  1. Here's some photos. You have to click on slideshow in the article. http://www.thewbalchannel.com/irresistible...45/detail.html#
  2. Landetta was cut by the Rams after their horrible special teams day at The Ralph. I heard him on the radio a few months ago saying he's trying to get back in the NFL before camp starts. I don't think anyone has signed him yet.
  3. I had 6 small mice last December (you usually get more than 1, even if you think it's only 1). I set plastic snap traps with peanut butter & some glue traps near. 4 of the 6 got stuck in the glue, 2 were in the snap trap. Before I added the glue traps, one mouse ate all the peanut butter off the snap trap. Mine were in a confined area inside a cabinet where they were getting in and eating my oatmeal & noodles.
  4. I received an e-mail indicating my tickets have been mailed via priority mail. They included a tracking # for me to check their progress.
  5. Was it a preemptive strike because the comet had weapons of mass destruction?
  6. You need less vodka in your chowda
  7. Clayton may be right about Gandy. I'm very skeptical of Gandy. Remember, at this time last year Pucillo was 1st on the depth chart at LG and now he's gone. There's a lot of practices & 4 exhibition games before I'd count on Gandy being our opening day LT. Even if he starts the season, he could end up getting replaced by Tucker, just like Lawrence Smith was last year. The difference being Teague at LT. There's also a chance that Preston could emerge in camp & a line of Teague, Anderson, Preston, Villarial & Williams might be the answer. There are also other options at LT (maybe someone not on the team today), before anyone should pencil in Gandy. I'll believe Gandy as our LT when I see it. I just don't have the same high hopes for Gandy as some others & it wouldn't shock me if he were to go from the #1 LT to riding the pine to gone in 1 year.
  8. I don't believe that the MADD people have any business being there. What are they going to do if a fugitive is stopped & panics. The police are the ones who are trained for this, MADD members aren't. I'm not a big fan of MADD, as they do a lot less than they get credit for. One time they called me up for a donation and I asked them why they don't do more trying to make it impossible to start a car when someone is drunk through more interlock device laws. They gave me an answer that it is very tough to get interlock laws passed and I told them that they were an ineffective group & I wouldn't donate to them. If MADD was truly effective, the death rate due to drunk driving would be close to zero. They've been around long enough to have a better track record on drunk driving than currently exists.
  9. Buffalo Bills wins their 7th straight Super Bowl. 2 weeks before, at the NFC Championship game the announcers say "Who cares who wins this game? Buffalo won the AFC in the early game and they don't call J.P. Losman 'Mr. February' for nothing. The man is going for his 7th straight Super Bowl win and I can't see either of these teams even being competitive."
  10. The real MVP for the Spurs last night was Lindsey Hunter.
  11. Anyone calling for an apology, resignation etc is just another political hack/hypocrite. Seems like every day a Democrat wants a Republican to apologize& resign or a Republican wants a Democrat to apologize&resign. We might be better off if all the politicians apologize for wasting our time and then resign. This is a good column that appears in today's Newsday. http://www.newsday.com/news/columnists/ny-...news-columnists
  12. The kid certainly isn't the brightest bulb of the bunch. Parents taught him not to talk to strangers, so the kid gets lost and hides whenever he hears strangers approaching on the path, jeopardizing his life. I guess his parents never taught him the difference between talking to strangers who initiate something when there's no need and asking for the help of a stranger when you're in dire need of the other person's help. I hope this kid's family never has an accident where he's the only one left awake. He might just be stupid enough to hide under the front seat rather than flag a car down for help. The kid needs to learn some common sense.
  13. This just in: In 2001 Pat thought the Patriots were dead in the water after Drew's injury and was telling NFL Radio that Tom Brady wasn't ready to be a starting QB in the NFL.
  14. No doubt about it. I'd say opening day with either Tucker or The Duke at Center.
  15. The problem was the posts were describing the latest Dolphin player's arrest. Can't have the Dolphins' records exposed on a family oriented website.
  16. I think Cole Ford's shooting at the lion tamers' house should have earned him a spot.
  17. I already had central air & got mine replaced with a new unit this year. I have a 1170 square ft ranch. They replaced the unit, lines to the house, and the top area of the furnace. Total cost $2495-no tax since it's a capital improvement. My duct work & ac/furnace coordination already existed.
  18. Bledsoe & Warner are on the cover. Instead of them standing up they should have put them in a bathtub like you'd do with 4 year old twins & titled the picture "The two most washed up QBs in the NFL"
  19. Good. That means she's already served 2 terms and is not eligible to run.
  20. We're 3+ friggin years away from the next presidential election. When was the last time someone touted as a front runner this far away, who was not ever President or Vice President ended up the nominee. Do the names Muskie, Connally, Romney, Ted Kennedy, ring a bell? A little over a year ago, every Republican leaning media member was saying Dean had the Democratic nomination all wrapped up. All Hillary Clinton is, is a useful tool for Cons to get a hard on dreaming of an easy 2008 election. I'll believe it when I see it, until then all her candidacy is is another Muskie, Connally, George Romney or Ted Kennedy-very premature speculation that will never get there. ...and if she's as smart as her supporters think she is, she'll know better than trying to run & becoming the next McGovern or Mondale.
  21. Remember who protected Boxley? http://www.1010wins.com/topstories/winstop..._054110245.html
  22. Here's the Bills reply to my e-mail: The Bills Express will no longer be available due to Amtrak not being able to support the package. We appreciate your support of the team. Thank you Buffalo Bills
  23. When the Smart girl was found alive in Utah, it was much better for her to be alive than dead, just think how much better that story has turned out than the ones who were murdered. While both crimes should result in similar sentences, the victim is better off alive, because they can recover over time. Once you're dead, no chance to recover
  24. Bills | Pochman Waived - from www.KFFL.com Thu, 2 Jun 2005 14:26:01 -0700 BuffaloBills.com reports the Buffalo Bills have waived PK Owen Pochman.
  25. Answering the titled question: The Bills of the Super Bowl years were in good shape. If he had to give up beer to be in good shape, Kelly would have retired long before he did.
