  1. That doesn't work. Whoever would trade for Darnold would be trading with the intention of either a 1 year tryout or making him their starter. The elephant in the room is the 5th year option. If a team trades for Darnold, they almost immediately have to decide to accept or decline his 5th year option. If they accept, they'll be on the hook for at least around $11 million. So unless a team's intention is for Darnold to be their undisputed QB of the future they are declining the 5th year, making Darnold a free agent 1 year after they traded for him. There's no way Darnold stays anywhere where he has no chance of starting. Therefore, there's no way he ends up on the Bills.
  2. If the Giants are bad enough to get the 1st pick they will take Lawrence & Danny Dimes can be had for a dime. No way they can lose enough to have the NFL's worst record & pick Daniel Jones over Trevor Lawrence. The only team that wouldn't take Lawrence is Cincinnati.
  3. I don't want Lawrence in the AFC. I'm rooting for him to land somewhere in the NFC. That's why I didn't include any AFC teams.
  4. Time to start rooting for the Giants, Lions & Panthers to out-tank the Jets,
  5. You can rewind it. It starts a few seconds before 1:12
  6. Why the confusion? I think my 1st sentence covers your confusion. They don't know what the heck they're watching. If they don't understand what they are watching, their grading system is meaningless. It's like if I watch a film in another language, I'm not going to understand what's going on. It's like viewing football is a foreign language to them. They don't understand what they're watching. To be honest, I have no idea how they come up with their grades, hence my mentioning stats, but it's obvious they don't know how to watch a football game.
  7. I'm listening to Schein right now & he's predicting 3 total victories for the Giants & Jets combined. He thinks the Giants are the worst team in the NFL, not the Jets.
  8. I couldn't resist I had to pile on Rocko: Rocko: Stick to your day job. What did the Vikings end up with? A mediocre rookie WR, 3 picks in 2021 who contribute nothing this season & a 7th rounder on IR. Vikings 0-2 & Cousins looks horrible without Diggs. Meanwhile genius Beane and the Bills are 2-0 & Josh Allen looks like the NFL's MVP with Diggs as his #1 WR.
  9. Schein & the Simms father Phil & son Chris have been among Allen's biggest supporters throughout his Bills career.
  10. One thing is for certain, whatever their method is, none of their staff knows how to watch a football game. I've said it many times: There's a reason NFL players, coaches, scouts,, and GMs watch hours of film. If stats told the whole story they could cut their study time to virtually nothing by printing out stats, meeting and going around the room.
  11. Adam Gase went into the Jets front office & told them that Darnold outplayed every other QB and that he's the only coach Darnold will ever need. Meanwhile Woody Johnson is over in Britain going over a binder full of coaching prospects while his brother tries to get Woody Trevor Lawrence as a welcome home present.
  12. "If this works, then stats really are for losers, I guess." Stats are for losers. Point proven in 2020. Their stats make a strong case that Mason Rudolph is better than Allen
  13. I spotted this gem in your link: Kirk Cousins on Sunday was a Peterman-esque 11-for-26 passing for 113 yards and three interceptions.
  14. Coach Lynn said Tyrod gets his job back when healthy. https://clutchpoints.com/chargers-news-anthony-lynn-clarifies-starting-qb-situation-after-tyrod-taylor-injury/ #Chargers coach Anthony Lynn on Tyrod Taylor: “If he’s 100 percent ready to go, he’s our starter.”
  15. Credit to the whole Bills organization some of whom flew out in the Pegula plane to meet Josh before the draft & Beane & company who had Josh rated as the top QB in the draft. After the Tyrod trade, Cleveland was in a better position to have Josh sit his rookie year than the Bills who had McCarron & Peterman as the 2 guys who Josh could sit behind. As it turned out, even though the O-line & WRs were both among the worst in the NFL, I think playing as a rookie helped Josh's development. For the record I'm in the camp that you can't ruin a QB by playing him. I also believe that someone with Josh's mindset can't be discouraged by adversity.
  16. I wouldn't close the book on Darnold yet. Just look at what having a true #1 WR along with a top #2 and a decent #3 has done for Josh. Darnold has no WRs. Until he gets at least 2 or 3 decent WRs, it's tough for him to do anything.
  17. I was so impressed by the Minnesota game that that week I went out & bought an Allen jersey at the local mall. I figured I didn't have to worry about him leaving the team for at least a decade. I wanted Josh to start opening day in Baltimore as a rookie & I was sitting in the stands getting drenched in the rain & when I saw Allen enter the game I went crazy cheering. He's always been my QB.
  18. Pretty simple answer. They had the #1 pick in 2018 & chose the wrong QB. #Wrong Baker.
  19. Get real, there is no way in the world the Jets are releasing Darnold after this season. The GM will load up on WRs in the off-season He can't be judged when he has the worst receivers in the league.
  20. Microwaving a personal pizza as I do every gameday when the game is on local TV, as it is today. One of the advantages of this routine is that if you ask me what I ate before a game that I watched at home, I always have the right answer.
