Yes, that is a telling stat. This defense cannot stop anybody in the usual way. A tuirnover is the only way they are getting the othe team off the field. That is very scary. I would rather have three and outs than TO's. It is more reliable to count on a three and out than a TO.
Also the OL needs to be able to push the other DL back on a goal line stand. This OL is embarassing.
The 'D' made a good play there. If they didn't, Miami was on a roll. The bigger point is though, why cant the offense close the door in the second half ?
KH is not the answer. We are still going to get beat by Miami this Sunday. I guess if KH is beaten to a pulp then MM can start the kid the rest of the year and not second guess himself about what KH can do.
But if KH plays lights out and we somehow manage to beat Miami, then leave KH in until there is a reason to not play KH. Next year they can have a QB competition to see who starts.
Yes, but that style only works when your OL can run the ball 3 yards when everyone knows your going to run the ball, they put 8 in the box and you still get your 3 to 4 yards. Our OL isn't getting that kind of production.
The only one I agree with is Mark Cambell. Does he even suit up on Sunday because he has been invisible except to take game turning penalties and trip up our kick returners just before they make it into the end zone !
Sad, but very true ! This rests squarely on TD's shoulders of avoiding the OL for years now. Many many years.
The trade deadline is coming up, is their anyone decent left available ?
I'll chime in to say Amen aboput the OL and playcalling. It is really disturbing to see Willis run really well and then they dont just pound the ball when JP is struggling ! Baffling to say the least !
