You are embarrassing yourself posting on a football forum trying to show up other people telling them they are embarrassing themselves lol 😂

We can have honest discussions without personal attacks right?

My point is Lamar isn't the most valuable player in all of football if his team can make the playoffs without him and his backup can make the pro bowl. It's a reasonable take. I don't think Purdy is the most valuable player on his own offense let alone the league and he could be interchangeable with about 20 other guys and SF would still be the best NFC team. Those are my opinions.

It wasn't a personal attack, I was trying to help you stop embarrassing yourself, but you won't listen.  Please stop with the ridiculous Pro Bowl nonsense.  Nobody took Huntley's Pro Bowl appearance last year as a serious indication of his ability as one of the best QBs in the league.  He was a replacement when others dropped out.  The Pro Bowl selection is considered a joke with all the dropouts.  Without Lamar there is no way Baltimore wins 13 games & is the #1 seed.  Just making the playoffs vs #1 seed is a big difference.  Purdy isn't going to be MVP & you're right that he could be replaced, but Purdy & SF has nothing to do with Lamar & the Ravens.

You might not think Lamar is MVP, but you know who does?  The voters.

The Ravens didn't have Lamar and Huntley did really well actually and made the Pro Bowl. I would say the Ravens would still be in the playoffs with any other top 20 QB.

    Pro Bowl 🤪

They lost 3 of their last 4 games with Jackson out & the one playoff game. 1-4 last 5 without Jackson.

Give it up, you're embarrassing yourself.

So how many games must a qb win to be considered for the HOF the only games they care about is superbowl wins and not even that really matters no qb has been denied entry bc they had HOF stats but didn't win enough if that was the case Kelly wouldn't be in at 0-4 in superbowls

Show me a QB who had a losing record who didn't win a championship who is in the HOF.   I can't think of any recent ones, and the only QB I can think of off the top of my head who lost more than he won is Joe Namath, who won what might be the most significant Super Bowl of all time.

Lamar is MVP based on what stats besides W-L record? They should just change the name of the MVP to "QB on the best team" award

Considering the words MOST VALUABLE, a QB has to lead his team to victories in order to be considered.  No sub .500 team's QB will ever win MVP because obviously, if he was most valuable, they would have won more games.   Think of the Ravens without Lamar Jackson or the Bills without Josh, neither of those teams would be playing this weekend without their guy.  You have to be a difference maker-lead your team to wins they wouldn't without you-to be considered MVP.  Lamar fits that requirement in Baltimore and since they won the most games, and he had a much lower turnover rate than his competition, he'll win MVP.

Too bad you don't like the reality of MVP voting, but there's nothing complaining about it on a message board will do to change it.  The writers give huge consideration to victories in MVP voting & don't care if you don't.

How many games would the Bills win if Tua was their QB?

All of them.  Don't you know that Tua is the AFC's best QB=the Pro Bowl vote said so, while they also said Josh is JAG.  🤣

I have a Generac 7000W gas-only generator.  I wanted tri fuel but had to settle for this.  I've used it once for an extended period in the past decade.  The problem I've had for the past 4 years or so is that despite starting it every month, I sometimes can't get it to run and need to pull the carburetor and clean it.

Get one with more power than you think you need and an electric start.  Also get an interlock installed on your panel.  That way you don't need to have a sub-panel.  It will save you a ton of money and allow you to pick and choose what you want to turn on.  And have an outlet installed outside your house to plug the generator into.

Just out of curiosity: How does an electric start start when the electricity is out?

I’m flying in from California and need some advice. Only 2nd game in Buffalo

    - which parking lot should I try and get in for ease/fastest out after the game. I know there’s traffic regardless but leaving the cincy playoff game last year I was in the line out of the parking lot for like 2hrs and hope to not do that again.  I can’t remember which lot it was, maybe near the performance center?

    - I have refundable hotel in 2 spots. One in Tonawanda that’s on the crappier side and one on Niagara Falls Blvd by the “Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls” that is a nicer hotel. Leaning toward Niagara but the map says it’s like 40min away from the stadium at least. Given weather/driving post game etc. is it better to suck it up at the crap spot in Tonawanda or am I fine in Niagara?

    thanks in advance!

Unless you plan on visiting Niagara Falls, or they're a lot cheaper than the area motels, why so far away?  If I was flying, I would have chosen something close to the airport, which is less than 20 miles away from the stadium, or booked a motel in Hamburg, near the stadium.

Maybe, but they are going to need to face a harsh reality:

The only way they are going to get over the hump is a franchise QB.

They won't draft high enough to get a solid one with Tomlin giving them a winning record out of mediocre talent. No coach or player decides they want to tank. There's too much on the line for their resume

    That's a front office choice.

Things will likely need to get worse before they get better. And we know how bad that can be.

Go back to 2018. We were drafting 21 & 22 & made it up to #7.  Many around here couldn't imagine getting up to 7 from 21, but Beane found a way and got a little lucky because nobody took Josh in the top 6.  If Pittsburgh wants to they could package a combination of players & pick to move way up.  However, it takes guts & a conviction that you are drafting the right franchise QB.

Maybe they want Siriani fired? 🤷

Tampa is the place to get a coach fired. In 1986 the Bills players knew if they lost in Tampa that Bullough would get fired.  One of the (most likely true) rumors was that Bruce Smith said to his teammates in the D huddle that he'd kill anyone who made a tackle.  Bills lost. Hank was fired.  Levy came in & the rest is history.

But it would have been Mahomes vs Stroud

Actually it would have been Jackson vs Rudolph on CBS because if Pittsburgh had won the Mahomes/Stroud game would have been on ABC.

I really enjoyed Romo's commentary today. Early he spotted a Bill's defensive coverage sto, really gave Allen his flowers, talked about how Pitt was getting momentum and it was nervous time for Buffalo. His enthusiasm was really good.

The only thing I disagreed with was the Hyde and Poyer comments.

Overall, he did an outstanding job. I kind of get the feeling he's secretly cheering for the Bills.

I'm sure everyone at CBS would rather broadcast a game with Mahomes vs Allen than Mahomes vs Rudolph.

Edit: The CBS game would be on Sunday night no matter what. Since the winner of Bills/Pittsburgh had to play on Sunday, if Pittsburgh had won it would have been Pittsburgh at Baltimore with Rudolph vs Jackson.  Then the Houston at KC would have been on Saturday night on ABC.

Allen with the blatant fake slide on the long run, then later draws a 15 yard penalty on a late hit on slide where the defender didn't hit his head.....but can you blame him for going for the tackle based on the fake earlier?

The slide is a play intended to protect the QB, not to do what Allen did.  That was garbage.

I just watched the replay.  He was never close to a slide.

Just change your screen name to "I'm afraid of the Chiefs coming to Buffalo" for the next week if you're going to show this much fear of Josh by seeing things that aren't there.
