  1. Yesterday on the bus home there was a Jets fan saying how bad the throw was to Zay Jones that he caught on the winning drive & the receiver saved a bad throw. Well I was in the upper deck 1 row from the top & really couldn't see it that well to debate him. After I got home, I watched the game over since I recorded it. Turns out the ball hit Jones right in his gut, almost a perfect throw. That's the nonsense we have to put up with because media members like Francessa & others have no idea what they're talking about and opposing fans believe this stuff because they never see Allen play. Well as someone who has watched every down he's played except in the 1st quarter of the Houston game when OTB didn't have the game & I had to drive to a sportsbar & missed the 1st few minutes, I am psyched to have Josh Allen as the Bills QB.
  2. My 1st thought when I saw this was is Mike Francessa going to tell us tomorrow how inaccurate Watson is, throwing all those low passes that can be returned for pick 6s.
  3. The 1st one comes back & wins the game. What do you hear from the national media? Criticism and no respect. The 2nd one comes back & ties the game. National Media: He's the 2nd coming of Jesus. Josh Allen vs Kyler Murray. I guess Heisman hype & being the #1 pick has its benefits.
  4. I really believe if someone tries to sign Duke, the Bills will put him on the 53.
  5. Mike just bagged some more on Allen & said you're born accurate. Obviously he himself was born inaccurate himself. It's clowns like Mike who have the Giants fans betting on Sunday & I'm grateful to him & his ilk for the 2.5 point spread I bet today.
  6. Let the Pegulas worry about the fracking ban, I've been waiting a long time to bet football & I think this is the best season to do it because the public hasn't caught on how good the Bills are yet. This means we have a game we could dominate that we can bet the Bills to win by only a field goal so if the game is a lot closer than I think, I can still eek out a win. This means anyone betting futures before the season started is in great shape. For the majority this means they were able to get a winning bet in by betting the Bills to be no worse than .500. We have virtually 2 wins guaranteed vs Miami, we have one in the bag from yesterday and only need 5 more wins out of the remaining 13 games. I took it a step further by betting different win totals so I can win more if they win 9 or more games & make the playoffs and I only break even at 8-8, but I like my chances at 1-0 a lot better than if they were 0-1.
  7. I'll pile on some more: I thought he had plastic surgery on his face.
  8. He's being an idiot today. He obviously hasn't seen much if any of the games Josh has played in. He said Allen is terribly inaccurate & is accurate on one in every 5 passes. If he wants to be that lazy he should never talk about any other team outside of the NYC area. Otherwise he should prepare better. I'm listening to him today because I'm waiting for his apoplectic Jet fan callers & after catching some of the Bills postgame yesterday the last 2 clowns I want to hear today are Shopp & Bulldog.
  9. You're not alone. There are only 13 states that currently allow sports betting. Fortunately (I hope) NY is one of the 13.
  10. I wore my Josh Allen jersey to the game. It's undefeated live 2-0, both 1 point victories engineered by a late 4th quarter drive by Josh (10/7 vs Tennessee 13-12 win was the other). I plan on wearing it this week to go to 3-0, but they better win by more than a point because I bet the Bills -2.5.
  11. The NY Daily News Jet beat reporter was complaining how many Bills fans were at the game. He ain't seen nothin' yet-90% of the stadium will be Cowboys fans on October 13th (and the other 10% will have bags over their heads).
  12. I hope when the Captain comes back, we're down to only 1 McDermott and that's Coach McDermott.
  13. Got my bet in on the Bills at -2.5. I'm guessing the line goes up I'm comfortable in this bet since even if the game goes to OT, if the Bills win by anything other than a safety, I win. This might be the last good betting opportunity on the Bills for a while because I think the line moves too high for comfort against the Bengals if they win vs the Giants, and nobody should ever be betting the Bills vs the Patriots until Brady & Belichick are out of there.
  14. I regret that I didn't go to the casino Saturday night & bet what I wanted to: Bills on the money line & the under. When it was 16-0 I was feeling good for not betting the game in a game I thought was too close to call, but disappointed that I didn't bet the under. My plan all along was to save my $ for an easier game week 2 vs NYG, since the preseason lines had the Giants -1.5 (I don't think I could have bet that). When I saw Bills at less than a field goal vs the Giants (current line Bills -2.5) I rushed over to the casino, 22 miles from home & got the bet in on the Bills this morning.
  15. What was great was how the announcer forcefully said the name BELLAMY right after Gannon spoke. I was so pumped up after getting home from the game, I watched the game on the DVR from 11-1:30 AM just to see what the announcers were saying. When they got down 16-0 I was laughing and daring the Jets to score again since I knew the game ended 17-16. Comeback games are fun to watch again after coming home from the stadium.
  16. I totally agree. I think the Bills win next Sunday & I want to get a bet down before the line moves above 3 points. When I made my futures bets I figured something around 10 wins but I didn't go for the loftier bets of division, conference or Super Bowl. I have my bets structured in tiers. I break even at 8-8, win at 9-7 & double that if they make the playoffs.
  17. I'm going to the casino today hoping by the time I get there they haven't moved the line yet. I just got up & need about another hour before I can get ready to leave the house.
  18. The early line before any games were played was Giants -1.5. I may go down to the casino to bet the game tomorrow before the lines moves a few more points for the Bills.
  19. This is why I'll always hate any type of QB rating system. 2 INTS-one goes through the receiver's hands & 1 is tipped & results in a fluke INT. Then Allen runs one in instead of passing for it. A TD produced is a TD produced. The QB's #1 job is to win the game. When Josh got the ball late in the game he drove the team down the field from deep in his own territory and took the lead with a TD . When Darnold had the ball deep in his own territory he couldn't get the job done. Stats be damned! Darnold 13.7 point QB rating win. Allen 1 point game win. I'll take a game win over a QB rating win EVERY TIME!!!
  20. With the time left on the clock I screamed from my seats just kick it to the endzone or coffin corner & don't let the Jets touch the ball, I'm sure the coaches told him the same thing. He wasn't trying to pooch it, he was making sure the Jets couldn't run it back.
  21. It wasn't in the usual place on the NFL's website but I found it: https://operations.nfl.com/media/3823/2019-nfl-record-and-fact-book.pdf
  22. Monday's story: Bills shock Gregg Williams with 6 TDs against his defense. By the end of the game, bug eyed Jets head coach Adam Gase looked like his eyes were going to pop out of his head and B-slap Williams if he dared one more blitz.
  23. According to the alleged leak of the Bills board before the draft, they had Allen on top, it even includes the proposed trade with Denver. It looks like they would have traded up for Darnold, or Mayfield, if Allen was gone before 5. Notice they weren't looking to trade up for Rosen, and that Jackson wasn't in their top 6. The order on the board is 1) Allen-Wyoming, 2) Darnold USC, 3) Mayfield-Oklahoma University, 4) Rosen-UCLA, 5) Rudolph-Oklahoma State, 6) Lauletta-Richmond If you click on the image, it will open up on Twitter, then click on the left side & you'll get a good look at the board.
