It seems to me that he and his Dad outsmarted themselves with the NYG decision. San Diego would be a great place to be right now for a rookie QB. Sometimes it is not smart to deflect how the chips are falling.

I would like to see the Bills get into the playoffs. There will be games then against the best in a do or die scenerio. Lets get into the playoffs first. It would be great for the team's psyche to get in and play. Next year would then be an easier time to attract top FA's if necessary since we are a team on the rise.

Did you see the Bills play the Chargers in the quarter finals game at the Murph? Joe Fergeson played that game. It was a really good game as well. Joe Fergeson had a bum ankle and he just stood in the shotgun formation and took the deep snap and heaved the ball. We lost that game by the slimmest of margins but I thought it was courageous of Ferge to take that beating and still be competitive.

I would add that the suicide rate for teens is much higher in Asian countries because some teens become despondant over the rigors of the academia and if they are percieved at failing to make the grade. No thanks, I dont want that intensity or pressure on my kids. There is more to life than being able to to prove the 4th dimension of time and space mathematically. Life holds so much more than your ability to perform algebra.

I think we will keep Travis. A team needs two quality RB's to last a season. We are starting our 3rd on the depth chart this week because both Travis and Willis are out. Depth at RB is necessary, not just a luxury. Having said that, I read MM comments that Travis is starting to practice, could we see him against San Fran? I hope so, Shaud didnt exactly light it up against the Bengals.

Sam Wyche calls the Bengals game our worst game offensively. Sal Moriana says the Bengals stacked the box with 8 to stop the run, daring Bledsoe beat them with his arm and he couldn't. I might add that Bledsoe's inability to throw a decent short pass caused Willis to awkwardly reach for the ball that caused his injury. You could blame Bledsoe for this IMHO. I'm a little worried about these articles because I believe they are telling us the truth. If we make the playoffs, they are going to stack the line again forcing Bledsoe to make the throws. Can he get done? I hope so, but probably not. I hope MM has a real and fair open contest at QB during next year's pre-season. Dont just hand it off to Bledsoe without being challenged openly.
