A few weeks ago at my ranch in inland San Diego county by the wild animal park it was 115 and we had a wedding there that day. I thought people were going to pass out it was so freakin hot.

It depends on the onshore flow ocean breezes and the distance inland you are talking about. The ocean cools the air for miles and miles inland, but at a certain point, the sun heats up the land and the land heats the air and it starts to get hot, the cooling effect of the ocean only goes so far.

The cooler ocean temps cools the air around it. Once you get far enough inland the land is hotter and heats the air up to 100 degree temps.

From what I can tell from the news, if any of the bystanders thought to get out a car jack then they could have propped up the car and maybe saved Keil's life. Maybe they were afraid of putting more pressure on his chest and making it worse, hard to say, but it seemed like the obvious solution.

The City of San Diego is in dire financial straits. The city is not in a position to make a deal with the chargers. So the chargers are going to have to build themselves a new stadium if they want one. Personally I think Qualcomm stadium is just fine. It's BS to me that they need a new one. Now that the Padre's play in Petco park they can remodel Qualcomm stadium to be more NFL friendly.
