  1. Barnes is gone. Terry at 55. I'll pick him & so will the Bills
  2. I've got a real dilemma. I've been touting Terry, but Barnes who isn't even on my board is better-I never thought he'd be here & I didn't think he was a 1st round value. But if he lasts to 55, I'm not sure what to do.
  3. Called it, just had the pick# wrong the 1st time
  4. Some predictions in 2nd: NYG - Barnes, Ariz Walter, Min or Jets-Nugent,Bills-Terry
  5. Barnes will be gone no later than the Giants pick #43
  6. Not going to happen. We don't want Shelton. We'll get a 3rd from Ariz or Philly & like it.
  7. I ended up getting picks 1, 5, 6, 15, 17, 24, 25 & 32 right. Not enough to win anything, but since I got Campbell right at 25, they should send me a can of soup.
  8. It's at least 50-50 that Adam Terry is there at 55. We can take him there. But-if Nuge is there I'd take him & hope Terry is still there when the Travis Henry pick is up, maybe even move up a little for Terry.
  9. Travis & his agent are dumb enough to keep him home until we trade him. Let's take the 3rd, use our third to move up in the 2nd and move on. It's sorta like if you were a boss who had a troublemaker who just gave you 2 weeks notice. Chances are you'd just say get the f out now, even if you had to pay him it wouldn't be worth keeping the bum around. That's the position we're in with Travis-he's worthless to us as a player. His worth is only what we can trade him for.
  10. Not likely because we have so far to move, but if we have any chance of getting him we should go for it. GMs can be such idiots when it comes to injured players. Don't they realize that injuries heal and if the prognosis is good, you shouldn't drop an injured player off your board. Let the other GMs keep dropping these players & we'll keep scooping them up at bargain values.
  11. Wow, real estate appreciation is a lot slower down there. My neighborhood is up about 50% since 2002. I hope the sellers realize that the house won't appraise higher than market, so unless the buyer has a large down payment, the bank won't approve the loan & they'll never be able to sell it until they come down.
  12. Thanks Jax, now we don't have to hear about Jones anymore
  13. Wait a couple of seasons & we can pick him up on waivers.
  14. I haven't seen him play much, but I've read that the team really likes him & Frank Coyle ,who can watch film & correctly judge players like linemen (who are tough to focus on unless you're specifically watching what they're doing) a lot better than when I watch them loves the guy. If McNally likes him I'll trust his judgement. It's more of a feeling that they have to fill the gap in their starting lineup than worry about next year or 2007. Knocks against Terry are lack of aggression & the need to increase his strength. He's huge & could easily carry 330+ lbs after we get him into a conditioning program & McNally & JP put the pep in his step.
  15. Mark-Anything of interest in today's Buffalo News that we might want to know about? I can't wait until 9, when it reaches the web. Anything about kickers? I'm looking 6th or 7th round to give the boot to Lindell, Chris Onorato(Hofstra)or John Marino (McNeese St.). Unfortunately, we'll never get near Nugent. My fears are the Jets will take him in the 2nd. I'm still going with Adam Terry as our 1st pick. The kid was on Albany's channel 13 a couple of nights ago & said he'd be happy going 2nd or 3rd round.
  16. He posted the same drivel on a rival board using the name Mixum. I never understood why people would change names & post on different boards instead of using one name across boards. The only time I used a different name on a football site was to go opn a SD board & bash Flutie. When I posted as Albany, they wanted to ban me.
  17. I see you edited your post & added more inflamitory BS against TD. Go to bed & sleep it off, you'll sober up in the morning.
  18. It's 2 picks higher than the Eagles can offer. Top of the 3rd is Henry's market value be it Philly or arizona. Guess what-Nobody is giving up a 2nd for Henry & the Bills think they can do better in the draft than L.J. Shelton. Ever heard of the salary cap? Shelton costs $3 million, a 2nd round choice will count a lot less & in the team's opinion, produce as well or better as Shelton. They don't want Shelton & they can't get a #2. Why not fire the other GMs who wouldn't give us their top picks for a guy who wants out. Instead of criticizing TD, you should start to work on a statue for him because getting a high 3rd is a true magic act, be it from Arizona or Philadelphia. I'm for firing Rudyc80, not TD.
  19. When JP puts a little pep in his step, Trey will say "Drew Who?"
  20. There's a contest to pick the draft order, with prizes like going to the NFL kickoff game. Get all 32 in order & win $100,000. There are some interesting things in this year's contest. They give you a list of players to move into the order column. If your pick is not on the list, you enter Unlisted Draftee. A lot of 1st round guys aren't on the list including Cedrick Benson. I ended up with 6 Unlisted Draftees-good news is that you don't have to write it in so if a different guy from who you thought is drafted & he's not on the list, you get the credit, Contest ends 1 second before midnight 4/22/05. If you entered last year, you don't have to re-register.
  21. No, but without it we have absolutely no chance to get Nugent. With it, we've got a slim chance.
  22. It better be pick 77, the 13th pick of the 3rd round. I'd rather trade Henry & flip picks with Philly in the 3rd(86 for 94) &4th (122 for 132) and get Philly's 2nd at pick 63.
