  1. He doesn't have a home or cell phone? There's no need to be in the office to finalize a trade.
  2. Ryan is another example of how important the QB position is. It may be a team game, but a bad QB can sink a team & a good QB can elevate a team. Atlanta was 4-12 because last year they had Harrington, Leftwich & Redman-all wash outs with other teams. This year they're a playoff contender with a good rookie. Funny how when you mention the difference between our QBs the (few remaining) JP defenders say it's a team game when you cite W-L records & for years they've been arguing that QBs need years for "the light to come on". You either have it or you don't-Ryan has it. Harrington to Ryan is =JP to Trent. QBs win and lose for a reason. When 2 QBs have drastically different W-L records with the same team, it's the QB who is making all the difference.
  3. Because it's only the 1st quarter Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills... and Nobody tires out his own defense like JP Losman.
  4. We need someone with a laptop to go to the airport, take a photo & post it here when he gets off the plane.
  5. Check out the Bills Ticket Exchange http://teamexchange.ticketmaster.com/html/...me_rec_findtix1
  6. McKelvin barely played on D until the McGee injury. Corner wasn't even active until last week and Hardy has been 4th on the depth chart until Roscoe went down.
  7. That is the one thing that I don't like about this staff. Young guys who have vets in front of them don't get a chance until someone is out with an injury. We saw it with Jackson & Greer last year. This year we're seeing it with all the rookies.
  8. The Jets are up by 3 at halftime. The trio of Enberg, Cross & Fouts continue to service the Jets & Favre. They are so blind to everything else they continually questioned why there was no official review after Cincy passed for a 1st down, the receiver catches the ball, has contact with the defender, knee hits, ball comes out after knee hits & the trio is complaining it's an incomplete pass & they are shocked there's no replay. I'm surprised the trio wasn't chanting J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets along with Fireman Ed. Maybe they turned the mikes down so we couldn't hear them.
  9. I'd give up a 2nd in a heartbeat & make us a serious Super Bowl Champions contender this year. Look at the 2nd rounders in the 1990s when we were picking lower in that round than in more recent years. The record was pretty dismal. It's not that much to give up pick 64 for Gonzalez. Also I'd like to see something more: JP & #2 for Gonzo & Huard. Solves getting rid of JP & gives us a real #2 who doesn't mind being here & knows he's the backup & has starting experience.
  10. He's a rookie. Think back to the rookie seasons of fellow 3rd rounder Ashton Youboty, and former 1st rounders John Fina, Henry Jones & Eric Moulds (drafted when the team was always a playoff contender). When a team is pretty good, rookies sit. Have patience, during the Marv years he always preferred the "rookies" to be 2nd year players.
  11. Do you have any idea what the difference in trade value is between & starting LT with a Pro Bowl under his belt & a #2 WR? Please don't propose any more trades.
  12. Gina doesn't even try to get the accent down, Tina nails it.
  13. Misled public. Look at breaking news at the top: http://www.cnn.com/
  14. I don't think he would be too upset. Buckley was an intellectual and if anything is causing him to spin, it was the nomination of the intellectually challenged Sarah Palin. Buckley would have much preferred being in a room and having a conversation with Obama & Biden over McCain & Palin.
  15. Some moronic woman in the group, gets the mike and with McCain standing directly in front of her, starts talking about Obama & calls him an Arab. John McCain stands up to her and defends Obama as a decent man whose ideas are different. Some of the idiots booed him. I commend John McCain for the class he showed that his classless running mate would not know if it slapped her across the face. Correction: He was booed after answering a question from someone who is about to become a daddy and said he feared an Obama Presidency for his child. When McCain defended Obama, he was booed. Later when the woman said Obama was an Arab, McCain then tried to cut it short, said he'd be the better President & was applauded for saying that.
  16. You need to be committed to a mental institution before you post again.
  17. Jauron got sick of watching JP Losman take snaps with the 1st team. He figures there's nothing that the team will get out of working with JP other than practice recovering fumbles and D backs honing their INT skills. Next week Edwards will be back at practice and the Bills can get something out of their practices.
  18. Fox News just declared McCain the winner of the debate & MSNBC just declared Obama the winner of the debate. Fox group of independent voters says McCain won, CNN's group of independent voters say Obama won. No need to watch the post debate coverage on any of these channels.
  19. Albany is definitely Giants country, but there are a lot of Bills' fans here. The Giants have their camp here & all Giants & Jets preseason games are on local tv, so the Bills are #3 in this area. When the Giants made the Super Bowl last year, they were selling Super Bowl programs all over the Albany area.
  20. When you have Keating & Iran Contra people with affiliations with Neo Nazis in your background, you shouldn't be using associates as a campaign strategy. Pretty soon they might be calling Palin "Pandora". The dates on the resignation letters in 1984 and May 1986 coincided with McCain election campaigns and increasingly critical public scrutiny of the World Anti-Communist League, the umbrella group Singlaub chaired. In 1983 and 1984 for example, columnist Jack Anderson linked the league's Latin American affiliate to death squad political assassinations. The Latin American affiliate was kicked out of the league. At the time, Singlaub told the columnist the Latin American affiliate had "knowingly promoted pro-Nazi groups" and was "virulently anti-Semitic." "That was putting it mildly," Anderson wrote in a Sept. 11, 1984, column on alleged death squad murders, an article that appeared two months before the U.S. election day. Two weeks after Anderson's column, a letter from McCain addressed to Singlaub asks that the congressman's name be taken off the board because he didn't have time for the council http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jzQtw1k...DtNpDQD93LRD980
  21. It's amazing how Schonert turns from genius to dummy when the QB changes from Trent Edwards to J.P. Losman. Suddenly the creative Schonert turns into Steve Fairchild & Tom Clements and becomes conservative & uncreative. The one thing Schonert had in common with Fairchild & Clements yesterday was J.P. Losman. The day we drafted J.P., the departed frozen one called him a coach killer when I recommended drafting J.P. in the 1st round (Yes, I really wanted J.P. on draft day 2004 ). Well if you're out there lurking iceman, you were right.
