  1. The OL has to create a pocket to allow a pocket passer to pass. The only hot pockets this OL creates are in the micro wave oven.
  2. I'm with you, TT is pretty good, expecting some rookie to come in and do better is crazy. It will take a rookie 3 years to get up to speed, by then this crowd will drum the rookie out of town.
  3. I remember listening to the radio and news about OJ and the Electric Co. Driving past the War Memorial Stadium. I grew up in Fort Erie, but when I moved to SD in 83, I started watching the Bills more, been there thru good times and bad times. More philosophical about wins and losses now. Don't get so up and down whether they win or lose.
  4. I was gonna tackle the RB, but then I got high I was gonna defend the pass but then I got high
  5. Yes DW has hit some home runs with FA's, he also has whiffed on a few like Percy Harvin, Reggie Bush, that might be par for the course though.
  6. I'm still irritated that Washington drafted Cousins one pick before us in the 4th round if I remember correctly. I was watching the draft saying Cousins is still on the board just before our 4th round pick, getting excited Buffalo would draft him, then boom Washington took him, I was like WTF? they drafted RGIII in the first round, those QB hogs!
  7. Yes I agree that is probably close to or above most other GM's. You misunderstood my statement, I know the GM is heavily involved with FA's, IMHO it's much easier to identify a talented FA, it's much harder to draft starting NFL talent, hence the comment to use the drafts as the yard stick to measure a GM's skill.
  8. Personally I think TT is a decent QB. Maybe with KS , TT would get better with more pieces around him.
  9. You make a compelling case sir.
  10. Don't forget, is the power plug plugged in.
  11. I would love to see the stats on how many draft picks are still on the roster and starting compared to other GM's. That might be the better metric to measure a GM's success.
  12. I don't agree with Murph's comment of "Just fix the problem." Well sorry Murph, to fix the problem, sometimes people get fired and hopefully more capable people brought in to fix the problem. I'm not sure Doug Whaley is doing all that great of a job evaluating talent. So maybe to fix the problem, Doug Whaley might need to go, or is it the scouts? How does New England consistently restock the shelves? With good talent evaluation. We need to hire those guys to work for Buffalo.
  13. The Pegula's are way better than than Spanos's. Thank your lucky stars we have the Pegula's.
  14. Maybe that too, but I think it is an audition for EJ as trade bait?
  15. I voted to keep him before the Miami game, now I'm on the get rid of him band wagon. A better DC could get more out of these same players. I would hire Wade Phillips to take over HC and DC. Let the magic begin.
  16. As you see with all the opinions expressed here on how to improve the Bills, the common thread is that we all want the Bills to get better and WIN! Go Bills! The Bills will be picking up a new fan, with the Chargers leaving SD , my son is converting to being a Bills fan! Yeah! It only took 22 years.
  17. Funny, so then that would make you Satan? The anti COT?
  18. I'm no QB expert, but ... I slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night and I have watched a lot of Phillip Rivers being in San Diego. He throws the ball like a cripple and misses guys all the time, but everyone calls him a great QB. TT is a decent QB, he is not our problem. Sign him.
  19. Merry Christmas to all !
  20. And who is our savior rookie QB waiting to be drafted by the Bills?
  21. I don't blame TT for that stat, I blame the OL giving no protection and no WR's for him to throw to. Plus if your at the top of the NFL in the running game, that means your calling a lot of running plays and not throwing the ball as much. Is it possible to be #1 in the running game and #1 in passing stats at the same time?
  22. I'm all for upgrades at any position. But realistically I don't see a better option. Draft another QB for sure and have a QB competition next preseason. May the best man win. But I have seen the opposing defenses crashing thru the OL the second the ball is snapped, nobody is going to do very well under those conditions. We have one good WR that has trouble staying healthy, Robert Woods is serviceable and then it drops way off after that. The defense is harder to decipher, is it players or scheme? Swartz came in and turned it around in one season. I think a new HC slash DC could turn this defense around. My vote is for Wade Philips, he puts players in a scheme to succeed based on their skills. Just my opinion, we will see what happens,
  23. I like Rex but he is in over his head. I vote for bringing back Wade Philips and keep TT. We need to shore up the OL and add two more WR's. Should have kept Chris Hogan.
