  1. We have plenty of cap room to both sign our own and address needs. I don't see Higgens as being who we want and I think if we stay put Shenault will be a consideration, pick #22 will have quite good value for CB as well, but as Beane said we need to score points. Imagine an offense where you have Smoke and Ruggs (who won't be underthrown by Josh) stretching the field for Beasley, Singletary, Knox & FA TE to work underneath in in between the levels. Ruggs = Tyreek Hill. He is an excellent run blocker, has great hands, great release, extremely fast & agile, can make contested catches, will draw safeties to him. Moving up to almost any spot from #22 is going to cost. Philly and the Raiders will be primed to move to get a WR and if one of the top 3 is there and you can move in front of them to get the guy? I would... I'm also not looking to fill a specific mold for a player, we need a blue chip/elite target who will help us score points and be a nightmare to matchup against Edit: Also we moved up in the 3rd from 86 to 77, so we didn't give it up and we kept the rest of the draft intact. It was just swapping firsts and giving up our second rounder, but in reality we lose 90 points in the trade. In real life we would give up 50 points in this trade and not use next year's #3; that was the 110% requirement Virgil placed on trades. So it would really be #22 + #56 + #86 for #15 + #77 and maybe an additional 4th in return
  2. I agree it is a deep class, but even with a deep class and their are still distinct tiers and talent levels. IMO the drop off in athletic talent from the 3 Tier 1 guys (Lamb, Jeudy & Ruggs) is more severe than the drop off from Tier 2-3. When you look in terms of what Beane drafts in RD1 explosive/athletic guys - these 3 fit the mold. Once Beane sees talent starting to drop down the board, he will snap them depending on the talent gap, much like he did with Tremaine. The idea of moving up more in RD3 is that it gives me the flexibility to look at Mims and potentially make a move for him. I am making the assumption that we address Edge in FA & something good happens at TE. Our big target in the EZ should be our TE, or 2 TEs & maybe Duke. Los Angeles, currently from the way of Utica/Syracuse
  3. With the 15th pick in the 2020 NFL draft the Denver Broncos have traded the pick to the Buffalo Bills the details are as follows: Buffalo Trades picks: #22 (780) + #54 (360) + #86 (160) + 2021 3rd Buffalo Receives picks #15 (1050) & #77(205) With pick #15 the Buffalo Bills select Henry Ruggs
  4. If he falls that low, you should really think about making a move the talent differential between him and the tier 2 guys. There is one other guy I want and he is still there. I copied you on the trade message I got this
  5. @bkep32hit me up I want that pick I wanted 13, but got tied up at work and missed out
  6. We have plenty of space this year and in future years - as of today there is $182 next year and like $355 million the following year - ya'll need to chill out with the cap space stuff - we are fine and have plenty of room to add upgrades (and pricey ones) and still sign our core guys
  7. The Bills will be interested in moving up, so please feel free to reach out
  8. There is no guarantee that Kroft will all of a sudden be able to catch passes reliably. There are younger and better models on the FA market than Olsen, Kroft & Smith. $10 million for a top TE who can catch passes is cheaper than a WR in FA; plus they are generally bigger targets as well. If, Knox does indeed develop of the next couple seasons, man it would really suck to have 2 great TEs. And don't give me Cap space nonsense, we have 23 players under contract in 2 years - we have the room and ability. Gimme 2 great TEs any day
  9. 21 years coaching 14 years w/ 10+ wins 4 seasons with 9-8 wins 18 years .500 or above and only 3 seasons under .500 2 Teams to the superbowl He made it regardless, but this helps obviously
  10. We shouldn't try to project one play who will = another player in our scheme, in our offense, with our QB. I don't care of the guy is a Micheal Thomas, Julio, Megatron, Tyreek Hill (no beating up kids), etc. I want someone who has the skills to get separation, generate YAC, has a good catch radius, soft hands (catches with his hands), able to adjust for a ball, win 50/50 matchups and has good overall speed, acceleration and agility. We need to take the best WR on our board that we have a shot at getting
  11. If you don't get a big fish; re-sign Shaq, who is better than Beasley
  12. Just looking at Minnesota - cutting Everson Griffen gets them to basically $0 in cap space and cutting Rhodes gets them to $8.1 under. Look for Linval Joseph and Reily Reiff to join Griffen & Rhodes as cuts. They could be ripe for some trades as well to clean their cap up and infuse some young talent in
  13. Foles contract is horrendous and they are stuck for like 3 more seasons with it. I do wonder if they cut Campell to save $15 million and try to funnel it to Yannick (who btw seems ready to get the hell out of there), but they are kinda tight and don't have a great team....
  14. Fair points, but it still isn't great. Also, Minny is around $12 million over and Pitts is 2 million over. I do agree that ATL has to cut very deeply to make room on a very flawed team
  15. They need to make a lot of moves for that - I have heard Alex Mack, Freeman and others. They are really tight, but they can find ways to free up money and it will hurt the overall team to do it. Their GM did say he is at pick #16 for now. For the record I expect them to draft Epenesa the Edge
  16. I think maybe 2 rounds for this version and we can add additional rounds to the next one once FA gets going and we see how this goes?
