Until I'm in the stands at the Super Bowl & they're handing the Lombardi Trophy to the Bills management, they aren't topping the days when the Bills went to 4 straight Super Bowls for me. I was at all 4 of them & at the time each day was the greatest day ever to be a Bills fan to me. Especially when we were leading at halftime in Super bowl XXLIII and I thought I was finally going to see them win one. As far as opening days go, the greatest opening day was in 1980 when the Bills beat the Dolphins & the goalposts came down-ON OPENING DAY! It's the only time I've ever been on the field, although I went nowhere near the goalposts as they were being torn down.

I've never bought into the claim that player A wouldn't have thrived or player B would have thrived in a different environment. The only way i can buy that is if obscure players like Tom Brady or Kurt Warner ended up never getting a chance to play and became an afterthought around the league. The great ones will always go above & beyond to work on their game & if the team isn't developing them properly, or even if they are, they'll go outside the organization & work with someone not affiliated with the team. Many NFL QBs work with other QB coaches in the offseason. Eventually, bad coaching or not, great coaching or not, the cream rises to the top & the sludge to the bottom.

2 of the 5 teams can be excused: Colts had Luck & had no idea 2018 would be his last season, so they went O-line to protect him & Cleveland at 4 wasn't going to take another QB, so the teams that messed up were 1) Cleveland-There were rumors that the team management was split between Josh & Mayfield, but because of analytics & statistics, Mayfield was the choice 2) NY Giants-Gettleman made the choice that basically ended his career. Instead of doing the smart thing & preparing for the future, he felt he could still win with a fading Eli Manning. Even though he made a big mistake picking Barkley, he could have chosen Rosen or Darnold and he'd still be sitting at home like he currently is. 3) NY Jets-Since the Colts had no reason to think they'd need a QB, they got a nice ransom from the Jets to move down 3 spots & get the player they wanted-Nelson. Then when the Jets were on the clock, with Mayfield gone they went to their other top choice Darnold. Most pundits agreed that Darnold was a safe pick compared to Allen. Their GM, Maccagnan was gone within a year. At the time, the jury was out on Darnold. 4) Cleveland-they weren't taking another QB, although if they had thought about it, they could have taken Josh & had the Bills & Cardinals get into a bidding war. But when they couldn't trade the pick they went for Ward instead of Chubb because they had drafted D-Line #1 the year before. 5) Denver-They loved Chubb and had no desire to draft a QB, in spite of the fact they needed one & instead put all their chips on current Bills backup Case Keenum. The fact they had no interest in a QB became obvious when it was later revealed by Beane that he had a deal worked with Denver to draft Josh at 5 but Denver backed out because they wanted Chubb & were all in on Chubb when Cleveland let him slide to #5. 6) Indianapolis-They had Luck and wanted Nelson 7)Tampa Bay-A great trade for both teams as Tampa used the picks from the Bills to help build a Super bowl winner & the Bills got Josh. It's interesting to note that the only GM who still is the GM of the teams that passed on Josh is Indianapolis' Chris Ballard. All of the others quit, got fired or were pushed upstairs. The same is true of the head coaches, all of whom were fired except Indy's brand new coach in 2018 Frank Reich.

He already signed a multimillion $ contract to join Fox as an announcer when he retires. $375 million Brady recently signed a 10-year deal with Fox Sports for $375 million to be a lead NFL analyst on-air, although that won't start until he's finished playing.

Lamar is a football player, not a financial expert. He majored in communications, not business or economics. Agents are specialists who understand contracts & economics. He is being foolish to try to save 3% unlike almost all the other guys in the league do because they understand that an expert can get them more than the 3% difference than they can get themselves. Eventually Lamar will get a big contract but in the meantime, he's giving up a ton of present day dollars. Agents understand the time value of money theory, knowing a dollar today is worth more than a dollar in the future. Josh's agent got Josh more than 45 million in present day dollars over what he would have made in 2021 & 2022. Those present day dollars, if they are invested corrrectly, combined with the remainder of Josh's contract will be worth more even if Lamar gets a bigger contract starting in 2023 because Lamar has played last year on his rookie contract and this year on his 5th year option, while Josh already has 10s of millions more already in his hands. If Lamar had an agent, he would have received a contract similar to Josh's last year and now it will take him years to catch up with Josh, if he ever does. Even though he will sign a bigger contract, he's already lost 2 years of a higher income. .

