  1. Giants: Terminated the contract of WR Robert Foster with an injury settlement, per the NFL transaction wire.
  2. Interesting. Miami opens the season against NE & the new chef at the Dolphins' facility has a striking resemblance to Bill Belichick.
  3. I remember in Josh's 1st 2 seasons people were getting on his case because of his completion % and I'd watch other teams with #1 WRs making plays and thought that if the WR I just watched make the QB look good was on the Bills, nobody would be criticizing Josh. A #1 WR makes things a lot more comfortable for the QB.
  4. Giants: Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to play in the NFL after being cut by the Bills.
  5. So PFF doesn't know what they're talking about. I guess that's not a big surprise.
  6. Makes sense to get rid of Howard. From the OP's attachment TE O.J. HOWARD, BUFFALO BILLS It was notable to see tight end Quintin Morris, not Howard, start in place of Dawson Knox in Buffalo's Week 2 preseason matchup, which Knox missed to be with his family after the tragic death of his younger brother. Next off the bench was Tommy Sweeney. Then Howard got reps. Morris played seven snaps in the first quarter, while Sweeney received three snaps and Howard was on the field for just one play in the opening quarter. It wasn’t ultimately all that shocking, however, since PFF was told by a source earlier in the week after Jalen Wydermyer was released that Buffalo believed Morris was one of their most improved players this offseason. That source believed Morris could push Howard, who was identified as a training camp “faller” for a piece earlier this month, off the roster. Morris, a 2021 undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green, boasts a 77.8 PFF grade through two preseason games. He has good size at 6-foot-2, 252 pounds and ran a 4.66-second 40-yard dash last spring. Sweeney has earned a 73.0 mark, while Howard has garnered a 59.6 grade and has played more preseason snaps than Morris and Sweeney. The Bills would save $2.25 million if they traded or released Howard.
  7. At this point I can easily see Howard getting cut.
  8. It's very easy to get around the 8/31 IR thing by cutting a veteran who is not subject to waivers & then putting Tre on IR & bringing the cut guy back. They did this last season cutting Reid Ferguson & he might be willing to do it again.
  9. Drafted before Beane left Carolina.
  10. These are HOFer Bill Polian's picks as Bills GM. Every GM has his share of misses. Note the misses in bold among the 1st 5 picks. 11. I remember one of those re-draft columns written after the 2018 season had Foster going mid 1st round. This might be a good thing for Foster, instead of getting cut & making no money this season, he'll either make the league minimum or get paid some $ in an injury settlement.
  12. Stories like this makes me glad I don't have Spectrum anymore. 4 years ago they sold me on the idea of switching & saving $50 a month for basically the same things I had with Verizon. Within 2 years my bill went up by about $100/month and they took away EPIX and most importantly the NFL Redzone channel. I could get them back for more $ if I wanted and make my inflated bill even higher. It was during the height of the pandemic & Verizon wasn't coming into houses, so I had to wait. By September 2020 Verizon was back to coming into homes & I switched back to Verizon for about what I was paying when I had switched 2 years before. I got EPIX and the NFL Redzone back and a better DVR with more capacity & all through the house instead of 1 room that Spectrum had. In 2 years my bill has gone up less than $10/month. I'll never use Spectrum again.
  13. Do you get the replays that they show all through the week of games already played, or are they blacking them out too? Since the NFL Network usually shows other games when the blackout a game it sounds like it's your local Spectrum provider. Here's a guess: Your local Spectrum franchisee found out that NFL Network is charging an addition fee because they are showing all these preseason games & opted out of the games for a lower fee.
  14. Either your cable provider is screwing up or the station you think is the NFL Network isn't the NFL Network. What are they showing in place of the live games? Here in Albany we get local preseason broadcasts of Bills & Giants games & on NFL Network they show a different game. A week ago they showed a tape of a prior game when the Bills game was on. Yesterday, we got the live broadcast of the Colts vs Lions game while the Bills game was on the local Fox station.
  15. I was a big get rid of Moss guy until I watched him this preseason. He isn't going anywhere & maybe it was that he was injured all of last season. He stays. I'd like to see them find a way to keep Blackshear, but it won't be at Moss' expense. I can see the all the Giants 3rd day picks going to Buffalo for a bunch of players. 😀
  16. That means we'll be facing Walker & possinly Mayfield or Darnold on Friday. https://www.catscratchreader.com/2022/8/20/23314521/matt-corral-likely-to-miss-the-entire-2022-season-due-to-lisfranc-injury-carolina-panthers Matt Corral likely to miss the entire 2022 season due to Lisfranc injury The quarterback left early during Friday’s game with an apparent foot injury. It will likely end his season.
  17. It was always meant to be a joke by the guy who started it.
  18. It's a lot cheaper to print it on a B&W printer at home. Paper only costs around $5 bucks if you buy it in bulk. Even if you use most of a toner cartridge the brand name is $70 & the discount around $30. So using the cheapest toner & paper it comes in less than $35, or less than $75 using original toner cartridges. I'm still not going to print it because as Dr. Rick from Progressive says "You don't need to print the internet."
  19. How much would they charge for a single copy? It's almost 400 pages.
  20. They're all free. Unfortunately for old guys like me who used to collect the printed copies, there is no option to buy one. I guess if I really wanted to I could do what i did in 2009 when I printed out the disk the Bills sent me when I used to have seasons. I realized how much paper & toner I wasted & never did that again. I have printed stuff like the Bills pages in the NFL Record and Fact Book and the schedule, but other than that, it's too much printing. Now if I wasn't retired & still worked in an office...
  21. I don't think they've printed one in years. The last printed one I have is from 2008. I have a half a shelf of Bills media guides from the old printing days. Same thing is true for the NFL Record and Fact Guide which printed for the last time in 2014. Here's a link to that publication, free from the NFL website. https://static.www.nfl.com/image/upload/league/apps/league-site/media-guides/2022/2022_NFL_Record_and_Fact_Book.pdf Please let all the women in front of that line.
