If we can get a lead early, it will make the offense's job easier. Should be less blitz's if we can establish a lead. If we can get a lead the defensive job becomes easier as well. We should be able to blitz a little more if they are behind. I wonder if Sam Adams will be allowed to blitz more this week?

Your correct, I've seen the same thing in other games and the refs made the same call. The refs are correct on this issue per the rules.

Maybe TD can consult with Kent Hull to draft OL or pick FA lineman.

They were more effective because they were hardly on the field in the second half. Other wise they would have given up a TD in the last two minutes of the game just like in the last two minutes of the first half. Jerry needs to rethink his prevent defense scheme's

Exactly ! We must have two quality RB's on an NFL roster to be effective. One RB will get hurt during the course of a season, you need two quality starters. We have that now. Can we stop the trade so and so discussions now.

I agree those soft defenses have given up way too many 3rd and longs and lost the three games of the year so far by giving it up on the the last drive of the game. Jerry needs to drop that soft stuff out of the playbook. Keep playing tough the entire game.

The second he gets the ball he throws to a spot along the sideline. There is no thinking involved, no hot reads, just get the ball and throw. The OL only needs to block for 1 second which is all they are capable of and since Drew cant think or scan the field it is within his skill set. I have seen this executed by other teams with success. This puts the pressure on the WR to correctly run the timing pattern which Moulds is certainly is capable of and Evans, Reed should be able to do by now as well. Any thoughts? Flame away !

Good post. I think you and the posters have hit on the real problem with the Bills. They lack cohesiveness as a team and thus we have mental errors and breakdowns when it counts most. This is a talented group of 53 players but they dont always play as a team. How does the Pats seem to bring in FA's and become a team? Answer that question and you have the solution for the Bills. Can we hire a consultant for building team chemistry? Squish the fish !
