  1. The other day I responded to a reply to one of my posts & after reading someone else replying to the same question I realized I replied with an answer that wasn't in response to what I said in the first post. I had to wipe out my reply & read my OP over again and totally change my reply.
  2. When you do you have to click" add ons" to get to parking.
  3. I've been watching ESPN's countdown show & among all the things said was when they were talking about the fact that there is a tarp over the field at Highmark because they don't want the turf to freeze & get hard which could cause concussions, Mortensen mentioned that the new stadium will have a grass field with a heating system underneath like in GB & KC. I have no idea how he knows that or thinks he knows that, but that's what he said.
  4. I'd advise you leave early & get a spot in a private lot, the stadium lots are either sold out or selling at a premium. There is only 1 parking spot at a reasonable price on StubHub! 5. I was once on a Grand Jury where we indicted a bookie. They played tapes of him taking bets. The funniest one was from a degenerate gambler who sounded like he'd bet on anything. When he made his bet on some obscure college the bookie told him "If you can tell me where that college is, I'll pay you right now."
  6. The intro offer is only in NY, so you can't participate. They're also very strict on the "you have to be physically in NY" stuff. They have to be able to establish where you are betting from. Their locator works on my cell phone but it doesn't work on my desktop, laptop, or Kindle (incompatable with device), even after I downloaded their locator software on my desktop & laptop. So I have to make all my bets on my cell phone.
  7. They've had betting on games at Met Life next door at the Meadowlands racetrack on gamedays since they legalized sports betting in NJ. The only difference was that you had to put your bet in before the game. If you were a NJ resident & signed up for their online betting you can use your phone in the stadium the whole game. The only difference with the sportsbook in the stadium is you can bet without an account.
  8. If you put $20 in you can bet $340 ($300 bonus + $20 match + $20 deposit). That's not a bad deal for $20.
  9. They are matching up to $3,000 but there are a couple of problems with the match. It has to be used within 30 days. Now I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but you might have to wager around 6K to use it within 30 days. Here's my experience: When I signed up I got $300, then I had to deposit money to get the match. I chose $1,000 as my deposit. When I reviewed my account the money was divided into 2 groups Cash Balance and Bonus Balance. I had $1,000 in cash balance & $1,300 in bonus balance. Then I bet $50 and my cash balance went down to $950. I may or may not have been correct, but I was under the impression that I had to wager the entire bonus, so I bet $1,300 on the Giants game. When I looked at my account it read Cash Balance $0, Bonus Balance $950. I then bet the $950 in 2 different wagers on the Bills game (I split it & broke even). After I won 2 of the 3 bets all my money was in cash balance. I had bet the night game after I won the Giants game, the money went in my account within 10 minutes after the game. Since I bet it all, all my winnings went into cash balance. My concern with putting $3,000 in is there will be $3,300 in the bonus balance column. If you win & continue to have money in the cash balance and they withdraw all bet money from the cash balance 1st, you may never reach the bonus balance money within 30 days. In my case I had to use up the cash balance before it went to the bonus balance. Now I saw somewhere there might be a button on their site to use the bonus balance to bet, but I didn't find it. If my experience is indicative, the person who gets a $3,000 bonus better be a high roller. Now the answer may be to make a withdrawal that will come out of the cash balance. I ended up withdrawing $2,500 and it was in my bank account Thursday morning. I imagine you can withdraw the cash and get to the bonus balance that way. For anyone interested in opening an account I'd recommend Caesars because you get the best intro deal. There are no others that grow the account like you can with Caesars before your 1st bet. Fan Duel has a risk free bet up to $1,000 but you have to bet your own $1,000 and if you lose they give you a bet credit of what you bet, so unlike Caesars, you only get the bonus if your bet loses. For example, I put in $1,000 & I had $2,300 to bet. With FD, you only have $1,000, plus whatever their signing bonus is, if there is one, to bet.
  10. I got an e-mail from a local bus company that they had 7 seats in the 300s left at half price: $99.50. If the weather was warmer & there wasn't 10+ hour round trip in a packed bus with Omicron running rampant, I might have considered it. Instead, I'm staying home in my warm living room with no possible exposure to Omicron. .
  11. I just finished watching The Belichick Legacy, it was mainly Bill taking about his father.
  12. I used to bring a small TV (2-3") to games back in the 1990s & 2000s. Digital TV ended that for me. The reason he & I brought our TVs was because there were no replays on the scoreboard for years.
