  1. Hellboy is not even close to the same league as Seth Bullock and Al Swearengen. That is like comparing a tee-ball team to the 1927Yankees I kinda like this one better:
  2. I'll go as far as I get some of the outrage, as there seems to be a lot of hate around now. Not that it wasn't there before, but it feels more prevalent and out there than it has been in a long time and that is not right at all. You are entirely correct that comedy is supposed to push the boundaries, but that is being lost or for some reason lumped in with the crap out there.
  3. It is my favorite all-time show and I fell victim to this as a clickbate that said something like "First friends, not millennials are offended by Seinfeld" Nope they cannot distinguish the difference.... This is the main article that was referenced: https://www.bustle.com/p/these-13-jokes-from-seinfeld-are-super-offensive-now-yes-that-includes-the-soup-nazi-10191949 This falls in line with countless other comics who complain that people can't take a joke anymore.
  4. On TSW it is harmless fun, PPP stay away from there - there is nothing good there at all
  5. That one blows my mind, I never saw it before until I googled 'celeb look alikes'. Now I can't unsee it
  6. I know that sounded like a $hitty question, I was genuinely curious and being serious people are enraged about Seinfeld. Society has changed in some ways for the better and some ways for worse; comedy has taken a brunt of that. Stuff like this can be hilarious or it can be awful. I didn't see where Irv made this racial or anything like that...
  7. HA HA! They are a harmless little team... It would actually be better if the Red Sux were the $hitty team. I hate Boston
  8. I was thinking < 40, closer to 35 As a Yankees fan, I really don't mind the O's
  9. They might break that Mets record of 40 wins
  10. I'm actually curious, as I read an article today that millennials find Seinfeld extremely offensive, how old are you?
  11. Shady would have no problem setting up a party. I suppose the problem would be is that he wouldn't have met with our Scouts, GM or HC seeing that none are female (they are over 21 so that have that going for them)
  12. “I have informed Mr. Kraft and Coach Belichick that I am stepping down from my position at the Patriots,” Schiano said. “This is not the result of any one event, but rather a realization that I need to spend more time on my faith and family. I don’t want to look back years from now and wish I had done things differently. Therefore, I am taking time away from the game to recalibrate my priorities.” https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/03/28/greg-schiano-resigns-as-patriots-defensive-coordinator/ I bet he got a tug as well...or gave one (not that there is anything wrong with that)
  13. Sounds like his balls are clipped by Bidwell who seemingly loves Murray
  14. No point of having Duplicate threads.... The Athletic' is worth the subscription price, the articles have been really good for the Bills at least (NY Yankees and NY Rangers - I know, coverage isn't that great IMO). I pulled out some juicy bits.... https://theathletic.com/893205/2019/03/28/on-the-pro-day-scene-with-brandon-beane-how-the-bills-gm-plans-his-visits-and-evaluates-talent/ If Brandon Beane is at Arizona State’s pro day, that must mean the Bills are huge fans of wide receiver N’Keal Harry. In reality, Beane was staying 20 minutes down the road at the Arizona Biltmore for the NFL owners meetings. His West Coast scout was at another pro day, so Beane stepped in. “Can’t be in two places at one time,” Beane said. But Beane finds value in watching a player work in person. He gets to see how a player interacts in his environment, among his college teammates. “It’s checking another box,” Beane said. “That’s why we continue to dig. Those are the things you don’t get if you’re not here in person.” “Part of it is, what do we need?” Beane said. “Do we need to see him physically? Have we seen him enough?” “That’s how we prioritize,” Beane said. “If it’s a guy we physically need to see move, well, then somebody has to go there. But where are we at on his learning? If we’re not convinced that he can do it, while you’re there working him out, spend an hour in the meeting room with him. Can I teach him one spot? Can I get him there and he can learn it?” If a scout asks a prospect to arrange a private workout or dinner, every part of that process is a test. Can he set up a film session with the video coordinator? Can he schedule a dinner reservation? “Can he do all of that?” Beane said. “Is he going to be a pro? Some guys have everything lined up. Beane recalled his time in Carolina when he had a private visit scheduled with then-Vanderbilt wide receiver Jordan Matthews. “He had dinner reservations and we walk in, and he was sitting there waiting for us when we walked in. Some guys, you are waiting on them for 10 or 15 minutes after the reservation time. All of that kind of tells you a little bit about them. bastard - beat me to it by a minute
  15. https://www.sny.tv/giants/news/giants-discussing-josh-rosen-as-rumors-swirl-around-cardinals-plans/305723622 They have certainly discussed the possibility internally, one source said, though those talks were extremely preliminary. They don't even seem sure at the moment whether they'd prefer Rosen - the 10th overall pick a year ago -- to the quarterbacks in this year's draft
