  1. Get off my lawn... She cleaned her twitter up and it's gone now.
  2. I would extend him... Dude will get paid as an FA. I just don't see us going an extra $6 million a season for a Free Safety. Pass rushers is where I think we will spend a good chunk of change and to extend Tre, Milano, etc...
  3. The general upkeep and maintenance costs of a retractable roof in Buffalo make zero financial sense. It is either dome or no dome
  4. I am more convinced we are doing DL than anything at 9, especially if Oliver is there. We basically have no DEs under contract next season, plus we still have to replace Kyle. I love Hock, but I don't see us taking him at #9. Trade back is possible, but it depends who gets pushed down the board as the QBs get pushed up...
  5. Now look at SS: Just not sure you allocate too much more $$ at FS. Yes the cap goes up every year, but so do contracts at all positions, especially skill positions such as QB, WR, CB, DE. Need 3 full seasons... Don't forget if we don't pick up Lawson's contract, we will have no DEs under contract next year and they cost $$. the DL will be a big concern for us next season and cost us $$ and cap space. Tre will be the year after...
  6. Average FS cap allocation is $6.9 million for 2019, we are at $6.125 total and ranked the 11th highest in the league, Poyer ranks #16 on the FS list for 2019 cap dollars at $4.3 million:
  7. PFF has him as Above Average and the 45th ranked safety in the league, Hyde is good & #6. The cap space will start to go, and we have plenty of contracts expiring next year that will cost us a good chunk of space plus contracts of Milano, Tre White and so on that will be close to re-doing. You still have to be vigilant with the cap. Don't get me wrong I like Poyer and want him to stay on the team, just saying we have to be smart.
  8. LOL. What I was going for was if he was asking for too much $$$, I would choose Hyde over him. Safeties are getting paid good money in FA, in order to stay in good cap shape you can only really allocate some much cash to each position. There is also value to the cap per position group, if you overspend in one position group it cuts into what you pay others. Teams generally do not pay 2 safeties, I would choose to pay Hyde over Poyer. Now if you are able to get a team friendly deal with Poyer, by all means re-sign him, but you still have to be conscious of the $$ going out.
  9. Hughes, you need for 2-3 more years since we are very thin at that position and he is still really good (front load the contract), you can find a good safety in this draft (pretty deep IIRC), depending on how BPA goes you may end up drafting a replacement. Edit: I'm not necessarily against extending him, but I certainly wouldn't overpay him. Hyde is the better of the 2
  10. All comes down to if they want it to be year round for other events during the "gray season", if it is to be truly football only - no dome for me... When I was younger, the weather never bothered me - now it does a bit, but not enough to say I would be in favor of a dome - it makes the game too sterile IMO, elements are part of the game. I know some can and will point to low attendance in late November and December games in the last 20 some odd years, but that is a simply a function of having a $hitty team that is out of or has no chance of the playoffs, build a winner and the fans will come.
  11. Asked if he wanted a domed stadium, Terry Pegula initially said, "No," then said, "We'll see what the study says. It's all about what we think our fans want, what they would prefer."
  12. There isn't much that needs to be interpreted. Rosenhaus is on tape telling AB that he didn't even give us a number because he didn't want to go there. Borwn said Yeah don't even waste your time on the bills. Then there was a song and dance to save face and now Terry says that AB made the decision. It's pretty black and white = it fell apart because AB didn't want to come here and no $ was even given to the bills...
  13. Rosenhaus stressed that he would make the right decision for Brown’s next landing spot and used the Bills as an example of a team that he wouldn’t even negotiate with. “When the Bills called me today they said, ‘If we make the trade, what are you guys looking for?’ And I wouldn’t even give them a number because I know you’d rather not go there.” Brown added, “Yeah, don’t even waste time (on the Bills)." The audio contradicts what Rosenhaus told the NFL Network shortly after Brown joined the Raiders.
