Since neither one of us knows how Singletary was feeling we can't accurately answer that question. I remember when Gailey used to say Spiller was "winded" after a few carries when asked why he didn't have more carries.
-
We're also missing a complementary RB to split time with Singletary. Preferably a big bruiser like Henry. Singletary is too small to be a bellcow. Even HOF RB Thurman Thomas had Kenneth Davis to give him a break. The coaches know they need more than Singletary and that is why he wasn't carrying much in the end in Houston. Beane will fix this in the offseason , he couldn't do it after Gore was done in the 2nd half of this season. Then the Daboll critics will have to find some other lame thing to complain about, and whatever it is will be just as dumb as wanting a small RB to be a bellcow.

We're 0 for 2 on Mike Williamses. Just thinking of Mike Williams/Buffalo Bills brings back bad memories. -
Neither. I don't expect a NE team to make the playoffs without Brady any time soon enough for Brady to face them.

What kind of Bills fan are you?

Anything that would guarantee a Bills Super Bowl win, I'll take. Here is an example: In baseball the Cubs traded Gleyber Torres to the Yankees for Aroldis Chapman. Torres will be a star for the next decade or longer. Chapman played a couple of months for the Cubs and re-signed with the Yankees. Looking at the trade long range, it was a steal for the Yankees, but the Cubs won the World Series. Ask most Cubs fans and they would do the trade again, even if Torres ends up in the Hall of Fame. Considering the fact that in all our lifetimes the Bills have never won a Super Bowl, anything that would guarantee a SB win we should all want. The OPs premise is guarantee a SB win. I'll take any guarantee, even if it meant Brady or even a ref totally blowing a call in our favor. The Rams didn't tell NO to go in their place last year. -

Giants hiring Joe Judge as HC

He already was a head coach in KC for 5 seasons and coached in the USFL & CFL, so anyone saying Marv Who wasn't paying attention. Also interesting was under Bill Polian's writeup in the 1986 media guide, before Marv was hired was the following: "Polian joined the Bills in August of 1984 after working for one year as player personnel director of the USFL Chicago Blitz. In Chicago, Polian was associated with head coach Marv Levy, with whom he had previously worked in both Montreal of the Canadian League, as a U.S. scout during the 1976-77 seasons and Kansas City, as a pro scout from 1978-1982." So if you had the 1986 media guide, you could have figured out that Polian was going to bring in Marv as soon as he had enough of an excuse to fire Hank Bullough. -

Even more than just watching film, the people in the draft room have talked with the top prospects often spending hours interviewing a QB prospect before the draft. There are so called experts in the media who spend their time watching film, but have never met the player or spent any time asking him questions & properly judging the answers. Another aspect that the guys in the draft room have is access to medical reports. An example in this year's draft is Tua. The NFL people are going to know a lot more about his prognosis than any media member. If they're bad, he'll drop. If they are good he's top 10. -
Super Bowl QB's: How Hard It Truly Is
Albany,n.y. replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jim Kelly didn't reach the Super Bowl until his 5th season with the Bills, the 8th season of his draft class. Kelly missed the 1983 season because his USFL contract started in 1984, so he was in his 7th professional season the 1st time he reached the Super Bowl. -

I'd rather re-sign Waddle, keep Nsekhe and move Ford to guard ASAP. I don't look at film & I don't know if you do either, but Joe Buscaglia does some pretty intense film study and has said Ford belongs at guard, not tackle & I trust his opinion.
-
The problem is Ford has no business at RT. He may become a mainstay at G, but he doesn't have it at T. If you have access to The Athletic look at the grades they give each game. Ford has graded out well when playing guard, but is the lowest rated Bills player on the list of players who qualify for season long grades because he grades out so poorly when playing RT.

Wrong!!! Dawkins, Allen, Edmunds, Knox. Let me guess, you're an Allen hater. Front Office.

Not even close Foster played last week and did nothing on offense. Meanwhile Duke outplayed Foster in the same game. -
