  1. I'm not convinced, like the athlete, but not enough time at learning his craft in the TE position. It just feels like a 3yr project. He was my late pick if we entirely missed the TEs. I was hoping for someone with more reps...
  2. Athleticism is good, but he needs a lot of work IMO. He has hardly played and hasn't had a lot of time to grow and learn the position, definitely a long term pick IMO. In any event he is a Bill - so Go Bills and hopefully he turns out well!
  3. He is so raw, I'm not holding my breath we can develop a TE. I hope we do, but skeptical...
  4. Beane admitted that is why they took him. They had him rated higher on their board and felt the TE depth was still there, Knox was the last one they had before a big dropoff happened; that was my issue. At that point, I would have sacrificed RB for TE, since RBs are much easier to find with less time required to develop them. Knox is a great athlete, but very very raw.
  5. Smith & Sterberger we were, we took an RB right before Sternberger went. I just don't like a 3rd on RB, they are easier to find and can get playing much quicker. TEs take awhile to develop and we took a very very raw prospect who needs a lot of work to develop due to his limited production. The athletic profile is great and I get it.
  6. Meh. There were better TEs to take instead of the RB and that would be better for Allen. It's a QB league. I get the age on the RBs, but the TEs taken between us and honestly a shot in the dark with someone with very limited production is underwhelming. I like the measurables of both, but it sure sounds like Beane panicked with a RB run, made a move and missed on the TEs. Better move would have been TE IMO and then worry about RB (which are a dime a dozen, whereas TEs aren't) JMO
  7. Beane - Chose Devin because RBs were falling and it looked like there was more TE depth, and then there was a TE run, Knox was the last TE before a big drop off. Awesome
