  1. If Belichick can get a 1st rounder for Jones before the trade deadline he should go for it. Been there done that with Bledsoe.
  2. Dead cap #s of over $97 million in 2023 & over $81 million in 2024 means he'll be there for a while. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals/kyler-murray-29036/
  3. I got my ticket & a bus trip from Albany for $139, including $10 trip insurance. You can't even get a ticket for that price & that's before parking which is close to $80. From Albany it also costs another $40-50 in gas. Bargain of the year!
  4. They must be thinking of former Patriot, the late Jim Nance. Since he died 30 years ago they shouldn't think he's the one calling play by play.
  5. He's still going to get paid because he is still in the 1st half of starting QBs in the league-that's what slightly above average says & you're right about that. Look at the salaries some QBs are getting. The top 3 are not getting the job done. Rodgers is getting money based on last year & beyond, Wilson may be on the decline, but had leverage because of the trade, Murray is getting big money in spite of mediocre production, because just like Lamar Jackson in Baltimore the team really has no alternative but to pay him. Look at the rest of the guys in the 30-40 million range just below Josh, I wouldn't want to be paying any of those guys big bucks, but that's the current rate for slightly above average & the price is only going up each year. Here are the salary rankings for the top-20 quarterbacks based on average annual value, per Over The Cap. 1. Aaron Rodgers (Packers): $50.3 million (3-year, $150.8 million contract) 2. Russell Wilson (Broncos): $49 million (5-year, $245 million contract) 3. Kyler Murray (Cardinals): $46.1 million (5-year, $230.5 million contract) 4. Deshaun Watson (Browns): $46 million (5-year $230 million contract) 5. Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs): $45 million (10-year $450 million contract) 6. Josh Allen (Bills): $43 million (6-year $258 million contract) 7. Derek Carr (Raiders): $40.47 million (3-year, $121.4 million contract) T-8. Dak Prescott (Cowboys): $40 million (4-year, $160 million contract) T-8. Matt Stafford (Rams): $40 million (4-year $160 million contract) T-10. Kirk Cousins (Vikings): $35 million (1-year $35 million contract) 11. Jared Goff (Lions): $33.5 million (4-year $134 million contract) 12. Carson Wentz (Commanders): $32 million ($4-year 128 million contract) 13. Matt Ryan (Colts): $30 million (5-year $150 million contract) 14. Ryan Tannehill (Titans): $29.5 million (4-year $118 million contract) 15. Jimmy Garoppolo (49ers): $27.5 million (5-year $137.5 million contract) 16. Tom Brady (Buccaneers): $25 million (1-year contract) 17. Jameis Winston (Saints): $14 million (2-year $28 million contract) 18. Marcus Mariota (Falcons): $9.375 million (2-year $18.75 million contract) 19. Trevor Lawrence (Jaguars): $9.19 million (4-year $36.79 million contract) 20. Joe Burrow (Bengals): $9.04 million (4-year $36.19 million contract) https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears/nfl-highest-paid-quarterbacks-2022-aaron-rodgers-kyler-murray
  6. I guess I'll have to translate. If you think so little of Lamar Jackson you know nothing about football. Only a complete know nothing would claim he should be a backup. I tried using sarcasm instead of calling you a know nothing because I didn't want to get personal, but I guess you didn't get it so next time I'll just call you what you are since you have no problem insulting others.
  7. Packers might as well release Aaron Rodgers or name him their backup since he & Lamar are playing about the same the last few weeks.
  8. When are some of you going to understand Moss has NO TRADE VALUE. Didn't the fact he was inactive give you a clue? He was inactive because he's worthless. Everyone in the league knows that.
  9. It really depends on your location. If you are close enough to where the station transmits from it's easy, but if you are located in one of the areas further away than most viewers or live in a location that is not conducive to receiving the station, it's not that easy. I live pretty close to Albany and even in my house when I program in stations it depends on the room & the positioning of the antenna whether I'll get the station or not.
  10. It's different stations and networks depending on which stations are owned by Nexstar in your area.
  11. Here in Albany I'm not getting local ABC stations along with Newsnation. However for some reason we're still getting the local Fox stations even though they're also Nexstar owned. What I did was attach an antenna to one of my TVs, changed the input to TV and programmed in all the over the air stations. I still have the cable hooked up and I can switch back and forth by changing the input. Pretty simple solution.
  12. Kraft is over 12 years older than me & I can't wear shoes without feeling pain. I always wear sneakers & not shoes. I'm guessing Kraft can't wear shoes anymore.
  13. I had seasons for years & the only team I hadn't seen play in person was Tampa Bay. I finally gave up & saw them play against the Giants in 2006 so I could complete seeing every team at least once. I finally saw the Bucs in Buffalo in 2009.
  14. I think Arizona, who saw him every day in practice & games for an entire season knew Rosen was a bust & did the right thing for their organization by admitting they made a mistake & still got something in return before his trade value dropped to zero. Most GMs won't admit a mistake that quickly on a top 10 pick who they traded up for and it ultimately costs them their jobs. Keim saved his job getting rid of Rosen so fast. In fact, of all the GMs who drafted QBs in the 1st round of 2018, only Beane & Keim are still on the job with their team (Ozzie Newsome, who I consider the best GM of his generation, retired after drafting Lamar Jackson, proving that you can draft a QB in the year you're retiring and set the franchise up for years, unlike how Buddy Nix left the Bills).
  15. Todd Collins had a great month of December in his 13th season, proving the late John Butler correct. Collins is about the only player with a similar career path to Geno Smith that I can recall, but it only lasted one month. However it was one heck of a month!
  16. Just get an agreement with the owners of McKinley Mall & shuttle bus the fans parking there to the game.
  17. I remember every time one of our 1st round busts went to another team, I'd see someone post that he would come back to haunt us. Never happened. Then there were other teams busts that we picked up, like Brian Brohm, who I was told we stole from their team because the poster "saw him play in college"
  18. I've gone to 2 games this year. For the NYG I bought on Ticket Exchange from Ticketmaster and was able to put it in my digital wallet. No problem at the gate. For the Bills game in Baltimore I used Seat Geek. I couldn't figure out how to put it in the wallet, but their app worked fine at the stadium and we had no problem at the gate.
  19. McDaniels sucked as a HC in Denver and is just as bad in Las Vegas. Another bad limb from the BB coaching tree.
  20. I remember Kyle Orton retiring after the season ended & Doug Marrone looking at his QB depth chart without Orton & saying sayonara.
  21. The Tweet shows our cap hit if we traded for him since the other cap hit includes bonus $ paid by Carolina.
