  1. DJ on NFLN saying if Lock falls to 30, Packers will very likely take him, QB will be highest player on their board may very well take him. Favre was 35 when they took Rodgers, Rodgers is now 35 DJ likes Fant for Cheats. If you can get Fant in the 20s go for it Charles Davis great TEs in RDs2-4 don't bother trading up for TE
  2. Schrager on NFLN Oak loves Oliver at 4 and Gruden wants Josh Jacobs, might have to move up for him Mooch - thinks they will take 3 Defenders in RD1 to make up for Mack and all 3 will cost less then Mack - This is stupid IMO, so most likely what they do
  3. I'm almost positive it is a lineman; how the draft falls will dictate OL vs DL. DJ NFLN also say Q. Williams is perfect for the Jets with Leonard Williams
  4. DJ on NFLFN just said that if Murray doesn't go 1, Jets are very anxious to move back, Skins will definitely move up to #3 with a similar offer from Rams for Goff to take him. He will go lower than #4 to Oakland...
  5. Dan Jeremiah on NFLN - If Murray doesn't go #1 (which no one believes), he doesn't fall past #4. Jets are very anxious to trade back, is perfect spot for Washing to move up to grab Murray @3
  6. Schrager on NFLN, Cards not looking to sell Rosen of 60 cents on the dollar. Will take Murray, but will keep Rosen unless they can get a 1 Mooch - other teams will want Rosen to be a back up and be groomed to be the #1
  7. He just happened to be low enough and our grade on him was high enough, we felt we had no choice.
  8. When did @Logicand @common sense or is it @common sence or @CommonCents say this?
  9. It is very well put together! The board has been great here with the discussions, there have been disagreements, but not a whole lot of bs between people. I'm looking forward to all of our shock and awe when we aren't even close to what we do and get to break down the picks and what it means! Sorry I slowed down, watched an episode of deadwood with the wife while eating dinner!
  10. I'm pretty sure we are very high on Oliver and I think if Beane has a realistic shot of getting up to him, he will. At #9 I'm really thinking it is between Wilkins and Williams
  11. 100000% agree. In the past, we never looked ahead, we went for Edmunds via last year because they knew this draft was thin at LB and he was a highly rated talent who was falling. I do expect a TE in this draft I am thinking Jace is who we are looking at, he has time to groom and grow behind Kroft while we go after the talent on the lines in 1/2. I think WR is a consideration, but it is going to be weighted against the line talent. JMO
  12. I think it comes down to Oliver and the cost to move up, Wilkins or Williams
  13. NFLN total access is saying that OL works at #6 for NYG and don't see them going QB. Dave G likes to build lines OL helps Barkely and Eli last (who they want to win with)
  14. Very long Joe B article on our draft and I agree with almost all of it. It's a long read but very thorough and impressive I almost chose him in our mock for round #2, but chose C/G Eric McCoy instead
  15. There is so much crap out there right now, I figured one dump thread would work well for the small things...
  16. LOL I almost took N'keal they need a WR as well, but skill positions are loaded in next year's draft and OL is very light in that draft as well. This is the year for to grab DL/OL and you have value throughout the draft. Figured Kitk and Larry would get us through this year. Ideally I wanted to trade down from #1 to pick up more picks to fill OL/DL/CB/and WR needs... A TE works for the Cards as well... Just something for us Bills fans to be aware of since they have similar needs and are always in front of us. We may have to maneuver around them
  17. FYI Pick #28 Garret Bradbury is a Center and not aCB Pick: Eric McCoy - Center/Guard Texas A&M Reasoning: our OL sucks and is worst in the NFL 4/24/19: In surveying team sources, McCoy was mentioned as a player who enjoyed a steady rise during the draft meetings. Veteran coaches have been really impressed with McCoy and how assignment sound he is. With his high football I.Q., McCoy doesn't give coaches the typical concerns that come with rookies. McCoy also was a star of the pre-draft workouts, and team sources believe that he could be a pick in the back half of the first round and should not last long if he slips to Round 2. Some evaluators have McCoy graded higher than where they had Billy Price and Frank Ragnow last year. At the NFL Scouting Combine, McCoy was phenomenal with a great workout, a freaky 40 time, and a good round of interviews. McCoy played well for Texas A&M and decided to skip his senior year to enter the 2019 NFL Draft. He could be a plug-and-play starter at guard or center. It would be ideal for him get more powerful, but McCoy has a lot of good tape, including his performances against Clemson and Alabama last year. McCoy has strong hands and is able to control defenders when he latches on them. He has decent feel and awareness, plus is athletic. McCoy shows a nice ability to hit blocks on the perimeter, at the second level, and in the open field. In the ground game, McCoy is not a powerful pile mover and does not generate a lot of movement in the run game. Hence, he should add more functional strength for the NFL. 8/28/18: McCoy started at guard and center for the Aggies during the 2017 season after being the starter at center during his freshman year. McCoy has good size to him, and his run blocking is ahead of his pass protection. For the NFL, he could fit as a guard or a center.
