  1. Lots of Falcons & Jaguars games. Now if your interested in Albany California you'll get the 49ers a lot. I'm not sure if they're still carrying Raiders games after the move out of Oakland.
  2. I actually plan on having a paper ticket. Ticketmaster gave me that option when I bought my opening day ticket & I took it because in 2019 I had a problem with the e-ticket at the gate. Eventually it worked but I had to go to one of the ticket kiosks & it worked, but my 1st time at the gate nobody could figure out how to bring up my ticket. This is a general question that has nothing to do with this reply: To those who went to the playoff games, what did they do at the gate for you to prove your Covid negativity? Did it take a while or were you able to go pretty fast?
  3. Subject to later in season flexing, all cable & network national night games are listed as on in Albany. It looks like 9 or 10 games plus the possibility of more depending on how the Jets are playing. Last season when the Jets were bad, the Bills were getting their games on in Albany over the Jets as the season progressed. 4. Nobody really knows how many primetime games we have. The day/time of the Carolina game hasn't been decided & there's a thing called flexing that could add another game or 2.
  5. Years ago when my mother was alive & was selling her house she booked a motel close to where the house was for the night after all the stuff got removed. She chose that one because it was reasonably priced & close by. When I read the reviews they were all about hookers & drug dealers. I told her no way we were staying there. I offered to pay for a better motel & she demanded that she pay for it but within her price range. I ended up finding a motel about a half hour away at her price that had decent reviews.
  6. I once stayed at a Red Carpet Inn around Rochester (Henrietta) when I was driving on a Saturday night to Buffalo for a game & got too tired to continue. The other motels were all booked & it was the only motel with a vacancy. I got the "deluxe" room & it was pretty bad. I can't imagine how bad the regular rooms are.
  7. That's for more than 1 seat. If anyone is looking for 1 seat, if you change the 2 seats to 1 seat on the top of the available tickets some seats are still available from the team.
  8. I'm sitting alone & still plan on having fun. I'll be seeing & staying with friends I haven't seen in 2 years & I'm hoping for a TBD tailgate, so I'll only be alone while I'm in the stadium.
  9. I started this thread so that people who wanted tickets know that they are already on sale for the opener. It was not intended to become a debate over vaccinations.
  10. My guess is that even though a state/muni can have standards, the league can override a team's decision if they don't feel it's safe, like last season when they made sure that fans were far enough away from the players.
  11. Yes, Petrino isn't vaccinated so I couldn't risk getting another ticket. I'll spend the weekend at a friend's house and we're all vaccinated. Any TBD tailgate planned?
  12. Even though they say that sales won't start until 8 tonight, I was able to buy a ticket through Ticketmaster this morning. You can go to the Bills website, go to schedule, then hit ticket purchase and review the map. There are some tickets available in sections not highlighted, so click on wherever you want to sit & see if anything is available. Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Sun • Sep 12 2021 • 1:00 PM Highmark Stadium — Orchard Park, NY Sec 115
  13. Reminds me of a date years ago with an Albany woman who asked me "What are you passionate about besides the Buffalo Bills?" I couldn't come up with a good answer. It was our last date.
  14. It's hardly as bleak as it looks for 2022. There is over $35 million in cap space used on Allen & Edmunds. Contract extensions will greatly reduce these cap numbers.
  15. He's going to be really close to his family because he is not making the Rams 53 man roster.
  16. Any idea on who the QB that the Jets will draft with a top 5 pick in 2024 is? If they can wait another year or 2 Arch Manning might be available in the 2025 or 2026 draft.
  17. He won about half his starts with the Bills. All he has to do is win 1/4 of his Houston starts & if he starts the whole season that will be enough to keep them from the #1 pick.
  18. Everyone is picking Houston as the worst team & the favorite for the #1 pick, but as we've seen here, Tyrod is just good enough to win enough games to keep them from getting the #1 pick. When Tyrod was here I used to call him a "Wheel Spinner" because he wasn't good enough to get you anywhere in the playoffs, but could keep you from being bad enough to get a top draft choice.
  19. If you feel that strongly, you can try calling him 10 times a day until he listens.
  20. This reminds me of the time I read the draft reports on a Division III record breaking QB from Mount Union College. I thought he was at worst a 3rd round pick. He went undrafted and bounced around some practice squads and in 1996 won a championship in the World League. In 1997 the Bills signed him & I was sure he was going to be the Bills starting QB for years. In August 1997 I went to the only preseason game I've ever been to because I wanted to see him play & cheer him on as the next great Bills QB. He never made the Bills 53 man roster. His name is Jim Ballard. This is him nowadays. https://ballardquarterbackacademy.com/who-we-are
  21. I heard the same thing about Brian Brohm, who a bunch of posters "saw him play in college". Please Stop.
  22. Jake Peterman is never going to make the team. Although I do admit I said this last September before the final cuts & he made the 53.
  23. When the deal 1st hit the news I looked up Rob's career in college & at Jacksonville and came to one conclusion. The 1st thing I posted here I titled the thread "Rob Johnson, the sacked man" because it was pretty evident he held on to the ball too long for his own good & had a high % of being sacked. Then I Iistened to Wade & Butler and they convinced me I was wrong and I was on Rob's side during the QB controversy. In the end it turned out my 1st impression was correct & worse than just taking sacks, he was injury prone & you never knew if he'd be available week to week.
