I still keep the ticket stub in my pocket to prove that I was there

I have the program & ticket stub. I have them in a plastic cover like the ones you get at memorabilia stores.  Back then I used to buy the program before I went into the stadium either by getting it through the fence before the gates opened when the program vendors were within shouting distance of the gate, or I would pick it up at the Bills store.  I would leave it in my car before going into the stadium, so most of my programs are in pretty good condition.  Back then the program cost $3 for a full sized playoff program.

  2. The Dolphins are in the same situation that Baltimore was in with Lamar Jackson. They have to re-sign him.  The difference is that Tua most likely has an agent & will want things done sooner than Jackson.  Either way, Tua will get a long term deal within the next 2 years & remain the Dolphins QB.  This is nothing like the Daniel Jones situation where the guy didn't play well enough for his 5th year option to be picked up & the team made a mistake re-signing him.

  3. Happy Birthday!

I've been to 3 Bills games on my birthday.  The 1st was in 1982. The strike had just ended and I was leaving Buffalo in December, so it was significant because it was not only my birthday, but my last Bills home game as a WNY resident.  I've also been to Bills games on my birthday in 1993 & 2004.

Why? Go outside. Get a Haircut, change your oil, Cut your nails, wash your dog... plenty of other way more productive things to do... Can you tell me WHY you watch it? Im genuniely curious...

I'm allergic to foliage, I only get a haircut once every 2-3 months in the middle of the week when no games are on, the car dealer changes my oil once a year, I cut my nails in the morning out of the shower when no games are on, no dog, etc.

I watch it once in a while to see what may be future NFL players.  The Dallas Cowboys got their kicker from the USFL.

Years ago I went to a UFL game in Connecticut just to see what it's like.  It was fun.

I'd add Shanahan in there despite the recency bias of the Ravens loss.  Those other five you mentioned had their quarterbacks from start to finish.  Stefanski's went through four different starters at QB.  I think that's an easy way for voters to differentiate him between all the other candidates.

Logically, your statement makes a lot of sense, but last year I made the same case for Shanahan, who went from Lance to Garoppolo to rookie Mr Irrelevant Purdy and they gave it to Daboll.  So, with that in mind, while Stefanski looks like the obvious choice, to me, the obvious choice last year was beaten out by the NYC media darling, so it's hard for me to trust the voters' judgement.  They might just give it to Saleh for surviving the season with his job😃

Great comparison, neither Rosen nor Wilson appeared to have the physical ability to be legitimate NFL QB’s. I don’t think there’s much to salvage with Wilson. They’re also similar in being two guys with questionable character. Rosen never had the right attitude to be successful in the pros, and I’m not sure Wilson does either. Wilson is getting better at saying the right things, but that doesn’t mean he actually thinks them. Wilson comes access as a dude with a bratty attitude, not a recipe for NFL success at the QB position.

When Rosen with Atlanta, there was a story how he changed his attitude & was being mentored by Rich Gannon.  Sounds very similar to Wilson being mentored by Rodgers.

Hackett never called the plays in GB. That was one of his many issues in Denver. I think it was a lot to Go from not calling plays to being the play called and head coach at the same time.

but I totally agree re Wilson. I am maybe one of the few Wilson fans. I think he can be reclaimed. They mismanaged him from day 1. Reminds me of Tannehill

    in Miami.

Zach Wilson reminds me more of Josh Rosen than Ryan Tannehill.  I heard the exact same defense of Rosen numerous times as each of the 6 teams that thought they could fix him after Arizona traded him as a one & done brought him in & ended up streeting him.

Stefanski's definitely winning coach of the year.

After Daboll won over Shanahan who won more games with a rookie Mr Irrelevant last year I'm not about to crown anyone coach of the year yet.

The other candidates are Campbell, McVay, Harbaugh, McDaniel (who we can knock out by winning the division) and if he can overcome all the adversity of this season & end up with the #2 seed, our own Sean McDermott.

  8. I have Verizon Fios and in Albany that would mean no CW and more important, no CBS. However I have the TV in my bedroom hooked up to an antenna so all it means is instead of watching on my main TV in the living room, I'll go watch it in my bedroom by simply changing the input from cable to TV. Everyone with some form of cable should have at least one TV in the house set up to switch to over the air channels.  It's so simple even a mancaveman can do it.

Wilson is so freaking odd, he put in a fairly good season this past year despite the slow start they got back into it. It would be far easier for the Broncos to cut him after next season and they could simply draft a QB and give Russ the opportunity to start next season and then cut him in 2025 or 2026 when it would be easier to cut him cap wise.

The coach doesn't want him starting next year.  He wants to have a younger QB room that Payton can groom the way he wants them to play.  Russ is too set in his ways for Payton and Payton may be too set in his ways for Russ.

Considering the Broncos are very much alive for the playoffs they are basically making the decision to move from Wilson now.

Regardless I actually though he had a solid bounce back type of year and can't blame him for losing to the Patriots.

There are 6 teams ahead of them vying for 3 spots.  They are hardly "very much alive" for the playoffs.
