  1. Jauron will be kicked upstairs in some other capacity than head coach. He'll still work for Ralph, but he's done as their coach. Ralph will get something for his $ & we'll get a new coach.
  2. A couple of weeks ago, someone on the Zone posted that he was told by a reliable source inside the organization that Trent took another hit in a game after his 1st concussion and has had at various times blurred vision, some memory loss & headaches. If that is true, then he may have some kind of groin injury, but it's more likely the concussion is why they've shut him down for the season.
  3. So when the budget got tight, they could raise your taxes by not giving you the check. It's easier to pull the rebate check than to announce what amounts to over a 10% tax increase overall or close to 14% school tax increase. Those are the #s on my house.
  4. I just saw on the news some of Patterson's talk on the budget. Those autumn rebate checks on property taxes are history. STAR exemptions remain.
  5. Say Hamdan starts the Denver game & plays so poorly that he makes JP look good. Now what do the Bills do against NE at home? With the likelihood that Edwards won't be back this year, the team would have to choose between going back to JP or playing Hamdan again vs the Patriots. This could be the ultimate lose-lose situation.
  6. Fire him & pay him. Then spend real $ & get a real coach. This low paid coach thing is ridiculous-you get what you pay for & Jauron is like a $20 camera.
  7. Haslett IS Jauron warmed over (with more fire). Haslett-interim coach, previously fired by another team who would be available because the team he is interim coach of doesn't want him back. Been with the Bills before (as a player). Jauron-interim coach, previously fired by another team who was available because the team he was interim coach of didn't want him back. Been with the Bills before (as a coach). Same shiit, different guy.
  8. I'm not driving 293 miles each way to walk out. I will not park in the stadium lot or buy anything, but I paid for my ticket, am traveling a long way and I'm not missing any part of the game. I'd rather chant fire Jauron every time the Patriots score and let Ralph hear how disgruntled we are. We can be just as effective with our boos and taunts + for the artistically inclined-signs.
  9. No need to cut him, just announce Hamdan is starting Sunday in Denver. Who do we get to replace JP at this point in the season, the original JP-Joey Harrington?
  10. He should be interviewing with the Bills.
  11. I think when you assume Jauron will be be back next year, you make an..................................................................
  12. On WGR: He knocked ESPN for making it look like Jauron signed his contract yesterday after 1 win in last bunch of games.
  13. I really hope you're being sarcastic.
  14. This really shows the ridiculous mindset of the Bills coaches. If they really think they'll be back next year & the season is already lost, why start the guy who is auditioning to be someone else's #2 QB when you can audition the guy who could be YOUR #2 QB next year? Either they know they're gone & don't care or believe Hamdan isn't good enough and the only reason he's here is to be Trent's pet since he's Trent's best friend on the team. It's not like they're winning games with Losman.
  15. Noone is the guy who will be occupying the seats in the stadium for the playoffs.
  16. Endorsed Hamdan replacing Losman. Doesn't think Trent will play again this season. Thinks Jauron will be back . Says players love Jauron & play hard for him.
  17. Does that mean the guy who ran it in will end up being a bad NFL head coach?
  18. Go north, south, east & west about 150 miles from Buffalo & who else would garner interest from Buffalonians. Here we have NYC influence which leans mostly towards professional sports, not college & if we go east, there are plenty of schools in NE to gather the attention of those not interested in a local team.
  19. In the history of the Bills, the team has never played the last game of the season at home when the fans are looking for a coaching change in the offseason. If the game gets out of hand Jauron better hope there is no snow around for the fans to throw at him. This is going to be an angry mob wanting Jauron's head before they leave the stadium. I was once in the stands on the other side of this, but it was very cold and the Jets set a record for no shows-Joe Walton's last game as Jets coach-The Bills beat them 37-0 at Giants Stadium.
  20. Because there are enough colleges & universities in the Albany area for the fans to support local teams. Why would you expect someone from Albany to support Syracuse over Albany State? Another reason is we're as far from NYC as Syracuse & have more of an NYC feel to our sports support than anything as far away in the western direction. I grew up around NYC & nobody gives a rat's @ss about Syracuse football there. Albany is consistent with the NYC fans.
  21. There are plenty of Bills fans here, but the Giants are the most popular team by a wide margin-they were that way long before the Giants brough camp here.
  22. Mine came back around 3:30 PM Saturday. I was long gone from the house by then as I took refuge where the indoor temperatures were above 50. I returned home around 6:30, 3 hours later when the furnace had enough time to warm the place back to 70. I then went down to the basement to sweep some water into the French drain. At its peak there was 2" of water covering the floor since the sump pumps don't work without electric & my whole basement flooded. I figure in a day or 2 the basement floor should be completely dry. The worst part was I was planning to watch it on a new 46" HDTV and I had to postpone delivery so instead I'll still have HD, but the screen is only 19".
  23. Here's the deal: Under the original plan proposed, the concession guy gets hurt because there's nobody in the stadium to buy his products. So if anything, my plan is a wash for him.
  24. My most important points got missed because I went off on a tangent. He still was a RT, not a LT & he still weighed way too much for any of the experts to place that high a rating on him and be correct. His weight was & still is out of the range of successful NFL players. Kind of the rich man's Jamie Nails-who had limited success at RG, but couldn't cut it as a tackle.
