  1. Thats my understanding as well. But you can only make so many big bonus signings and then you hit the cap and can't even field a team of 53 players. Every team needs 44 - 49 bread and butter players and a handful of highly paid super stars. The NFL has parity. The rich teams cant outspend Ralph.
  2. In/Out Cheeseburger, fires and Diet Coke. Pure heaven. If your ever in So. Cal. look for an In/Out Burger and try one. Pretty darn good and the fries are from fresh potatoes. You can see the guy take a spud squeeze it thru a screen to make the fries. Straight into the fryer.
  3. Signing bonuses count against the cap dont they ? I think the answer is yes, so how can teams sign $100M in signing bonuses without going over the cap ? And they are not spreading contracts over 20 years. So what gives ?
  4. So whats the problem ? Sign Nate and get Asante Samual as well.
  5. In hind site. I think Wade was a good HC, he had a winning record every year. Everyone learns from their mistakes, I think Wade would correct where he saw flaws in his HC duties and probably would be a better HC. So yes, I think retread HC's can get better.
  6. By the way, when does Free Agency start ?
  7. I still don't see it. Signing bonus still count againts the cap. So if you blow the wad on one player, it counts against the cap and you have less room to sign other players.
  8. It certainly was an entertaining game right down to the final seconds. But that game was not a choke job in anybodies definition. The Pats lost a hard fought game right to the final seconds. I was happy to see the Colts win, because to see the Pats in another SB and I probably wouldn't watch the game.
  9. Bob needs to let this story die. It's unproductive to rehash this story. Find some new material Bob ! Get off your ass and find something original.
  10. We should enjoy watching these HOF QB's in Brady and Peyton. 10 to 20 years from now when they are retired their legend will grow more and we will say to anyone who will listen to us, that we saw that game. I remember when ....
  11. Thats what I thought too. What an Ass for not at least congratulating the other team QB and Coach. It will be a pleasure next year to beat them twice !
  12. Good prediction. I hope you didn't bet too much !
  13. I thought I saw Bellicheck just brush by Peyton without congratulating him. It looked very un-gracious. Did I miss something in that exchange or is he a sore loser ?
  14. Good points. You may be right.
  15. Why have an OC if Cam Cameron will make the playcalls on Sunday ?
  16. Has anyone heard if Mularky was let go from the Dolphins ? Since Cam Cameron is an offensive guy what does he do with MM ?
  17. Good for you. You should be very proud of your accomplishments and survival skills.
  18. God bless. Hang in there !
  19. Gotta disagree with you on this one. The Colts 'D' has found the on switch and is playing their best all year. Colts at home, playoff experience, Peyton Manning is as good as it gets at the Qb position. Colts win this by at least 3 points.
  20. I was thinking the same thing. He should have kept pounding LT in the second half.
  21. I would sue the police, Patriots, Kraft's , Security, the stadium and the hotdog vendor for negligence.
  22. I agree. I'm in the 1% category.
  23. Give this story a rest already. It's really pathetic to watch people obsess over this comment taken out of context. People need to get a life and move on to something that is really important, like your family, God, Country, homelessness, drugs, Iraq war, terrorism. There are many topics to really get worked up about, this isn't one of them.

  25. I havn't been following the probowl voting, but isn't the probowl more a popularity contest more than talent ? But in my opinion the San Diego OL is the best in football. Would you disagree ? Which OL is better ? The San Diego RB's usually are 10 yards downfield before any contact is made on them.
