I am waxing more philosophical after losses these days because I am looking forward to next year but here is my list of positives and negatives from the game Positives 1) JP Losman gets better with each game. He is going to be great for us ! 2) I like our WR's 3) Willis is a good RB. Why is everyone bagging on him. Just focus on the fuield performance and ignore when they speak. 4) Who was that King guy ? He was making some plays out there ! Negatives 1) The OL looked like crap again and needs to be seriously upgraded in the off season. Willis is getting tackled when being handed the ball. It's amazing that he gets as many yards as he does with this pathetic OL. 2) This DL couldn't stop a girl scout troop with the flu and the runs. We need two decent DE's and few NT's that can actually stop a running play. 3) Can we ever get a DB that can cover a TE or a short route ? 4) Gray and TC should be fired after this season. Can Jerry Gray adjust to anything ? He only knows to blitz. I guess LeBeau was the real genius afterall. Maybe if TC had a decent OL his playcalling would work better, but can he change his plays to adapt to what he has to work with ? 5) The secondary was getting schooled out there again ! We need upgrades at these positions as well.

No drafting duties should be delegated to someone else.

Yes, I agree that article hints at a change at the GM spot. Please get another GM that can judge football talent properly !

We have good skill players. We just need the OL to be improved and DL to be improved. Maybe replace Greer as well. Then this team will be playoff bound.

I would try the pay cut option first. If MW refuses then cut him. I also would cut Bennie Anderson , Villareal and Teague. Draft as many OL as possible and hire FA position to fill in the blanks that the draft cant solve. To think we passed on Freeney for MW ?

I agree. If we had a decent OL this would be a dramatically different team right now. We have good players at the skill positions but we suck at the OL positions which kills everything else. TD has really screwed the pooch when it concerns the OL. Can he fix it in one off season ?

It was very hot (temperature wise) at the game. Most people were baking in the sun. The players on the field must have been ready to have heat stroke. That may have been a factor. Tampa Bay and Oakland come to mind as well. This team doesn't play well in the heat.

Rock solid post Lori. The Chargers are 10 point favs this Sunday. Thats a lot of point to layoff. If I were a betting man I would take the points. Gates is going to eat us alive with the over the middle stuff. But I still predict a close game and with a few lucky break, we can win this game.

I'm not worked up, I'm only sharing my opinion. Which is what this board is all about, right? I don't care when MM makes the announcement. What rubs me the wrong way is that MM even has to think about who the starter should be ! It is obvious to everyone except MM who the starter should be. 75% of the people on this board thought JP should start BEFORE the KC game. If you polled again now that JP played good in the KC game it would even be higher, maybe around 90%. Playing Holcomb only stunts the growth of this team. JP was drafted to be the starter and Holcomb was signed as a backup. Lets find out this year if we have a keeper in JP. I like what I have seen so far with JP and want to stick with him. To have MM say I'm not sure who the starter should be makes me lose confidence in his ability to be the HC of my favourite football team.

Are you kidding me Mularky ? If you start Holcomb you are the biggest !@#$ ever to be called a head coach. This is not even a decision to make. You start Losman without question? I will lose boatloads of respect for MM if he starts Holcomb.

Just pick a play that works ! And then you wont get second guessed ! Al Davis coined the best football saying for the ages. "Just win Baby !" It solves all problems and questions !

Cross is the most annoying announcer. He will always bag on the Bills and harp on about how good the other team is. What did the Bills ever do to this guy anyways ?

One play yes, but it happened to be for the game winning FG attempt to win the Super Bowl. Hardly just a routine FG attempt. But, I know what your saying. He usually was Mr. Automatic, and was Mr. Clutch many times to win the game.

I'm with ya on this one. It makes no sense to start KH. Lets get started with the JP era !
