  1. How about that 2022 draft! Even if Elam doesn't work out, and I'm willing to give him one more chance when he's healthy, we had 5 class of 2022 contributing tonight and those final day picks!

    2-Cook

    3-Bernard

    5-Shakir

    6-Benford

    7-Spector

Hard knocks should be good this week!

11 seed to 2 seed I. 5 weeks.   That has to be some kind of record.

they left so much out there and won anyway

Two weeks ago I said I couldn't wait to see the Dolphins meltdown on the last 2 episodes.  I predicted more f's from McDaniel than ever heard on 1 hour of TV.

Both.  Bad JA placement, but Davis literally just fell, likely could have batted it down.

On both INTs in the endzone, Miami's D made stupid mistakes costing them yardage.  1st Apple runs out of the endzone giving Miami bad field position.  Then they lose yardage by catching the ball in the endzone instead of knocking it down & going back to the LOS on 4th down.  I wonder if either play has Fins fans complaining about the D backs being poorly coached.

Funny how Sherfield and Harty do nothing the whole year and make two of the biggest plays of the year

Just when Bills fans think Beane was dumb signing these 2.  They all totally redeemed themselves!

Yes, but you can't count on a win. Therefore rooting for a Jags win is rooting against the Bills. The Bills will still be just as hungry for the 2 seed. I'm sorry the Titans won today. I hope you're not too hurt by it.

You still don't know how to read the posts you quote.  Explain how you went to talking about the draft in your reply when the draft was never mentioned & the post was about wanting the Bills to get the 2nd seed.   When the Bills win tonight your conclusion will make even less sense than the little sense it makes now.

Because I read it correctly. Yes, by winning we get the 2 seed but you realize that wanting the Jags to win is still rooting against us because them winning and us losing eliminates us. It's pretty simple how I came up with it

It's a totally illogical conclusion. The Jags wouldn't have eliminated us with a Bills WIN.  You need a remedial reading comprehension course.  There was nothing said about draft picks.

I agree but I do sorta see the logic. If the Bills can't beat Miami tonight with Waddle and Mostart sitting how are they beating them in Miami next week with both of them back? I know any given Sunday and all but feels like that stage they would be a bit wing and a prayer. I'd still rather be in than not. But I understand the thinking that if we can't win tonight it is better to try and pick 19th or 20th in the draft than 22nd or 23rd. Especially with where that second tier of receivers (after Harrison who is alone in tier 1) - Nabers, Odunze, Coleman - might come off the board.

I know there are some people who don't even want to think draft yet, and that is fine. But it is the time of year when my mind turns to it regardless of whether the Bills are in or out.

There was no logic to his post at all unless he replied to my post by mistake & was answering someone else.

You should never have this mindset. Rooting against your team to make it so that we can get a higher draft pick because "'the odds of us going on the road and doing anything isn't good". You have to get in to make it happen and I would still gladly take the 7 seed to make that happen. Wanting another team to win that would eliminate us with a loss is just flat out stupid

MY mindset is get the 2nd seed.  How did you possibly read into what you quoted & come up with what you did?  I want the Bills to be hungry to get the #2 seed.  I'm hoping they're still as hungry as if they didn't clinch anything yet.  #2 seed means 2 home games vs going on the road to KC in round 1.

  9. I want Jacksonville to win because I want the Bills to HAVE to play for the 2nd seed like their playoff lives depend on it.  If they can't win tonight, what makes anyone think the would go far in the playoffs as a 5th or 6th seed after blowing 2nd seed?  I want the Bills to know it's do or die and play like there's no tomorrow because every game will be do or die the rest of the post season. Toughen them up with a must win mindset entering the game tonight.

I used to watch scrambled porn in my teens with a better picture than this camera angle has.

Back in the mid 1980s we had a small cable company and when snow & ice got stuck on the wiring the porn channel filter didn't work & I could watch it for free. Back then they had full length movies.

  11. Times have changed.  From Super Bowl 1 through XXXIII 1/3 of the Super Bowls were won by a QB who was the #1 overall pick in the draft.  In the 24 SBs from 2000-2023 only 5 of the 24 Super Bowls were won by a QB who was the #1 overall pick.  The % dropped from 33% to less than 21%.

I used to use the data to support tanking.  In 2018 Beane taught me that you don't need the #1 pick to get the draft's best QB, although I still believe your best shot is with a top 10 pick.  Teams that are looking for the next Brady, or even Purdy may spend decades drafting late round QBs with nothing to show for those picks.  Just look at all the QBs the Bills drafted between Kelly & Allen.  It took a top 10 pick 22 years after Kelly's last game to find the Bills next franchise QB.

Shrewd move by both sides especially for Cook who will have a great chance at winning a superbowl now.

Cook does have a great chance of winning a Super Bowl-JAMES COOK.

Will be cool to see a Cook vs Cook AFCCG!!!

Will be cooler to have old man Flacco come to Buffalo for the AFCCG!

  13. Confident enough that I booked a round trip flight from Oakland to Las Vegas on 2/11 that gets into Vegas at 9:30 AM and leaves at 10 PM back to Oakland.  Confident enough to reserve the guest room at my sister's in California from 2/09 to 2/13 and book her to drive me to and from the airport on Super Bowl Sunday.

Not confident enough to book the round trip to Oakland from Albany, nor get a flight to Vegas that didn't enable me to get a credit if I cancel. Not confident enough to buy a game ticket until the Bills win the AFC.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Get ready South Florida here comes Bills Mafia!

Sunday's showdown for the AFC East title in Miami is a road game for the Buffalo Bills, but it may not look and feel like it.

According to VividSeats.com, it projects that more than half of the fans inside Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday will be rooting for the Buffalo Bills. That's a lot of red, white and blue as the stadium holds 65,326 people.

Using the "Fan Forecast" algorithm VividSeats projects that the split of fans at Sunday's game in Miami will be 52% to 48% in favor of the Bills.

I was living in Dansville, NY at the time, well within the 90 mile radius for Bills to black out the game. But the small cable service available in that podunk town was privately owned and the guy was a huge Bills fan. As far as I know, he was never ‘caught’ pirating the feeds and we could always watch blackout games. The star on the top of this was the games never had any commercials! The feed would stay on with announcers rewinding plays to pinpoint aspects they’d talk about when the broadcast resumed OR just stay locked on the Jills fidgeting with their suits (😲)! I had the game being recorded and at halftime my son & I went out to play some street hockey in the driveway. He went back in and yelled out the game resumed and should he kill the VCR? I said “Nah, we deserve this from our 51-3 pasting of the Raiders.”

Well, the rest is history. Everyone I know from WNY wanted a copy of the game for posterity! I was cranking out copies for weeks after!

I used to record all playoff games.  When I got back to Albany after the game, I had requests from people at work & in Buffalo.  I had 2 VCRs at the time, so I was able to make copies locally, then I sent the tape to a friend who had the AV expert at St. Francis HS make tapes for anyone who couldn't see the game due to the blackout.