  13. Two really good specials were one with Bill Parcells & Bill Belichick where they meet in the Meadowlands and do an interview together and another one with him & Nick Saban. I just found "The Belichick Legacy" on YouTube but I don't have time now to watch it, but I will later:
  14. I was going to do 14 lines, but you beat me to the punch.
  15. What's with no radios? They used to have 2 radio broadcast so that fans could listen to the game from their seats in real time while the traditional broadcast was in synch with the TV broadcast. I used to bring a radio into the stadium & listen to it during the game when I had seasons.
  16. That's the problem. The networks love to show places like Buffalo & Green Bay in the worst weather conditions. They don't care about the average fans in the stands, they're looking to show the shirtless guys and have the announcers yuck it up while they sit in their nice warm broadcast booth. Best way to get the coldest weather: schedule the game at night. The bathrooms will be packed at halftime. I remember games I've been to where the person next to me would disappear for a long stretch & when he got back he'd say he went in the bathroom to warm up.
  17. What does he have up his sleeve? 2 plane tickets to the Bahamas leaving from Boston next Wednesday morning after all the 2021 season goodbyes are finished. .
  18. The original trade was with Denver to move up to 5. 12, 22, & their 1st 2nd rounder. It was worked out before the day of the draft. It was contingent on Chubb not being there at 5 for Denver. The good news was that when that fell through and Denver picked Chubb the Bills then still had draft capital at a lower cost to move to 7. They didn't want to have to use their 2019 1st because they figured they'd be taking a step back & didn't want to give up a 2019 top 10 pick. One of the key reasons they were able to set their sights on #5 or lower was they figured one of their top 3 QBs would be there at 5. The board released to WGR before the draft had the trade to Denver & its terms on there with Josh #1, Darnold 2nd & Mayfield 3rd. The Bills were willing to trade to 5 for any of the 3 and because it was almost certain that one of those 3 would be there since the Giants were in win now mode with Manning (pretty bizare thinking with the #2 pick & an aging QB, but that's why Gettleman had to "retire" on Monday) and Cleveland wasn't drating 2 QBs, so they would be able to get a QB at 5, While they definitely liked Josh the best, they were willing to settle for Mayfield or Darnold. Fortunately the didn't have to. Really once Mayfield was picked at one, the Bills had a clear path to Josh since it was pretty well known that if Mayfield went #1, Darnold was going to the Jets. The Giants could have squeezed the Jets to trade up a spot but didn't.
  19. If they had traded both 1sts to move up to 12, it wouldn't have fit their plan. Remember, the original trade was their 2 1sts (12 & 22) and a 2nd to move up to 5 (Denver). They were afraid that the Arizona & Tampa GMs were close friends & that Arizona would beat the Bills out for #7, so there was no way 21 & 22 for 12 was going to happen because they still wanted to trade up & they wanted to keep 22 and still get to 12 in case 22 was needed to trade up with. The Bills overpaid Tampa on the points board because they knew Arizona wanted Josh Allen & viewed them as direct competition in any trade up scenario.
  20. I wrote him off when I saw him punt on 4th & short inside the opponent's 50 in preseason. If he's gutless in preseason, it translates into the QB sneak on 3rd & 9. Played for the punt in preseason, played for the punt in his final game.
  21. I had futures on the Chargers this year (pushed the over 9, lost the over 10.5) and I watched more Chargers games than what I'd usually see. Staley has made some pretty bizarre decisions this season, like going for 4th down deep in his own territory, going for it on 4th down instead of kicking field goals etc. I understood early in the season when he had a kicker he didn't trust, but when they improved the position he still did the same things. It was very frustrating watching him cost a game by being so unconventional. By the time they played the Raiders I was pretty convinced I couldn't trust him to get me a 10th win & I almost expected him to blow it, which I believe he did with the crazy 4th from their own 20. .
  22. I thought of the draft too when I saw the OP. The problem with people using analytics in player evaluation is they're applying statistics to performances that are much better understood by looking at film. The analytics people in the media predicted Josh's future with a bunch of numbers & maybe watching a few clips or remember watching some games. The Bills watched every play on film, were at at least 3 workouts (Combine, in Wyoming, in Orchard Park), had multiple meetings with him and talked to his coaches. By watching film or going to a game, they were able to put his numbers in the proper context. One of the things Beane mentioned after drafting Josh was a game played in horrible weather where Josh's statistics looked bad on paper, but on the field he willed the team to victory. Analytics without a visual review of the games is not a viable way to scout players. Unfortunately, the so called draft experts in the media who criticize a high pick without doing the due diligence that the drafting team does will never really get it. It took Schopp years to figure Josh was the real deal.
  23. A disgruntled fan not only put a bag over his head and wrote on it Joe Judge Fan Club, but he added an empty Pepsi bottle to mock the team for its rewarding their season ticket holders with a free Pepsi at a recent game.
