  1. Allen would have had his toe cut off & then went back in the game😄.
  2. That bench should be in the UFL.
  3. He'll be back for the season finale begging the Bills to win so the Jets can get the #1 pick in the draft.
  4. They aren't even letting him travel with the team: https://www.atlantafalcons.com/news/younghoe-koo-ruled-out-does-not-travel-for-falcons-week-2-game-vs-minnesota-vikings
  5. When Dan Neaverth was the Bills stadium announcer, if there was a questionable call he'd announce it with an incredulous tone like "It's pass interference, against, Buffalo?????
  6. The best "It's third down" ever was when Antonio Brown was going crazy vs the Jets & is stripping off his clothes & as he's in the endzone topless raising his hands the Jets stadium announcer says "It's third down" as Brown exits into the tunnel, with third down flashing above him on the scoreboard. https://www.google.com/search?q=Antonio+Brown+Tampa+at+Jets+meltdown&oq=Antonio+Brown+Tampa+at+Jets+meltdown&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigATIHCAMQIRigATIHCAQQIRigATIHCAUQIRigAdIBCjIxMDk4ajBqMTWoAgiwAgHxBbOg9byrwfby8QWzoPW8q8H28g&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:ab246392,vid:XwarRhsTSNw,st:0

  8. Harbaugh gets the blame for the Ravens many blown leads, but people seem to forget that it usually starts with a mistake by Lamar.
  9. The ball was at the 38 yard line. When was the last time you saw a team on their own 38 with a 2 point or 1 point lead risk immediately putting a team in FG range with about 1 1/2 minutes left on the clock needing 3 yards for a 1st down? If you can find one where the team went for 3 yards at that point of the game & succeeded, let me know. The only coach I've seen do stuff like that was Staley with the LA Chargers & stuff like that got him fired. Edit: I looked up something & I was wrong on the analytics. I can see your point on this basis, but I still can't agree: After the game, analytics showed that the move to punt was the incorrect one. ESPN Analytics calculated that the Ravens' win probability was 81.4% if they had gone for it on fourth down, but dropped to 73.2% when they punted. The second-guessing in this specific situation shows why a coach would consider going for it, even in such a dangerous position.
  10. Another one : Jets SNL
  11. Happy Birthday!
  12. Here's another reason there's no rivalry that we old guys remember: It's hard to hate the team that gave the AFL credibility. The Jets victory in Super Bowl III was a victory for every AFL team. The AFL players, including the Bills players, were all proud of the Jets for beating Baltimore and showing the NFL that they were not an inferior league. The Jets victory was an AFL victory.
  13. Momentum? If the Bills had all the momentum, then they would have definitely stopped the Ravens before they could have gotten 3 yards. Less than a minute & a half, no time outs, starting at their own 20. 99% of all coaches punt rather than risking the game for a shot at making 3 yards on 4th down. I bet the analytics say punt 100% of the time. It's a lot different if you're up by more than 3, or if it's 4th & inches. Baltimore was up by 2. If they don't make it, it's almost guaranteed they lose the game on a late field goal. Punting was the only thing they could do. Let's agree to disagree, but I'd bet on every coach punting in that situation unless it's late in the season & his team is already eliminated from the playoffs or their playoff spot is locked in & cannot be improved.
  14. Are there any safeties on the last year of a contract with a bad team that may be willing to trade them around the trade deadline?
  15. While I think NO is one of the worst teams in the league, I couldn't risk Brock Purdy not playing & having to rely on Mac Jones at QB. I don't think it's clear who will be SF's QB on Sunday.
  16. I don't think it's Lamar who has been smug towards Josh. It's his fanboys in the media who have been the ones who overrated Lamar over Josh.
  17. I learned never to leave a game on 11/22/1981 vs NE when I was with a group & they made me leave because the driver was leaving. It was the famous Ferguson to Hooks TD with 5 seconds left and I can still hear the cheers coming from the stadium while we were in the parking lot. The only times I left a game early after that was when I had to catch a flight. One was a game in Buffalo vs Carolina when I had to catch a flight to NY for Thanksgiving week & the other was a game in Baltimore when they flexed the game to 4 from 1 & messed up my schedule & it was too late to change my flight after they flexed the game. I rarely go to games anymore but I never turn the TV off early-not even in preseason. Speaking of leaving games early, I remember the Bills 52-17 loss in Super Bowl XXVII when people were leaving a Super Bowl early. I couldn't believe how many people left that game early.
  18. I have 2 entries in the pool I'm in. I picked Detroit & Baltimore. I had Arizona & Philly last week.
  19. Going for it on 4th & 3 from your own 38 up by 2 would be insanity. Noi coach in his right mind would risk not getting 3 yards & basically already giving his opponent field goal range from their own 40 rather than making Josh start at the Bills own 20 with 1:33 left. It was 4th & 3, not 4th & inches.
  20. I've hated QB ratings of any kind ever since Rob Johnson had a higher QB rating as a Buffalo Bill than Jim Kelly had as a Buffalo Bill.
  21. They IR'd Carter & Bass, Franklin only filled 1 spot when they did this.
  22. We went into the Ravens game with a 52 man roster in anticipation of doing this after week 1 to avoid guaranteeing Prater's salary. Might be the same reason we waited until week 2 to sign Johnston.
  23. They didn't go for it because up 2, you don't go for it on your side of the field & practically put the other team in line for a game winning FG if you don't make it. It wasn't 4th & inches. If they went for it & failed, Harbaugh would have been tarred & feathered in Baltimore. The Bills started around their own 20 after the punt & still drove it all the way down the field quickly, but most non-Allen led teams would never have scored after the punt with limited time on the clock. You go with the percentages & trust your D to stop a team from their own 20 rather than try to make it on 4th down over a yard in that circumstance. I doubt no matter how much Lamar would have lobbied to go for it, that Harbaugh would have done anything other than punt.
  24. Josh Allen is & always has been a statistician's worst nightmare.
  25. I was hoping to see Hancock take over but the fact he was inactive tonight means he isn't ready yet.