Star & Butler aren't on any rosters. Same for D. Williams. Upgrades on both sides of the line.

Next time you want to hear the postgame just go to a regular computer & go to WGR's website. I heard the entire postgame show on a laptop computer because I went to their site & did not use the app on a phone or other android.

What are you guys talking about? I went on a laptop & had the final minutes of the broadcast & the full postgame show that went from the end of the game to 1:10 AM. Now I know I haven't been able to listen to the game broadcast on an android in the past, but I have gotten the postgame on an android before. Next time if you're having problems just go to WGR550.com on a computer & it's always there. I've never had any problems getting the WGR postgame show on a real computer.

When we drafted Josh, Aikman said he's studied QBs for 17 years and you don't improve accuracy. Now he's up to 21 years & may have had to change his mind. I guess 17 years were too few for Aikman to know QBs.

On the NFL Network they showed Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson talking with Terry Bradshaw & the announcer said All the stars are out tonight, there's The Rock. She never mentioned Terry Bradshaw.

Starting to look like the 2nd coming of Sam Darnold. Darnold has missed 3,3,4,5 and is out 4-6 already this season. Wilson missed 3 last year & at least 3 more this year. When a young QB keeps getting injured, you don't know whether he's the next Phil Simms, who after some early career injuries put together a string of durable years & could be counted on as the Giants starter, or if he's the next Rob Johnson who would get continuously injured and you could never count on him. It also messes up a team's ability to properly evaluate him whether he's the QB of the future or you need to move on. The Jets wasted 3 years with Darnold & Carolina was dumb enough to trade for him & give him the 5th year option.

You mean one of these? My nephew has season tickets to the Golden State Warriors in SF & he drops everyone off, parks some blocks away & comes back on a scooter. After the game he gets the scooter back from the scooter storage area in the arena & goes back & gets the car & picks us up a couple of blocks from the arena. Saves a lot on parking.

These two are among the worst head coaches ever. BB is not resigning & handing things over to either one of these incompetent boobs. The reason he brought them back is he likes them & knows he can push them around and they'll take it because they have no choice. That's probably the main reason why he likes them.

I bet the Bills to win the AFC at +425 back in February. They're now + 300. I didn't bet them to win the Super Bowl because my goal was to create a Super Bowl ticket fund.

That's true with most head coaches. They're nothing special until a franchise QB lands in their lap & they ride that QB to fame & fortune. Think of these guys without their QB: Marv-Kelly Belichick-Brady Walsh-Montana Shula-Marino, Griese Grant-Tarkinton J.Johnson-Aikman, Marino Ewbank-Unitas, Namath Landry-Staubach Noll-Bradshaw Dungy-P. Manning Coughlin-E. Manning Lombardi-Starr Payton-Brees Tomlin-Roethlisberger Guys like Pete Carroll & Mike Shanahan were nothing before Wilson & Elway. Just imagine if the Bills had drafted Josh Rosen instead of Josh Allen. McDermott would have been run out of town, and Brian Daboll would be an assistant coach in NE instead of head coach of the Giants.

I don't remember trashing him when he was traded: prove it with an archived post, or you've got the wrong guy. Edit: I looked at my posts from April 2009 and I found ZERO posts trashing Peters when he was traded. Next time get your facts straight before you make a statement that is blatantly false. I'm not touching it but I'm betting the Bills B team, AKA the NY Giants to lose by more than 5.5 at Tennessee. The Giants are similar to the 2018 Bills except their QB of the future is in college, not a rookie yet. They're in cap hell, devoid of a lot of talent. The only way they keep it close is if Saquon has close to 200 yards total offense and keeps the ball away from Tennessee.

They're going to call their O-line The Over The Hill Gang II The talk certainly wasn't among NFL GMs, who let him go undrafted and then when the Bills cut him, nobody put in a waiver claim & the Bills were able to sign him to the practice squad.
