TREMENDOUS PICK in Wyatt Teller for the #Bills. I think he can challenge for the starting left guard job this year.

If the #Bills got 2016 Wyatt Teller, it's one of the steals of the draft. He looked like a top 50 pick then. 2017 was ok, but he needs to get that fire back. Rd 3 grade from me

#Bills really needed offensive line help. They got a nasty mauler in Wyatt Teller. I wouldn't be surprised if he's starting and protecting Josh Allen this season.

The #Bills first Virginia Tech offensive lineman picked in the fifth round since Ed Wang.

So it's a bit of an overstatement to say Siran Neal S/CB wasn't a need. (if not an outright falsehood by me) . . . Given desire to play 3-S nickel and have extra CB option. Raffy Bush and LJ McCrae are bkup S right now. Neal had 40.5 VJ - 3rd best among S at combine

The #Bills make it 4 out of 5 picks so far that are just explosive athletes. New safety Siran Neal had a 40.5-inch vertical.

Taron Johnson said he’s had no contact with the Bills until “20 minutes ago.” About as much validation as you need that people read too much into pre-draft visits and the such.

Taron Johnson says he’s played a lot inside/nickel corner, which is what #Bills have told him. #NFLDraft
That's where Lance Zierlein of NFL.com sees him fitting in.
"Johnson's lack of size will drive him into a nickel role where he appears to have the foot quickness and cover talent to handle the job," Zierlein wrote. "He has to prove that he can play with confidence in his technique rather than grabbing during the route and his draft stock could be hinging on his 40-yard dash time at the Combine. He could find an early role as a CB4 before eventually filling the nickel spot."

The quality starters drafted R5 in past 5 drafts Desmond King Jordan Howard Tyreek Hill Matt Ionnidis Grady Jarrett Jay Ajayi Stefon Diggs Telvin Smith Corey Linsley Micah Hyde Kenny Stills Ricky Wagner ~7% hit rate. If a team offers a quality starter for a 5th you say hell yes

I'd expect Johnson to play the nickel CB spot, at least to start out. Compete there with Phillip Gaines. He's much more of a zone CB according to those who have broken his game down (good scheme fit) and McDermott wants physical CBs who can tackle, which is his game.

#Bills only have 4 cornerbacks on the roster right now: Tre'Davious White, Vontae Davis, Breon Borders, and Lafayette Pitts. This is a sneaky position of need that's filled a little by Taron Johnson

The Buffalo Bills add cornerback Taron Johnson from Weber State, who won 19% of his 1-on-1s at the Senior Bowl
