I still wish we went to 3, but as long as it is Rosen/Mayfield I can live with it...Allen is a tough one, but I could get behind it. If he ends up sucking, I would hope we are decisive enough to quickly move on from him...
  3. Be bold and decisive and go get your guy - if you wait or try to get too cute you will get scooped...
  4. Galko update: http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/nfl-draft-rumors-news-2018-josh-rosen-baker-mayfield-seahawks-patriots/we39wjkoszkh1865uxzb1c7fp Mitchell Trubisky last year was a target of the Bills in a possible trade. Buffalo instead opted not to mortgage its future to move up and get him; it traded down and kicked the can down the road. This year, the Bills’ intention of drafting a quarterback has been clear since the middle of the regular season. They have evaluated Josh Rosen and Josh Allen, and I believe both have been considered throughout the process. Almost everyone I’ve spoken with believes the Bills will find a way to draft Allen. Assuming he doesn't go first overall, they could do it with a trade up to No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 or No. 6. Final quarterback-team predictions: Darnold-Browns, Mayfield-Jets, Allen-Bills, Rosen-Chargers, Jackson-Saints, Lauletta-Ravens, Rudolph-Jaguars, White-Dolphins, Falk-Patriots, Benkert-Bengals, Marshall’s Chase Litton-Cardinals, Memphis’ Riley Ferguson-Steelers, Toledo’s Logan Woodside-Titans, Ohio State’s JT Barrett-Seahawks, Texas Tech’s Nic Shimonk-Colts, Idaho’s Matt Linehan-Cowboys.
  5. Which is why if I were a Jets fan I would be worried about blowing it, so far your current FO has not put together a really good draft. Hard to have confidence that they get this right....
  6. It's strange this year, since there is a lot of chatter about moving around & you always know who is going #1 by now. The only thing I wouldn't expect is staying at 12 and I can see multiple viable paths for us to move up. I think Darnold is our #1 and I also see a long jam with the QBs ranked #2, #3 & #4 which is precisely is why we didn't make a move up to #3 and let the Jets have it. I think once we know what CLE will do at 1 McBeane will leap into action. Much like Dorsey said a few weeks back they had a trade worked out with us last year at 10 for Mahomes. It would not surprise me at all if we had something up our sleeve as well. I could conceivably see this: CLE will take Darnold @1 NYG will take Barkley @2 JETS will take Mayfield @3 CLE will take Chubb @4 DEN trades with BUF & we take Allen @5 Buf & CLE swap QBs and CLE picks up #22, #53 & 2019 #2 It's stupid of them to hold on at 2 for Barkley with the amount of holes they have and with a deep draft class that is rich in RBs - they are stupid to take him there. The 5th year option will be $20 million - no way I pay that to a RB. Dave G may want to move, but Mara may meddle and make them stay there, especially with the Jets picking right behind them. Would it be bad publicity for them to move back for more picks? Dumb choice to take Barkley that high IMO...
  7. I also have a hunch there might be a trade like the Chargers & Giants....CLE takes Darnold & we take Allen and swap 'em
  8. I think so too actually. There was a reason we made that late visit to Darnold...
  9. I think we can all agree with this F&*! Brady and the Cheats. I hope they have a horrible draft and the 'Phins do something stupid; I really hate both of those teams
  10. He said it when they made the trade with the Jets, no one on here wanted to listen to that though. Some are stuck on his "speak" of wanting to stay in the top 10.... “We’re still open. You know, we’ll still be open if an opportunity — the right opportunity — presents itself at (No.) 6 to move down,” Ballard said. “But right now we feel pretty good. It would have to be a pretty attractive offer for us to move away from (No.) 6 because the player we think we’re going to get.”
  11. I'm just not a Lamar guy.... If we don't get one of the 4, I'd rather wait for White...
