He's 27 and that get's him to 31. The touches I get, he isn't going to lose effectiveness unless he ballooned while out of football which is a possibility. It's $1 million. I would push it enough to either seal it or F the Jets That's what I am feeling...and get 3 years younger at the position. Also we still aren't paying Allen at that point either, comes off the books just in time

Which is huge. Hughes is coming due next year, Shaq is up, Murphy is ? BPA and flexibility is what is needed. Good roster building right now imo
