A few Thoughts about the Chiefs Game, in no particular order
Albany,n.y. replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
That seems to be a common take from people who only look at his stats his 1st 2 seasons & weren't watching him play. Cowherd has said the same nonsense in the past. They think they're praising his improvement but i reality, they're showing their own ignorance. Yesterday someone posted a SI column by a guy who said Josh was approaching being a bust after 2 seasons. I went nuts on the thread because there was nothing after season 2 to think Josh was a bust. -

Clowns like this Nick & the other one will probably look at Josh's sub 60% completion rate today & say he's no good. What Josh did tonight was the equivalent of an NBA player shooting 3 pointers the whole game. The yards per catch was phenominal. -

What a hack this so called columnist is. He relies on stupid stats and I'd bet he never saw Josh play his 2nd season because it was pretty obvious to those of us who watch him every week Josh was entrenched as the Bills QB. -
Staley believes that in most games he has the best player on the field in Justin Herbert & he's going to put the ball in his hands & take his chances, because he believes with Herbert his chances are pretty, pretty, good.

What they thought in 2017 of McD hire
Albany,n.y. replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in The Stadium Wall
At the time my thoughts were anyone but Anthony Lynn. The last thing I wanted was a branch off the Rex Ryan coaching tree. -
I know the Bills better than any other team & have a totally opposite viewpoint. When I thik the Bills are a lock, I bet the game. I don't bet many because everything has to be right for me to bet a football game. I've only bet 6 Bills games since they legalized sports betting & the only game I lost was when Cincinnati made a game the Bills won closer than the spread. The best business decisions are the ones you have the most information about. For me that's Bills games.

I go to the casino in Schenectady to bet football. I don't bet anything else at the casino. I'm very conservative in the number of bets I make in a season, but I bet decent amounts when I bet. I didn't bet anything in 2020 due to Covid. In 2019 I bet 5 Bills games & won 4 of them. I also bet futures on various win total overs & to reach the playoff. I won about $5,000 for the season. This year I'm 1 for 1 (bet the Miami game) & won $744. I also put future bets in on the LA Chargers to win 11 or more games (Over 10.5 wins) as well as over 9 wins at lower odds & the Bills to win the AFC.

Shady showing that Buffalove
Albany,n.y. replied to loyal2dagame's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
QBs who really light it up are playing from behind or in tight games & are making throws that a team well ahead won't make as often. So far this season, through 4 weeks the top 5 yardage QBs per week are 11-9, with 7 of the 11 wins in one score margin games. That means that 80% of the top 5 weekly QBs either lost the game or had to keep throwing to gain a slim victory. -

It looks like that shirt is based on the Wyoming Cowboys logo. Was it made to represent Josh before the 2018 draft or just after Kiper said that about Josh when he rated him the top QB in the draft (& the 10th best QB prospect of all time as of this year)? -

I've been saying for many years how meaningless QB stats are. This host proves my point that a know nothing can take QB stats & claim vastly inferior QBs are better than franchise QBs. I still remember years ago when Rob Johnson looked better on paper than Jim Kelly for clowns who don't know what they're watching. At one time Ryan Fitzpatrick was better than Andrew Luck on a stat sheet. QB STATS ARE FOR LOSERS -
At the beginning of the season I thought One & Done. Now I think he's headed to Lou Holtz & Bobby Petrino land. If we can survive Wrecks, Jacksonville can survive Suburban.

What is Wrong with Steve Belichick?
Albany,n.y. replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since he got Belichick from the Jets and rehabilitated him, maybe he'll think he can do the same with Adam Gase. I can dream, can't I? -
Thurs nite football: Jaguars at Bengals
Albany,n.y. replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh gets the TD in that situation and there no reason why Lawrence don't either. Good idea to go for it but horrible use of the QB. If you're going to play it the way Meyer did, then I agree with you. I'd rather kick a field goal than do a QB run out of shotgun from the 1. -

Nothing wrong with going for it, but if you are running a QB sneak you don't do it from shotgun. Meyer should go back to college. -

Lawrence should have been right behind the center and just gone over the top. Bad coaching. -
I don't believe Lofton lost his speed. For some reason the 1st thing to go were his hands. He started missing balls he would have caught easily just a season or 2 before.

I'm going with Trubisky-probably plays most of the 2nd half after the Bills go up 42-0. Trubisky puts up 49 & we win 91-0.
