players in one swoop. But by upgrading the QB position you get the biggest bang for the buck. Changes come incrementally rather than wholesale across the board. So thats why I focus on the QB position. Maybe others think that as well, I cant speak for their motivation.

I'll second this sentiment. It is way to harsh. 50 or 60 yard penalties can change the game. Same for blocking in the back on a KO return. Should be a 10 or 15 yard penalty from the new LOS.

How about Drew taking some responsibility by actually trying to evade a tackler. He just stands there and gets sacked. If you drw a 3 foot circle around Drew's feet he rarely ever steps out of that circle. DE's can rush for that spot and find Drew standing there. The guy needs to move around and buy some time until a WR can get open. Yes it would be better if we had the great wall in front of Drew but sheesh the guy can try and evade a tackle cant he?

It's good to know who whiffed their blocks but it doesn't change the fact that we need a mobile QB who can evade the rushers when the play does blow up. Most other QB's can evade the rush and make a throw. Drew just stands there and gets sacked. That wont cut it anymore.

After watching many other games today. I noticed a few points which started me thinking. 1) No team has a real good OL from what I saw today. The days of the hogs OL are over. Free agency doesn't allow to build really super good lines anymore. So the QB has to be mobile to compensate for the the average OL play. 2) Most QB's I saw today had to scramble and run to keep drives alive. 3) This is why our offense is putrid to watch. Our OL is no better or worse than other OL's around the league. The difference is that Bledsoe cant move so defenses blitz to one spot and sack him. If Bledsoe could scramble a bit and make a play, they wouldnt blitz as much. I'm not anti Bledsoe as much as I am pro Buffalo Bills ! I just want the Bills to win and dont really care who the QB is as long as we win. I just dont think Bledsoe gives us the best chance to win. I would like to see a change made. Someone posted stats about the sacks per pass attempt. Mathews had a pretty good ratio. Way better than Drew. I would like to see Mathews play. I dont buy that he has no talent. Lets see him play and then decide.

Flutie is one of the best off the bench backups in the NFL if not the best. But as a starter the defenses know how to shut him down.

It's not like Drew's style is saving him from any hard hits. Didn't he have the league high sacks last year? How many did Vick or McNabb have? Being mobile does save some the Qb from getting sacked as much.

Logic ? You want some logic ? Is it easier to replace one player or six ? To keep Drew you need to upgrade to O-Line involving multiple players and lot's of cap to save one player. Or you can change the Qb to compensate for the mediocre O-Line and only change 1 player to get similar results. Which plan has more logic?

Or the LA Rams ? Or LA Raiders? If the Bills move to Anaheim then I will start taking train packages from San Diego to the game and back !
