  1. Dov Kleiman is wrong. Payton is allowed to talk with other teams with NO's permission. He is not allowed to talk IN PERSON with any team until 1/17.
  2. There was no bus, it was a home game. They used their remote starters on their cars the second they kicked off. When you move a team to a city that never had a team before, how can you seriously expect to have built a loyal fan base after 3 years?
  3. Usually from the goalpost with ropes early in camp.
  4. I'm rooting for Baltimore since I want no chance to hear that the Bengals could have passed us in the seeding. They were in the playoffs anyway. All the missed game did was diminish each team's chance at a higher seed. If the Bengals & Bills got seeded lower than their potential seeding & either won the Super Bowl, the asterisk is totally illogical.
  5. I hope someone has a way for Damar to watch the Bills game on Sunday. The TV in the hospital will be showing the Bengals game based on the 506 maps.
  6. Detroit is already out, they're tearing up the turf this month & replacing it.
  7. English translation: Wilson's contract is not tradeable and Woody Johnson has too close a relationship with his money to pay a guy to be on another team's roster. Plus he likes looking at the hot Mrs. Wilson at games.
  8. The fact that he's home and not in the hospital or a rehab facility is a very good sign.
  9. Can't be in Detroit: https://lionswire.usatoday.com/2023/01/06/ford-field-turf-replacement-neutral-site-playoff-game-venue/ The NFL is mulling the possibility of a neutral site for the AFC Championship game in the wake of the cancellation of the Bills/Bengals game in Week 17. Detroit’s proven ability to accommodate teams as a neutral site venue made Ford Field a distinct possibility to host the game, but it won’t happen. Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Ford Field will be unavailable to host the game. That’s because the Lions are replacing the field turf inside the stadium in January, a process they previously set up. Detroit cannot host any playoff games even if the Lions make the postseason, as the Lions would be the No. 7 seed and on the road for any playoff dates.
  10. If the Bills have one fewer loss than KC, we get the tie breaker & no need for a neutral field, but if the Bills have one fewer loss than Cincy & we play them, then it's on a neutral field since Cincy never got the chance to win & beat us for the #1 seed in the cancelled game.
  11. Cincy is also upset that if the Chiefs lose they can't get the #1 seed & the bye while the Bills are in position to get the bye if the Chiefs lose.
  12. I've been watching NFL Network & they don't mention this scenario. KC loses, Bills win, Cincy loses-All seeds are the same as if the game was played and either team won. The guys on NFL Network are not considering the possibility that the Raiders beat the Chiefs on Saturday. GO RAIDERS
  13. If KC gets the #1 seed, home field & a bye without any compromise solution I'll be complaining until the Bills win the AFC Championship.
  14. If KC loses & the Bills win then there's no need for anything since even if you count the Cincy game as a loss, the Bills & KC would have the same record and the Bills would be the #1 seed since they'd win the head to head tie breaker. The only problem with that is the Bengals could claim that if they won the Bills game, they would be the #1 seed.
  15. Use the bottle tonight to celebrate Damar's progress & get a new bottle for the playoffs.
  16. For the neutral field. If it's Bills vs Cincinnati-Detroit. If Bills vs KC-Indianapolis This is based on the distance between the two teams & the neutral site. In both these scenarios the distance to the neutral site is close to equal. KC to Detroit is much further than Buffalo to Detroit. Cincinnati is too close to Indy to be considered. If it's KC-Cin I don't care where they play it. For clearly selfish reasons, because it's the closest stadium, play it in NJ.
  17. He's bi-racial, his father is black. The 49ers received extra draft choices when McDaniel was hired by the Dolphins.
  18. Kyle Shanahan is a lock for coach of the year. He's down to his 3rd QB, Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy, a rookie 7th round pick and all the 49ers do is win. McDermott is OUR coach of the year but in the NFL it's Shanahan.
  19. This would be very stupid because 1) Is it McDaniel's fault he's down to Skylar Thompson at QB? 2) This is the big one-after the Flores lawsuit firing another minority head coach after one season would look very bad & sending the minority GM out the door with him even worse. If they then replace McDaniel with a white guy they would get destroyed in the media. In fact there might even be protests outside the Dolphins stadium.
